Abstract

This paper present about the Arabic learning curriculum in universities in Indonesia. It discusses about curriculum concept in college from its history, that have changed from the past until now. Then, it discusses about Arabic learning viewed from learning concept and Arabic language it self. Then, the last point, the writer tried to discuss about Arabic learning curriculum in universities viewed from the aims and the learning process. This paper aims to give understanding and description about Arabic learning curriculum of universities by analyzing the curriculum that being used or facts about curriculum in universities. The writer finds that the Arabic learning curriculum in universities shows that Arabic learning depends on the learning it self in curriculum whether it as the aims of curriculum or as a tool to realize the aim of curriculum.

Abstract

Understanding of tashrif is one part in Arabic, everybody cannot understand a vocabulary or even an Arabic sentence without if not understanding tashrif. So, write this article to analyze the urgency of tashrif in Arabic. The method used in this research is literature study, which is reading every reference related to research focus. The research findings show that tashrif is important in understanding mufradat, because with one word tashrif can be formed some other mufradat. Likewise tashrif important in understanding the sentence, because in the sentence sentence there are two words or more the same origin he said but it has different meaning. In addition, the urgency of tashrif can also be seen in the sense of Arabic texts, because one word in Arabic can be shaped into several different words.

Abstract

This paper aimed to research about Badi’ style in al-Qur’an’s passages. This research used one aspects of Balaghah, tauriyah, and spoke about al-Qur’an’s passages which contains tauriyah style dan the secret behind its using. The objects of this research come from al-Qur’an’s passages using style of language/balaghah analysis, especially Ilmu Badi’ which concentrated to beauty of meaning (muhassinaat ma’nawiyyah) and importance of understanding tauriyah for another studies focused their object based on al-Qur’an, directly or not. This paper find that there are at least 10 passages which contains tauriyah in al-Qur’an, they are al-Baqarah: 143, al-An’am: 60, at-Taubah: 21, Yunus: 92, Yusuf: 42, Yusuf: 96, Thaha: 5, adz-Dzariyat: 47, ar-Rahman: 6 and al-Ghasiyah: 8. This number of passages erase the old paradigm that recognite only 3 passages in al-An’am: 60, Thaha: 5 and adz-Dzariyat: 47. Understanding tauriyah became important in Tafsir studiy and isthinbatu’l ahkaam in Ushu’l Fiqh field, even became one of obligatory requirements for mujtahid.

Abstract

Needs analysis in curriculum development is necessary to assess and identify the needs of Arabic and community teachers in curriculum development, as curriculum development is essentially oriented to the needs of Arabic language teachers and the needs of the community, including the needs of the subject. Needs analysis is also used to identify the incompatibility between the performance of the desired Arabic teacher and the performance of the real Arabic teacher. In the school system Needs analysis is needed to find curriculum deficiencies that involve school community collaboration and understanding of school programs for improvement. The purpose of the curriculum needs analysis is to find the right solution to solve the curriculum problem. One of the basic assumptions of curriculum development in education should be based on student needs analysis. The procedure used to collect information about student needs is known as needs analysis. The method of needs analysis in curriculum development is made to be able to measure the level of gap that occurs in student learning from what is expected and what has been obtained. The conclusions obtained in the analysis are: the needs of the curriculum is a formal process to determine the distance or gap between what exists and how should be from a curriculum, the priority of the main problem and then solved the problem. Needs analysis is a constructive and positive tool for making changes based on rational logic, functional changes that can meet the needs of citizens, groups and individuals.

Abstract

This study deals with the teaching of reading skills and its difficulty in the high school Air Bangis in West Pasaman. The research methodology in this study is qualitative field research in analytical type. The problems in the process of teaching reading skills in the government high school Air Bangis in West Pasaman, the teacher lack of interest in the use of teaching aids to achieve the desired goals in the teaching of reading, and do not have exercises to develop the skill of reading for students, but exercises in the textbook. And the lack of interest of the teacher to defend students in the teaching of the Arabic language. In the process of teaching reading skills, the difficulties in terms of pupils, including: teams of intelligence, and lack of tendencies of some students in teaching, and the background of their upbringing. And their difficulties in terms of teachers of the Arabic language, including lack of interest in the use of the various educational method, lack of resources on the teaching of modern Arabic. These comprehensive problems need treatment, it is the teacher's interest in the teaching curriculum, and the teacher to design teaching in the teaching of reading skills in this school.

