Abstract

Stock opname is a kind of activity in a library to recount and recheck its collection with the goal of which is to know the real amount of the collection. Stock opname is urgent to do in order to control so that the library can know exactly and evaluate its asset or information resources. Having done the program of stock opname, the library can make real data about its collection by which the library consider how to develop the farther collection. Because of the important of this activity in developing collection, a library is adviced or persuaded to do it regularly in a certain time. That is in order to fulfill the aims or the goals of the collection developmentof a library based on the needs of users and the policy of its institution.

Abstract

The successful implementation of education in the Study Program is something that continues to be realized and improved in order to prepare the quality of graduates the better. Success in this case is also supported by many important factors and elements. Important factors consist of internal and external factors of Study Program. Internal factors include the quality of inputs or students of the Study Program, the quality of the teaching staff, the established and tested curriculum, adequate laboratory and classroom space, and evaluation of the availability of information resources for the study study. External factors of the Study Program include the carrying capacity of the parent institution, cooperative activities, information provider institutions such as library resources, and others. The library is quite rightly referred to as the heart of the college by looking at its function as a provider of information resources that support the provision of basic literature and supporting the implementation of lectures. The more complete and good the information resources provided by the library the better the fulfillment of literature needs for the Study Program. The better the study program literature available in the library the better the progress of the Study Program. This study examines the problem of how strategic planning relates to the needs of users (academicians) in STAIN Curup. Scientific examination of the above problems through the process of descriptive qualitative research using related theories and provide additional data description in the form of information on the implementation of the process of collecting libraries and librarian tasks that have been implemented in the Library STAIN Curup last two years. The analysis is obtained with information from the actors by looking at the constraints and collisions of the ideal theory. Strength of STAIN Curup Library owned in the implementation of strategic plan of routine budget, adequate human resources, supporting applications, and internet network. While other things are very potential to be manifested. Obstacles encountered can be overcome by regular evaluation process, good communication, support of the management and the provision of facilities and special human resources

Abstract

The assumption is there are many academic libraries of Indonesia especially under Minister of Religion Affairs (MORA) which hardly meet a demand of their users’ needs because their collection management or collection development policies do not prepare well. Actually to create a better collection, an academic library has to plan its collection well. This research has done with a purpose of inspecting a collection development policy of an academic library in Indonesia and its implementation. The collection development policy of main library of State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah at Jakarta in 2008 is the object of this research. This research has done by a descriptive qualitative approach that inspects deeply by means of any deep interview, observation, and document analysis. Having examined the formulation of its collection development policy we know the context of policy’s formulation, some actors who formulate, the roles of the head of the library, the attitude of the university and some values that influence. Having examined its implementation we know that the aims of the policy have achieved or not.

Abstract

Library is an institution that can not be separated from the role of librarians. Library dependence to the librarian is seen almost in the whole library complexity. Starting from planning, organizing, leadership, and control. Through this writing the authors will contribute a more real attachment between librarians and libraries. Based on some literature proves that between librarian and library can not stand alone. Starting from the management, service products and aspects of library accreditation assessment, librarians are instrumental in contributing enormously. Because of this dependence illustrates that the quality of the library will be seen from the quality of the librarian profession.

Abstract

Information literacy, in addition to being seen as a set of interpersonal competencies, can also be understood from the standpoint of society and human rights. The creativity of librarians in developing and improving services in the digital age is needed to pay attention. Librarians are able to take an active role in taking part in todays emerging technology era by innovating in services. In this era of technology and digital become the trend with slogan "world in our grip" so that library can no longer only build physical facilities and services which are conventional ones, but they have to be developed according to the development of time. Any intensive communication with users is an attempt to find out how digital information literacy is used and how library information literacy services can be integrated to the digital lifestyle of the users. In the world of librarianship the facts mentioned above are more appropriate if they are viewed in the context of digital information literacy that have been parts of the program in many libraries. However, it is necessary to extend the scope considering that digital phenomena are basically related to the use of media and communal capital in everyday life.

Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi saat ini, sistem informasi perpustakaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Seperti halnya sistem informasi penelusuran informasi (Integrated Library Information System) IBRA yang dapat membantu pemustaka mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian berjudul Evaluasi Kinerja (Integrated Library Information System) IBRA sebagai Sarana Temu Kembali Informasi di SD Muhammadiyah Sapen ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan 6 kreteria evaluasi temu kembali informasi menurut Salton dan McGill yang dikutip oleh Chownhulury, yaitu covererage of the collection (Cakupan Koleksi), precesion, Respon Time’s, (rentan waktu), Effort atau upaya pengguna, covererage of the collection ( Cakupan Koleksi), Penyajian data. Hasil penelitian Tingkat keefktifan kinerja IBRA dan proses mengunakan pendekatan subjek dan judul hasil menunujukan bahwa nilai precision memiliki nilai efektif. Sistem tidak menampilkan waktu perolehan data, Sedangkan dalam segi upaya pengguna dalam penggunaan IBRA masih kurang, tidak ditemukannya menu help. Selain itu Tampilan sistem temu kembali perpustakaan SD Muhammadiyah Sapen cukup menarik, sehingga penguna akan merasa senang dan nyaman ketika memggunakan OPAC. Cakupan koleksi yang ditampilkan IBRA cukup lengkap lengkap. Terdapat pdf, tampilan sampul, data bibliografi. Namun belum menampilkan abstrak.

Abstract

Salah satu konsekuensi pergantian kurikulum di jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah adalah pergantian buku pelajaran yang akan digunakan oleh para siswa. Hal ini tidak jarang merepotkan perpustakaan sekolah, khususnya dalam menyediakan buku pelajaran sesuai kurikulum terbaru dengan anggaran yang cenderung terbatas. Analisis secara mendalam menunjukkan bahwa materi-materi pelajaran kurikulum terbaru tidak jauh berbeda dengan kurikulum sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun tabel pokok bahasan pada beberapa mata pelajaran sesuai Kurikulum 2013 (revisi 2016) jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA)/sederajat. Menggunakan tabel tersebut, pustakawan sekolah dapat membantu para pemustaka untuk memanfaatkan buku pelajaran pada kurikulum sebelumnya (Kurikulum 2013/Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan 2006/Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi 2004) yang masih tersedia di perpustakaan sekolah.

Abstract

This Article about the philosophical value of library buildings in terms of postmodern architectural thought is intended to answer the question of how important principles and values in a building are in the view of postmodern architectural experts, how the development of library buildings in Indonesia in particular. This paper is carried out by analyzing the philosophical values of postmodern architectural experts from various secondary sources. Important principles in preparing the building of a library can be adopted by digging information related to the science of architecture and experts. The expected benefits of this paper are important and aspirational information for research librarians and library workers to produce a further study related to the library building.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how the role of IAIN Curup’s library in the development of the campus scientific community. This study uses a qualitative approach, with qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there are several things that have been done by the IAIN Curup’s Library to show its role in the development of the scientific community, namely providing e-resources; Online research skill training; form a library journal; hold regular FGD activities in the form of scientific discussions and knowledge sharing; and improvement of library facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This article is a concept that aims to answer some problems. They are what factors determine the library users’ needs, how to formulate the ratio of the needs, how the formulation of the ratio of the needs for users of the State Islamic University of Curup and how the collection deviates from the needs. The type of this research is descriptive analysis research. The population of this research is the civitas academic of State Islamic University of Curup in 2017. The process of analysis is done by laying down descriptive concepts so that it could create a formula that can be used to measure the needs of library materials. The minimum amount of library material for the State Islamic University of Curup is 38,516 titles. The deviation occur because of collections damage, collection losses, out-of-date collections, the addition of the number of users, the development of university, and the lending to college employees who are not counted as library’s users.The Library of the State Islamic University of Curup still need to communicate well to its users so that what they need can be recorded and fulfilled by the library.
