Abstract

In the case of malaria Sarolangun ranks 10th AMI and API Comparison of the total population and the incidence of malaria cases is highest in Singkut health center with a total number of 481 patients with AMI 21.20%, and API 242 (3.38%). Unknown factors related to malaria treatment compliance so that the formulation of the problem is what are the factors related to malaria treatment compliance in Sarolangun. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors associated with compliance of malaria treatment in Sarolangun Jambi Province.This research is an explanatory research with cross sectional design. Samples are patients who tested positive for malaria through laboratory tests. The number of samples in this research were 122 respondents. The results showed 60.7% of respondents have less compliance in the treatment of malaria compared with good adherence of 30.9%. Statistical analysis of variables that were statistically show that the dominant influence is the knowledge about malaria with 0,024 value ρ (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 3376 and 95% CI = 1175-9701; perceptions of barriers where ρ value <0.001 (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 8352 and CI 95% = 2925-23847; support families with ρ value 0,003 (ρ <0.05) with POR / Exp (B) 7113 and CI 95% = 1926-26272. Other factors that are not related to malaria treatment compliance were age, education, income, long suffering from malaria and perception of vulnerability (ρ> 0.05)Statistically significant variables as risk factors for malaria treatment compliance is knowledge about malaria, perception of barriers, as well as family support.Keywords : Perception, compliance of treatment, Malaria

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan ISO dan dampaknya terhadap organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah FKIP Unbari staf administrasi. Berdasarkan kesimpulan analisis data yang diperoleh adalah kepuasan kerja terbentuk karena administrasi staf suasana kerja, rekan kerja dan pekerjaan sendiri. Berarti, staf administrasi merasa senang melakukan tugasnya Menjadi tanggung jawab ketika suasana dan hubungan kerja dengan rekan kerja Menurut apa yang mereka harapkan, dalam persepsi staf administrasi UKP, Pelaksanaan Efektivitas sistem ISO Disajikan dengan adanya kualitas dikendalikan kerja, bekerja secara konsisten dan kemudahan melakukan audit internal dan mendorong penyelesaian masalah.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, Komitmen Organisasi, Kepuasan Kerja, Efektivitas, Iso.

Abstract

Alcoholic beverages cause a variety of effects both on health and social ills in society. Therefore, the government issued a criminal policies for anyone producing, selling, consuming alcoholic beverages. One of the criminalization policy is made law No. 3 of 2008 on the Prohibition and Sale of Alcoholic beverages. policy, which is done through legislation and official bodies, which aims to establish a central norms of society. The results of the study obtained a conclusion that alcoholic beverages can result in danger to the wearer in addition, it also can lead to diseases such people, fights, sexual, abuse. Constraints in the statutory law enforcement investigators perceived problems while still less effort to overcome the habit of alcoholic beverages can be done in two ways: medically, and through psychological therapy.Keyword: policy, criminalization, alcoholic beverages

Abstract

Quality of human resources is inseparable from the work productivity of the human resources , since the quality of human resources can be seen from his productivity . Quality of human resources as well as the subject of development can determine the level of productivity will also determine the success of development and productivity is the driving force for economic development . So it can be said that the improvement of the quality of human resources is reflected in the contribution to economic growth is getting better . Factors affecting the quality of the society at large is the factor income , educational factors and health factors . Improvement of health , education and income levels give you an idea on improving the quality significantly.Based on estimates using the OLS method , showing the influence of the human development index (HDI) and the Quality of Life Index ( IMH ) on labor productivity Jambi province has a positive and significant effect can be seen from the calculated value of t is greater than t - table .Keywords: The Quality of Life Index (IMH), The Human Development Index, and Labor Productivity