Abstract

This article discusses the social environment and its place in the teaching of speech skills among students at the Maâ'had Hubb al-Wathan Duri Riau. The purpose of this research is to find out the status of the social environment at the Ma'had Hubb al-Wathan Duri Riau and its effects on the teaching of skill to speak to students at the Ma'had Hubb al-Wathan Duri Riau. The approach in this is analytical qualitative field research. The social environment around the Ma'had Hubb al-Wathan Duri Riau is a milieu environment the Malay society around the Ma'had Hubb al-Wathan Duri Riau. The ability to speak is the ability of students to good speech skills in the classroom was or outside the pronunciation of the words of the Arab and the tone and tone, and upgrade their ability, the teacher and supervisor of the Institute around the Institute, including the daily conversation in two languages and give the vocabulary and the Declaration and the operative and the lecture in three languages, but the environment around the Institute did not Supports students ability to speak Arabic and it affects students' ability to speak well. From these situations, the writer found that the social environment affects the promotion of speech skills. And the formation of the linguistic environment indicates its impact on the ability of students to upgrade the skill of speech. Keyword: social environment, education, speech skills

Abstract

The study of language pathology has been going on longer and developing with the development of language studies, the problems encountered in learning speaking skills are often related to speech skills which sometimes enter the language pathology area which requires educator knowledge especially the interference of Arabic learners. This study aims to analyze speech problems and language in the classical study represented by Al-Jahiz seen through the perspective of modern linguistics. This study uses a qualitative approach with library data sources, descriptive analysis is done by reading the content and analyzed. The results showed that Al-Jahiz's views were divided into speech disorders and language disorders; lusghah, luknah, lahn and ayy. Jahiz saw lahn as the worst speech disorder, and he assumed that in lahn is not only caused by articulation factors and motor aphasia but can also be driven by personal factors to replace sounds that are difficult to pronounce with light sounds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms and rules of formation of political terms in Arabic language examined from the morphological aspects. This type of research is literature research. Data collection using direct observation method. Data analysis using top down method of distribution technique and data presentation using informal method. The results of this study show the form of political terms in Arabic consists of the form of words and phrases. The word form consists of nouns and verbs, either in the basic form of the word or affixation. The form of phrase consists of tarkib idhafi, verbal phrases, nominal phrases, jarr majrur and tarkib wasfi. The rule formation of Arabic political terms viewed from the morphological aspect consists of: a) the derivation of masdar, isim fā'il, isim maf'ūl, isim makān b) absorption, c) translation.

Abstract

Content analysis is a method to study and analyze something that systemically and objectively on the message that appears. The contents of textbooks are a source of material in the learning process. Therefore, textbooks must be in accordance with the applicable curriculum. In the context of education in Indonesia, the current curriculum is the 2013 curriculum with a scientific approach. This study sought to find out the content of the material (hiwar and qira’ah) of Arabic students' books 2013 curriculum of the grade XII MA published by the Ministry of Religion and its suitability with the 2013 curriculum which consisted of four Core Competencies which became the perspective. The approach used is a qualitative-descriptive approach using documentation and content analysis methods as a tool for collecting and analyzing data. The results of this study is indicate material content (hiwar and qira’ah) in accordance with the 2013 curriculum content standard. The details are as follows: 1) the first chapter of the more prominent aspects is the realm of spiritual attitude and knowledge; 2) chapter two, Knowledge and Skills; 3) chapter three, Social Attitudes and Knowledge; 4) chapter four, the domain of Social Attitudes; and 5) Spiritual Attitudes. From the research findings, the social attitude in this book is very minimal. Aspects of diversity, tolerance, pluralism and multiculturalism are not found in the material of the book.

Abstract

One of the constraints of students in learning Arabic is the lack of vocabulary. Students who have vocabulary memorization will be faster in learning Arabic lessons. One model of learning in teaching vocabulary is to use the word guessing model. The media used in studying mufradat/vocabulary should be easy, interesting and efficient to use. Educators are asked to be creative in presenting the media used by students. Crossword software is an application that can be used in making vocabulary learning media. This application can help educators in making crossword puzzles and guess words automatically, so the making of media for vocabulary teaching does not take too long and think hard because it is made manually. This application can automatically compile words that match the questions and answers provided by educators. Cross-sectional media or guess words, not only can be used when Arabic lessons take place in class but can be done independently by students. For educators making variations in presenting the form of questions is something that must be considered, so that students become interested and feel happy to use this media.
