<![CDATA[The objectives of the study are to: (1) analyze any motives that drives entrepreneurs use e- commerce; (2) reviewing the benefits of e-commerce for entrepreneurs and; (3) analyze the barriers of entrepreneurs in implementing e-commerce. The result indicates that the motive of entrepreneurs in implementing e-commerce are accessing global markets 56%, promoting the product 63%, branding 56%, close to the customers 74%, helps communication quickly to customers 63% and satisfying the customers 56%. Beside, the benefits are satisfying the customers 74% and competitive advantage 81%. The barriers faced by entrepreneurs are the lack of human resources 40%, the high cost of 20%, licensing difficulties 20%, and business network 20% .]]>

<![CDATA[In the era of autonomy, swamp (situ) is the one of property that could be managed by the local government in order to raise their revenues (PAD). However, in order to maximize its PAD, the decisions made by local governments usually faced with a complex situation. The research objective is to assess the perceptions and preferences of stakeholders that include the public, private sector and government towards the development of swamp. One of the eighteen swamps in Bekasi is "Situ Pule By using AHP obtained information that the most responsible party for the development of Situ Pulo is local government. Seeing this fact, the local government should be able to do development initiatives. However, the process of swamp development should depart from the aspirations of local communities.]]>

<![CDATA[An increasingly rapid technological progress in the era of globalization in the business world, so do not rule out the possibility that a decision-making is something that is very vital in determining the decisions to be taken in the face of competitive business world. Decision making can be influenced by several aspects, this can affect the speed of decision making by the decision maker in which decisions must be quick and accurate. Lecturer Performance Assessment Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process is a decision support system that aims to assess faculty performance according to certain criteria. This system of faculty performance appraisal criteria to map a hierarchy, where each hierarchy will be performed pairwise comparison, the pairwise comparisons between criteria, so to get a comparison of the relative importance of criteria with each other. The results of this comparison is then analyzed to obtain the priority of each criterion. Once completed and performed an assessment of alternative options to be compared and calculated to obtain the best alternatives according to established criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[This study required to test the influence of corporate governance structure that includes an independent board, the board of directors, institutional ownership and managerial ownership on firm’s value in Indonesia. The sample in this study were 45 companies included and registered as a company with the most liquid stocks (LQ-45) on the Stock Exchange during the period January 2010 to December 2010. The data used in this study is a secondary data contained in the Indonesian Capital Market Directory and the annual reports obtained from the Data Centre for Economics and Business at the University of Indonesia. The data collected, processed by using procedures Ordinary Least Square (OLS) using multiple regression. This study found that corporate governance structure that includes an independent board, the board of directors, institutional ownership and managerial ownership has a significant impact on firm’s value.]]>

XX in Jakarta and to identify variables that have a dominant influence on the productivity of employees. The research method used is using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the all variables simultaneously and partially change the organizational structure, job design, and organizational culture has a significant impact on employee productivity at PT. <![CDATA[ACFTA memberi dampak terhadap hampir semua sektor ekonomi, baik dampak positif maupun negatif. Namun demikian, dampak negatifini lebih tinggi ketimbang dampak positifnya. Artikel ini mengkaji dampak ACFTA terhadap permintaan mainan anak-anak buatan Indonesia; dan mengkaji tingkat elastisitas produk mainan anak-anak buatan Indonesia dengan produk mainan anak-anak buatan China. Nilai-nilai yang diuji dalam artikel ini men ggunakan Model Regresi Multiplikatif. Hasil menunjukkan: pertama, ACFTA berdampak terhadap produk mainan Indonesia. Indikatornya adalah pasar didominasi oleh produk mainan buatan China, dan produk mainan dari China 11,7 kali lebih diinginkan oleh konsumen ketimbang produk mainan Indonesia. Kedua, elastisitas silang antara kedua produk asal bernilai 0,085. Nilai ini mengindikasikan bahwa produk mainan buatan Indonesia dan China adalah komplementer dan subtitutif satu sama lain. Elastisitas silang yang positifbisa menjadi petunjuk adanya praktik kartel di pasar mainan anak-anak Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper is to (1) analyze the level of satisfaction of students in the learning process; (2) analyze the variables that give satisfaction to the students in the learning process, (3) analyze the relation between suitability levels with expected performance provided. This study used a technique Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The result shows, the level of student satisfaction in general is low. Based on the sequences, the lowest suitability level is the speed and accuracy of employees in resolving student complaints, internet and intranet facilities, availability and completeness of the facilities in the library reading room and lecture hall comfort.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to: (1) review and analyze the strategies that have been implemented by 10 young entrepreneur’s Program of IbK of STIEAD Jakarta in developing their businesses over the years; (2) identify and analyze the strategies that will be run by them for the next day; (3) analyze and formulate proposals for business development strategy is relevant to young entrepreneurs run by them. The results shows, the strategy which conducted by them is actually still conventional and little is applying modern business patterns. However, they have a plan/strategy development effort that started steady state. Targets that have been set should be reassessed and to be rationalized, if the strategy is capable of being implemented. The recommendations concerned are for all tenants should have self determination for entrepreneurship, able to instill confidence, and always looking for a way out in case of a deadlock]]>

This study emphasize that develop the competitiveness between inter-governmental is began to develop regional competitiveness. The implications for the region is expected improved performance of public institutions and increased competitiveness in the macro level. At the micro level, the local government must create an environment of healthy competition among entrepreneurs in the region, and encourage the development of the company to be a reliable company and to develop a cluster of certain business activities. It is therefore necessary effort to exploit comparative advantage (input), which includes labor, natural resources, and strategic location, as well as the culture of excellence.]]>