Abstract

The increasing needs of the people of Jambi on air transport makes Sultan Taha Airport increased airline service. The airport activity is potentially causing the noise. Noise is unwanted sound, causing health problems and human comfort. Around the airport there are still many settlements that could be affected due to the sound emitted from flying activity, causing hearing loss, discomfort and sleep disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the noise level of flight activity in residential areas and how their impact. Noise measurements carried out for 8 days at which point the first three points are on the road Soekarno Hatta, point II at the South Rim, and the third point in the former area in the village Talang MTQ Jambi Hyacinths by using Sound Level Meter. The measurement results obtained average noise level at the point I is 58.4 dB, point II was 65.5 dB and the third point is 68 dB. It was concluded that the region does not deserve to be a residential area because of the noise that occurs above the threshold quality standard that is 55 dB. This has implications for public health in the vicinity where the 30 respondents showed at the point I feel very noisy 40% and 60% is quite noisy, and point II approximately 10% feel very noisy and the remaining 90% is quite noisy. So is the case with settlements in point III about 10% feel very noisy and 90% quite noisy. for residential health disorders found about 60% of respondents experienced sleep disturbances, hearing loss due to noise exposure is too long. key words: noise, health impact, airport,

Abstract

The research goal was identified correlation between client and family characteristic, stigma with family support. This research study was descriptive design by using cross sectional as a disign, took place at Mentally hospitallyProvince ofJambi in April to Mei 2007. Porposive sampling for selected of 80 sampel each for clien and family has been choosen 160 subjects totally with inclusion criteria. All instruments has been proven was valid (r>0,361. Reliability for self esteem inventory ( r=0,931), knowledge (r=0,843), Stigma ( r=0,889), Family support (r=0,939). The reseach result revealed that there were a correlation age (PV 0,004), stigma (0,011) and emotional support. There were a correlation between age ( P 0,017), education (PV 0,010), stigma (PV 0,002) and informational support. There was a correlation between education (PV 0,008) and instrumental support. There were a correlation between knowledge (PV 0,049), stigma (PV 0,019) and apraisal support. Recomendation to the hospital manager at Mentally hospitalprovince ofJambi was hope to facillitate training program, make a self help groups for the family, health education of stigma for nurse and public in order to get well family support. The family supposed to more attention, cared for client as long as in mentally hospital, accepted, acknowledged and praised attitudes of the client. Abstract

This study, entitled The Effect of Information Asymmetry, company size and leverage to earnings management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of information asymmetry, firm size and leverage simultaneously, partial and calculate how big influence on earnings management. This research is using secondary data. The population in this study manfaktur food and beverage companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2009-2013. The sample in this study amounted to 13 companies. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis with panel data. These results indicate asymmetry and leverage information can not significantly affect earnings management, company size significantly affect earnings management.Keywords: Effect of Information Asymmetry, Company Size and Leverage to Earnings Management.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance Batanghari University.Type of research is a quantitative survey research properties for descriptive purposes and an explanatory. Proportional sampling technique stratified random sampling. The sample of this study were employees of the University of  Batanghari, amounting to 48 people. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science).The results of the study are: 1) The rate of respondents of 80.80% for transformational leadership often. To work motivation level of achievement of 73.65% of respondents included in the regular category. As for employee performance achievement level of 76.73% respondents included in the category quite capable. There is the effect of transformational leadership and motivation to work together on employee performance at the University of Batanghari.Keyword: Transformational Leadership, Motivation, Performance

Abstract

Health behaviors are actions that individuals do to improve health. Sick behavior is the act of the individual in a state of illness to seek healing. The transcultural approach  adopted by the client; it is one of the way to success in providing nursing services. It aimed to determine understand the meaning and significance of sick health behavior of the Jambi Malay tribe based on transcultural nursing approach (sunrise model). This research design was a qualitative research.  Participants recruited as much as 5 person by purposive sampling method. Data colected with indepth interview and data analyzed by using colaizzi. This study was conducted on July 21st – August 21st 2017 at Muara Kumpeh village. The findings indicated that seven themes by using Sunrise Model theory i.e. 1)  religious factors and philosophy of life, 2) social factors and family attachment, 3) factors of cultural values and lifestyle, 4) technological factors, 5) prevailing policy and regulatory factors, 6) economic factors, 7) educational factors. It is expected that it can be input for tribal community of Malay Jambi in order to understand of sick health behaviors  in various aspects and able to apply and balance in their culture.Keyword: Sick Health behaviors, Jambi Malay Tribe, Transcultural Nursing
