Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of leverage, profitability, growth opportunity, and liquidity on cash holding. The subjects in this study were manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 – 2019. The population in this study amounted to 56 companies. After being selected using the purposive sampling method, the research sample consisted of 17 companies and for three periods the number of data was 51. Eviews version 12.0 program was used for data processing. The result of this study indicates that growth opportunity has a significant positive effect on cash holding, while leverage, profitability, and liquidity have no significant effect on cash holding.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of measuring the effect of capital adequacy ratio, net interest margin, non-performing loan, loan to deposit ratio, operational efficiency ratio on the profitability of banking companies listed on the IDX during the 2018-2020 period using firm size as a control variable. Sample selection is done by using purposive sampling technique. Data processing of 32 banking companies use samples carried out using SPSS Statistics 17 software. The results show that net interest margin has a significant effect on bank profitability, operational efficiency ratio has a significant negative effect on bank profitability, but the ratio of capital adequacy, non-performing loan, loan to deposit ratio does not have a significant effect on the profitability of banking companies.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the effects of transformational leadership, entrepreneur orientation, and innovation on SMEs Performance in culinary sub-sector moderated with environmental dynamism. The samples of this study is taken using purposive sampling technique and the sample that meets the criteria is 165 out of 174 total respondent. Data gathering is done using google forms and data processing is done using SPSS version 28.0.1.0 and SmartPLS version 3.3.5. The result of this study shows that transformational leadership, entrepreneur orientation, and innovation positively and significantly affect SMEs performance, while environmental dynamism shows that it can moderate the effect of transformational leadership, entrepreneur orientation, and innovation on SMEs performance. Implication that emerge from this study is the importance of leader’s role and capability in running their business in order to increase its performance.

Abstract

This purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, accounting conservatism, and intellectual capital on earning quality. This research was conducted on primary consumer goods sector company that are listed on IDX from 2018-2020, the samples were selected using purposive sampling method and 33 companies were acquired as valid data. The data collected were processed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and software Eviews 12. The analysis results showed that profitability, liquidity, accounting conservatism, and intellectual capital simultaneously have a significant effect on earning quality. Individually, profitability, liquidity, and intellectual capital do not have effects on earning quality. While, accounting conservatism has a negative effect on earning quality.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, liquidity, cash flow, and sales growth toward cash holding on the miscellaneous industrial sectors and consumer goods industry firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2019. The sample used in this study is 102 samples. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. The hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. This study used EViews 12 for processing the data. The results of this study indicate that profitability has a significant positive effect on cash holding, meanwhile other variable which are leverage, liquidity, cash flow, and sales growth have no significant effect on cash holding.

Abstract

This research’s purpose is to see if VF is effected by GCG and CSR, this research is made due to the results that the author has read from the previous research, where in some cases resulted GCGhas an effect towards VF and in some other case only CSR has an effect towardsVF. Thus the author decided to create this research in hope to clear the fluctuation of the previous research, the author hopes that this research can help investors that want to invest their funds and also the people reading this article The sample of the research is picked using the purposive sampling method thus leaving 4 Government banks. Based on the Multiple linier regression it can be concluded that GCG has a positive impact on Value of the Firm and CSR also has a positive impact on VF.

Abstract

Seeing the phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has resulted in changes in the work patterns of many banks in Indonesia. The presence of COVID 19 is able to change the current pattern of bank operations in Indonesia. The financial performance of a company is a measure of the company's profits or losses in a certain period of time. Which could be issues related to banking risk management such as exchange rate risk, operational risk and interest rate risk. To raise arguments about how risk affects financial performance can reduce the probability of bankruptcy and provide greater stability of banking. This study aims to determine the effect of the dependent variable on financial performance as measured by return on assets and return on equity and the independent variable net interest income, average asset turnover, total operating expense, interest over years, exchange rate. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of operational risk on financial performance in the banking industry listed on the IDX.

Abstract

Adaptation in Universities during the pandemic certainly affects human resources performance. This study aims to develop a model of organizational commitment in Universitas Tidar based on the foci commitment in order to improve human resources performance. Foci commitment consists of commitment to the institution, commitment to leaders, commitment to colleagues, and commitment to customers in this case are students. The population of this study was all human resources both lecturers and educational staff. The sample of respondents used was 102 based on the cluster sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire. This study used a Structural Equation Model (SEM) as the data analysis method. The results showed that the proposed model was fit and all hypotheses were accepted. The results of the research are expected to become a consideration and evaluation for policymakers to formulate appropriate policies to increase organizational commitment and human resources performance at Universitas Tidar.

Abstract

Tourist areas that have enough objects and attractions will have the potential to be developed. The exploitation of tourism potential and opportunities into an industry is expected to increase the income of the community and the region. The research sample of this analysis is the coast at Kalianda of South Lampung. The problem studied in this paper is the implementation of promotional strategies that need to be done in improving tourism management. This study aims to determine the implementation of tourism promotion strategies and supporting factors. Research with (field research) is qualitative, data collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. While the analysis uses qualitative analysis (non-statistics) which is descriptive qualitative, by using inductive thinking. Based on the results of research in the coast at Kalianda of South Lampung, accordance with tourism promotion strategy in the perspective of Islamic economics that is honesty, sincerity and trust, and seen from the ethics of promotion in Islam also not sell out an oath, not to promise, honest, Avoid fraud and be willing to profit a little but a blessing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between work discipline, organizational culture on employee performance either partially or jointly in PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Branch Jagorawi. Results of analysis that Work Discipline positive effect on employee performance, with a very strong degree of correlation values. influence the value of the (R) of 0.871, the contribution of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.759 or 75.9%. Organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance, with a very strong degree of correlation values. influence the value of the (R) of 0.915, the contribution of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.838 or 83.8%. And Discipline of Work and Organisational Culture jointly have a positive influence on employee performance, with a very strong degree of correlation values. influence the value of the (R) of 0.920, the contribution of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.847 or 84.7% indicates the significance of the effect given by the Discipline of Work and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance. ANOVA analysis showed that the obtained value obtained Fvalue of 283.961 greater value to Ftable 3.940 at alpha (α) 5% = (267.551> 3.940) means there is a rejection of H0. It means that the variable labor discipline and organizational culture together significantly affect employee performance variables, and there is a very strong influence of the value stated.
