Abstract

This research aims to test the growth and survival of fish tilapia (Oreochromis. SP) strains of red and black strains maintained at Tanjung Jabung Regency in the embankment of the Western media in salinity of the water. The results of this research diharapan one of the strains of Tilapia fish can serve as an alternate replacement for the cultivation of shrimp that are considered not suitable to be kept on a farm in the area. This research was conducted in September through December 2015 which is located in the village of Tanjung Jabung Regency Dualap River West of Jambi. The fish test fish tilapia strains used are red and black strains obtained from Freshwater Cultivation Hall (BBAT) Jambi with a weighted average of 8 grams/tail.The parameters observed is the growth rate and survival rate. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using t-Test. Maintenance of test fish was performed for 60 days with a time of sampling that is day 0, 30, 60, and 90 day.Keyword : growth, media in salinity

Abstract

Aeromonas hydrophila is one of the pathogens cause disease incidence of Motile Aeromonad Septicaemia (MAS) on fish farming. Efforts are being made to cope with the disease by administering antibiotics. Administering of antibiotics continuously can cause pollution to the environment, resistance in bacteria and residues in fish. The use of bio-pharmacy performed as an alternative antibakterial that are natural and effective in inhibiting bacterial growth and eco-friendly, one crop of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii). This research aims to know the effectiveness of cinnamon leaf extract c. burmanii antibacterials in inhibiting the growth of bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila. This research is experimental research laboratories. Antibacterial test done by the method of macrodilution. Cinnamon leaf extract dose the word i.e. 0%, 0.25%, 0.5% and 1%. The results showed a dose of cinnamon leaf extract 0.5% can inhibit the growth of bacteria a. hydrophila is characterised by the absence of bacteria that grow on TSA medium. Keywords:   Cinnamomum burmanii, Aeromonas hydrophila,in vitro

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the NPL,  LDR, ROA, ROE, NIM and CAR variables toward Earnings Growth. The Data was used in this research based on publicity annual report of PT. Bank BCA, Tbk got from website of Bank BCA since 2004 until 2014. During research period show as data research was normally distributed. Based on multicollinierity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test variable digressing of classic assumption has not founded, which indicate that the available data has fulfill the condition to use multi linier regression model. Empirical evidence show as NPL and ROA partiality have an influence toward earnings growth with significance value less than 0.05. ROE, LDR, NIM, and CAR variables have no influence toward earnings growth at significance level 5%. Prediction capability from these ten variables toward earnings growth is 46.1%, where the balance (53.9%) is affected to other factors which was not to be entered to this research model. Keywords : NPL, LDR, ROA, ROE, NIM, CAR, Earnings Growth

Abstract

Tofu factory in the district Dendang factory on an industrial scale is generally managed the household. In one day this factory uses raw materials such as soybeans (Grylin Spp) of 50 kg and the results obtained only marketed around the District Dendang. The volume of waste generated over 2.25 to 5 m³ / day. Mr. Ahmad Yamin’s tofu factory is one of the largest factories in the district Dendang, Tanjung Jabung Timur has characteristics of pH wastewater, TSS, NH3-N, BOD, COD, NO3, NO2, sequence 5, 34, 329 mg / l, 03:49 mg / l, 581 mg / l, 1228 mg / l, 1.3629 mg / l, 1.3771 mg / l. Some wastewater parameters have been tested exceed the quality standards appropriate to KEPMENLH NO 51, 1995. Generally, the wastewater can pollute the environment out either physically, chemically and biologically. It is necessary to develop wastewater treatment technologies that are simple, low cost, easy operation and has a high processing efficiency of pollutants. One alternative biofilter wastewater using anaerobic aerobic reactor is developed with the principles of microbial growth and attached to the filter media and form a layer biofilm. Data collection methods used are field surveys, documentation, literature review and alaisis laboratory to determine the characteristics of water limbah.Hasil waste discharge planning calculation for 25 (twenty five) years is 38.18 m3 / dayKey word : Liquid Waste Know, anaerobic-aerobic biofilter.

Unknown factors related to malaria treatment compliance so that the formulation of the problem is what are the factors related to malaria treatment compliance in Sarolangun. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors associated with compliance of malaria treatment in Sarolangun Jambi Province. This research is an explanatory research with cross sectional design. Samples are patients who tested positive for malaria through laboratory tests. The number of samples in this research were 122 respondents. The results showed 60.7% of respondents have less compliance in the treatment of malaria compared with good adherence of 30.9%. Statistical analysis of variables that were statistically show that the dominant influence is the knowledge about malaria with 0,024 value ρ (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 3376 and 95% CI = 1175-9701; perceptions of barriers where ρ value <0.001 (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 8352 and CI 95% = 2925-23847; support families with ρ value 0,003 (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 7113 and CI 95% = 1926-26272. Other factors that are not related to malaria treatment compliance were age, education, income, long suffering from malaria and perception of vulnerability (ρ> 0.05)Statistically significant variables as risk factors for malaria treatment compliance is knowledge about malaria, perception of barriers, as well as family support. Keywords : Perception, compliance of treatment, Malaria

Abstract

The increasing needs of the people of Jambi on air transport makes Sultan Taha Airport increased airline service. The airport activity is potentially causing the noise. Noise is unwanted sound, causing health problems and human comfort. Around the airport there are still many settlements that could be affected due to the sound emitted from flying activity, causing hearing loss, discomfort and sleep disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the noise level of flight activity in residential areas and how their impact. Noise measurements carried out for 8 days at which point the first three points are on the road Soekarno Hatta, point II at the South Rim, and the third point in the former area in the village Talang MTQ Jambi Hyacinths by using Sound Level Meter. The measurement results obtained average noise level at the point I is 58.4 dB, point II was 65.5 dB and the third point is 68 dB. It was concluded that the region does not deserve to be a residential area because of the noise that occurs above the threshold quality standard that is 55 dB. This has implications for public health in the vicinity where the 30 respondents showed at the point I feel very noisy 40% and 60% is quite noisy, and point II approximately 10% feel very noisy and the remaining 90% is quite noisy. So is the case with settlements in point III about 10% feel very noisy and 90% quite noisy. for residential health disorders found about 60% of respondents experienced sleep disturbances, hearing loss due to noise exposure is too long. key words: noise, health impact, airport,
