Abstract

Mastery of a foreign language is very important. The increasingly close relations between nations requires the availability of foreign language skills to meet communication needs. Moreover, there are often difficulties or difficulties experienced by foreign language learners with a mother tongue background who have a language system that is not the same as a foreign language system. The purpose of knowing the process morfofonemik in the Java Language and the Arabic language. Types of library research or library research, which takes a data source in the literature. This study includes the type of qualitative research. The research explained the data and then analyzed systematically. The results and findings of the study that the process of morphophonology in the Java language occur because of the appearance of phonemes, pelesapan phonemes, leaching phonemes and shifting phonemes. Whereas in Arabic occurs phonemeal dissolution, phoneme changes, the addition of phonemes and shifting phonemes. The equation of the process morfofonemik between the two languages, namely the same-the same happened phoneme dissolution, while the difference is in the Arabic language does not occur appearance and leaching phonemes as in the language of Java. Implications this study has contributed to the ease of learning in the mastery of foreign languages by learners of a foreign language, namely Arabic.

Abstract

Students who choose to continue their studies in the IAIN Arabic education study program Curup face difficulties in learning Arabic. One of the difficulties faced is the difficulty in understanding Arabic reading, the feeling of being bored and the lack of a communicative atmosphere in learning. This in turn results in their ability to read Arabic. one of the solutions that must be done by the IAIN Curup Arabic education study program to overcome the above problems is by evaluating and improving the muthala'ah curriculum, in which one of the elements of the curriculum is the learning goal. The method used in this study is qualitative. In accordance with the problems studied, this study uses a case study. Choose a case study design because the study focuses on one program, namely reading comprehension. The results of this study are that the muthala'ah learning objectives in the Arabic IAIN Curup education study program include literal reading, interpretive reading, critical reading and creative reading consisting of competency standards and basic competencies.

Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the meaning of the application of the semantic theory of the first three verses of Surat al-Nas. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the meanings of words in terms of context. The choice of these words, and to identify the linguistic function in the use of words and composition in these verses in the communication of meaning and usefulness, and stand on the moral characteristic of the three words in the theory of semantic fields. Of the choice of these three words (Lord, King, God) to indicate God is to arrange the reasons that show that God Almighty to the people and worshiped him. And each linguistic element fits and helps the expression of this meaning, and the use of words in these verses with this structure helps to indicate the meaning of order of reason and the greatness of the components of the sura. The whole word is put into a special meaning and installed in a special structure to look at its own characteristic.

Abstract

A poet often uses the style of language in composing poetry in order to achieve the desired beauty. Likewise with one of the famous Arab poets in the modern era, namely Nizar Qabbani. He often uses language styles, one of which is the figurative language style, to compose verses in his poems. One of his works which contains a lot of this style of figurative language is his poem entitled "Mansyūrātun Fidāiyyatun ā Al Judrāni Isrāīl". This study aims to analyze the style of figurative language used in the poem. In this study, researchers used stylistic analysis, to be able to find out the types of figurative language used by poets. The results of this study indicate that poets use several kinds of figurative language styles, namely equation or simile (tasybīh), metaphor or isti’ārah, antonomasia or kināyah, pars pro toto (majāz mursal juz’iyyah), irony and cynicism. The most figurative style of speech used by poets is the style of equality or simile (tasybīh), irony and cynicism. This is because the poem is a criticism and representation of expressions of bitterness, anger, and disappointment of the Palestinian people both towards Israel, America, and other world communities.

Abstract

In learning Arabic, each student will experience difficulties in the learning process. The difficulties faced by these students will affect the process of acquiring and absorbing the knowledge channeled by the instructor. Some of the effects of these difficulties are the existence of errors in understanding the rules of writing letters (Imla '), the rules of compilation of sentences (Nahwu), the process of word formation and so forth. To overcome errors in language acquisition in learning Arabic, the theory of contrastive analysis and error analysis in learning Arabic was born. Contrative analysis aims to predict the difficulties students will face in the learning process. While error analysis aims to understand the nature of errors that occur. However, in fact error analysis is the result of reflection from contrastive analysis and complementary to one another in realizing effective Arabic learning.

