Abstract

Course scheduling problem belongs to the category of NP - hard (Non - deterministic polynomial - time complex). The complexity of solving course scheduling problems give an indication to the limits of the constraints to the problem. The application of evolutionary algorithms with Generation Replacement Methods on Course scheduling problem (Case Study of the University of Atma Jaya Makassar) can give an indication on the problem of scheduling constraints that limit each faklutas at Atma Jaya University, Makassar. Simulation results showed that scheduling constraints limit in any faculty at the University of Atma jaya Makassar depends on the size of the population space and the number of genes that are raised to fill the space where the population or chromosome problem complexity increases with introduction of restrictions on the scheduling of such sessions , space , semester and faculty and computational complexity of the problem requires greater resources in line with the increasing restrictions being introduced.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the design of accounting information systems making in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. Where the current system is currently experiencing a lot of problems due to limited human resources, especially in managing partial phase still use the recording in the books and another part that is still simple to use application. This study uses structured design, program PHP, and MySQL as data storage and DB Designer as an analytical tool. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of designing a system that can help the processing of accounting data cooperative savings and loan information Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar and generate accounting reports on the management of savings and loans cooperatives Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar.

Abstract

Student’s assignment is one of component in the course assessment. The problem that can be found is a student copied the work of another student or can be called plagiarism. There are several ways to detect plagiarism based on similarity text, such as n-gram technique. In this research, Sorensen-Dice Coefficient is used to get the percentage of similarity text between the documents of student’s assignment and detection of plagiarism limited to text documents. N values that used in this research are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and obtained best N value is 7 based on the average of difference relevance.

Abstract

Today, Collection of image data on the Internet is growing rapidly in terms of quantity. In parallel with this a method of content -based image retrieval (Content -based image retrieval) is needed in the process of identifying and accessing visual information. Content -based image retrieval basically simulates the human perception of an image so that an error occurred in the text -based retrieval methods can be overcome. In this research, the image retrieval system is implemented with the extraction of low level features of the image. Low-level information used in this study is the color information contained in the image. Composition of color pixels in an image can be represented in a color histogram. The degree of similarity between the image color is determined based on the distance between the histogram using Laplace distance and Euclidean distance. The smaller the distance between the histogram, the higher the percentage of similarity of an image. Results of image retrieval through the database will be displayed according to the query by example method performed by a user, based on the sequence of images that have a higher percentage of similarity.

Abstract

Traffic accident are the third killer in the world after HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis. Factors that cause accidents classified by elements of the transportation system itself are the road user, vehicle, road and environment. In this research apply fuzzy logic to control the vehicle speed limits by using Mamdani inference method. This research was carried out to control the driver so that not to accelerate the vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed limit based on surrounding circumstances. Circumstances which are used as variables: class, weather and distance between vehicles. The results of this research have been successfully made speed control vehicle simulation with fuzzy logic in matlab r2012a.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the design of development decision support systems credit application in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. Where the current system is currently experiencing a lot of problems in the process of verifying the pleading file members. The verification process involves a lot of data files are still in the form of paper documents so susceptible to human error in data processing. This paper used a structured design, program PHP, MySQL as the data storage, and DB Designer as an analytical tool. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of designing a system that can help the processing of the data file members who apply for credit and designing a credit application decision support systems in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar.

Abstract

Healthy is the right of every person. Therefore, every person has the same rights in obtaining access to the resources in the health field. However, there are limitations in the access and a minimal level of public knowledge about health wellness does not end up making every person the same. It is seen from the high number of deaths in children under five due to diarrheal diseases. To that end, Indonesia Sehat Programme 2025 in which people's behavior is proactive to maintain and improve health and prevent the risk of developing the disease then designed a wellness educational applications using multimedia expansion method and use the library as a method of research studies. The results of this study indicate that the application to help people obtain educational information about the disease, especially diarrhea.

Abstract

One of the challenges faced by cement company is how to produce the final product in the form of cement as expected by the customer, both in terms of quality and quality, to maintain the trust of the costumer toward the product. The high of market demand lead to the need for the application of technology for the efficiency, in this case the application of bag weight statistics method to suppress or minimize the high case of overloaded or under loaded on the delivery of cement packaging bags of 40 kg and 50 kg. The data in 2013, the total tonnage reaches over 128 831 tons per month. Potential of inefficiencies reaches 1.04 billion dollars. It does not include the distribution time wasted on re-checking. Bag Weight Statistics Method Using SAP ECC 6 in weighbridge is an effort to suppress the loss due to improper calibration system. This method observes the trend of weighbridge generated through monitoring SAP ECC 6 then take the lowest error values of the system as a reference. The lowest error values will then become a reference for the calibration of the system if any value exceeds the average of error values.

Abstract

The difficulty of mobile operators signal that can be captured in the sub-districts in Tulang Bawang district, makes a problem in the data transmission process payment transactions Land and Building Tax (PBB) from business districts to the Department of Revenue Property and Public Asset (DP2KA), and need testing the type of signal that can be received in each district. This study uses data delivery technique messaging (e-mail) with software support PHP, Javascript and JSON as a form of payment transaction data to be sent. By using PHP, Javascript and JSON in this application, create an application that was developed into a platform independent code and data both as well as low cost in implementation of e-goverenment.

Abstract

This research aims to design a prototype for data warehouse as a data storage that has a structure and derived from different data sources (heterogeneous). Metadata is the data description which can be used as a catalog so that users can get complete information about the database is built. Data warehouse is a collection of data that are subject-oriented, integrated, time variant and non-volatile . These properties make the data warehouse included in OLAP (OnLine Analytical Proceesing) where the data stored and can not be changed at any time (real time). That was the distinguishes between a regular information system. The ability of data warehouses is extraction data from heterogeneous databases. Heterogeneous database is the database that is derived from several different data sources and have different table structures also vary. The author designed a prototype with the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and using a star schema. The design of data warehouse was used Kimball method which designed from branch table to centralized (bottom-up approach). The prototype of this metadata can help the decision-making process with the use of data mining techniques.
