Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the employee performance of fish-based food processing industries in West Java, which driven by variables of organizational culture, job satisfaction and motivation. The fishing industry in Indonesia has resulted in huge foreign exchange. On the other hand, their products are still poor quality and do not meet export standard. This is likely due to low employee performance. The research object were employees of three fish-based food processing plants. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique. This study revealed different results from previous studies, that only organizational culture has an effect on employee performance. While job satisfaction and motivation has no effect on performance. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji kinerja karyawan industri pengolahan makanan berbasis ikan di wilayah Jawa Barat, yang dipengaruhi dari variabel budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi. Industri perikanan di Indonesia telahmenghasilkan devisa negara besar. Disisi lain, hasil produknya masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standar ekspor dan bermutu rendah. Hal tersebut kemungkinan dikarenakan kinerja karyawan yang rendah. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan dari tiga pabrik pengolahan makanan berbasis ikan. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan hasil yang berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya. Dari ketiga variabel independen, hanya budaya organisasi yang berpengaruh pada kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja dan motivasi tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the characteristic differences between academic researcher and academic lecturer using an application of multiple discriminant analysis. Results show that there are three characteristics distinguish both of group, that is: 1) searching call for papers/conference/seminar schedules via internet, 2)buying new books with own money, and 3) alocating much more time for doing research rather than teaching. The last finding revealed that 86.4% of observations were correctly classified.Keywords: Multiple Discriminant Analysis, Lecturer Characteristic

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui 1) Deskripsi dari kompensasi, lingkungan kerja dan produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Artolite Indah Mediatama, 2) Pengaruh antara kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Artolite Indah Mediatama, 3) Pengaruh antara lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja PT Artolite Indah Mediatama, 4) Model penelitian kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja dapat memprediksikan produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Artolite Indah Mediatama. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 126 orang karyawan PT Artolite Indah Mediatama dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan metode survey yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS 22. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan eksplanatori. Hasil dari regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan, dan model penelitian kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja dapat memprediksikan produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Artolite Indah Mediatama.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui 1) Deskripsi dari job insecurity, komitmen organisasi dan turnover intention pada karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) di Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi 2) Pengaruh dari job insecurity terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) di Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi 3) Pengaruh dari komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) di Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi 4) Job insecurity dan komitmen organisasi dapat memprediksi turnover intention pada karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) di Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 120 orang karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) yang ada di Jl. Jababeka 17, Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang kemudian diolah dengan program SPSS. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan ex post facto. Hasil yang didapat dari regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Job insecurity terhadap turnover intention dan pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan antara komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention serta model penelitian Job insecurity dan komitmen organisasi dapat memprediksikan turnover intention pada karyawan industri manufaktur (Automotive Dan Metal Part) yang ada di Jl. Jababeka 17, Kawasan Jababeka 1 Cikarang, Bekasi, dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (24,177 > 3,07) dan signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

AbstractStudy among 112 Master degree students at Faculty of Economics, State  University of Jakarta revealed some important findings: 1) students’ positive attitude is strong, students’ subjective norms is high, students’  selfefficacy is medium, and students’ entrepreneurial intention rate is  medium; 2) attitude which controlled by age significantly influenced the  students’ entrepreneurial intention; 3) subjective norms which controlled by  age significantly influenced the students’ entrepreneurial intention; 4)  selfefficacy which controlled by the age significantly influenced the  students’ entrepreneurial intention; and 5) attitude, subjective norms, and  self-efficacy which controlled by the age influenced students’  entrepreneurial intention. Another important finding shows that 14.6%  students’ entrepreneurial intention formed by attitude, subjective norms, and self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to review and reconfirm research on customer satisfaction and customer trust in online applications. In this study, the object raised is SIPP Online, developed by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan at the branch office of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kelapa Gading. This research model includes Customer Satisfaction, Customer Trust, Variation of Functions, and Web Design. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to test the path analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by operating the AMOS 22 application for testing research models. The sample in this study amounted to 315 PIC companies participating in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. In this study, there are seven direct hypotheses and three indirect hypotheses (mediation). The results of this study indicate that all hypotheses made in the study are statistically accepted. The limitation in this research is that the study's scope only includes the Kelapa Gading branch of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce a customer loyalty model in the mobile payment business in Indonesia. The mobile payment industry is currently in a period of rapid growth. Mobile payments are a vast need felt by consumers, especially in urban areas with good quality internet networks. Even though it is online, it still requires good customer service and can provide user satisfaction with this application. In this mobile payment business competition, the Link Aja company tries to compete with several platforms with several weaknesses in its business strategy. To achieve the research objectives, a sample selection of 200 users of the Link Aja mobile platform who live in Jakarta was selected. Non-probability sampling techniques are used to facilitate the collection of primary data needed to analyze the structural equation models used to test the hypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing reveal that service quality, promotion, and customer satisfaction have a positive impact on the level of customer loyalty of the Link Aja platform. Besides, customer satisfaction itself is influenced by the quality of service and promotions carried out by the Link Aja platform. The recommendation for the Link Aja platform is to immediately improve the application to make it easier to use and provide more cashback promotions for its users. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine a description of the work environment, job stress and job satisfaction of PT Denko Wahana Industri employees, to test and analyze the effect of work environment on job satisfaction of employees of PT Denko Wahana Industri, to test and analyze the effect of job stress on employee job satisfaction. PT Denko Wahana Industri. This study uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method to analyze data. The research model used in this research is descriptive explanatory. This study was conducted on 154 employees, with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used a survey method, namely distributing questionnaires which were then processed by the SmartPLS 3.3.3 program. The results of PLS show that there is a significant influence on the work environment and job stress on employee job satisfaction.Keywords: work environment, job stress, and job satisfaction, PT Denko Wahana Industri