Abstract

The skill of speaking Arabic is a demand in the campus world and after graduation as a form of readiness to enter the workforce in the global era. Teaching kalam with the debate method for students besides being able to improve ability also adds courage as a form of self-efficacy. Students with Self-regulated learning can complete lecture obligations properly and can participate in extra debate activities as a means of self-development. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy for adult students in Arabic learning especially debate program. The subject of this study are 7 students who had participated in the National or International Arabic debate competition. The study used a descriptive qualitative research type of case study-retrieval of data through interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that 78% of their success is influenced by the existence of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy in the debate. The strategy of learning debate by using native speaker videos that are studied independently by each member. Then each member displays the results of their training day in front of the senior.

Abstract

Specifically, this study discuss about “Qowaid” role in Arabic Language in forming reading skill in student class I Senior High School Hikmatussyarif Nahdhotul Wathan Salut Narmada West of Nusa Tenggara. Significances of this article is to know instruction process “Qowaid” of Arabic Language and to forming reading skill in student Class I Senior High School Hikmatussyarif Nahdhotul Wathan Salut Narmada West of Nusa Tenggara. As for research study method in this article use Qualitative method, “Qowaid” instruction has done it well according to effective steps because existence of some components of teacher instruction, student, hand book, material, time, instruction strategy, instruction media and evaluation. And “Qowaid” instruction has seen from student skill, they have come up with the target of study which have been determined, they read some Arabic references without “harakat” and also they can write it well.

Abstract

Nahwu is a very important science in learning Arabic because it contains Arabic rules and grammar. So far there are still many Arabic language learners who have not understood the foundation of the formation of nahwu. This article aims to examine more about the foundation of the established nahwu science. The method used in this study is the library research method, which is a series of activities relating to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. The results of this study are that the nahwu rules that we have known so far are not necessarily available and available, but have been formulated with hard work and high precision by nahwu experts through four sources are the sama ', ijma’, qiyas and istishab.

Abstract

This research discusses the Arab study levels for general purposes and from the perspective of cognitive and emotional intelligence. This research is phenomenal in Indonesia and is one of the qualitative approach of the genus phenomenon. That the levels are divided into three sections I, which is special for the new learners who participate in the programs of teaching the Arabic language, like any language of teaching to non-native speakers without knowledge of the language or familiarity with them. The conversation at this level is limited to the memorization of these students models of the correct Arab conversation and its topics are usually specific. There is no way to diversify the attitudes of the student. Level Two the highest level of precedent The conversation at this level usually revolves around broader topics, more complex issues, and more abstract consensus. At this level, the conversation revolves around topics and ideas. Students study in specific texts, from which they draw ideas woven around them, issues they discuss, and simple problems that exchange views. Level Three This represents the highest level of conversation in the teaching of Arabic as a second language. At this level, learners are expected to practice conversation in the sense that we have taken for conversation in that it is an automatic free discussion on a given subject and two individuals conversing. The student at this level usually has extensive linguistic experience and the ability to use syntax correctly. Understanding different versions of one expression and putting each of them in the right place.

Abstract

The need for Arabic language teaching materials is very important in achieving learning objectives. A teacher, student and material is an inseparable unit for success in a learning process. The purpose of what and how the position of teaching materials in learning; includes the role for teachers, students, in classical, individual, and group learning. Principles for the development of Arabic teaching materials; Principles of Socio-Culture, Psychological Principles, and Principles of Language and Education. Then how about the character and steps of developing Arabic teaching materials.Type of library research or library research, which takes data sources from theories in literature. The implications of this study have contributed to the ease of a teacher to develop teaching materials that will be applied to students by paying attention to the principles and characters of the teaching material, namely Arabic.
