Abstract

Education in the digital era requires the integration of technology into learning to enhance students' digital literacy, which is crucial for addressing the challenges of globalization. The low level of digital literacy in Indonesia, including at SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, makes it necessary to innovate, such as the Lynk.id application. Lynk.id is a link management platform developed to integrate various links into one platform and function as an adaptive e-learning tool for modern education. This research examines the implementation of Lynk.id in mathematics learning based on the Independent Curriculum with a focus on teacher activities, student activities, and student responses. Using a quasi-experimental design with two groups, data collection was conducted using tests, observations, and questionnaires. Pretest-posttest digital literacy scores were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that teacher activity scored 7.48 (very good), student activity averaged 7.35 (very good), and student responses scored 122.19 (very good). Furthermore, Lynk.id has been proven to increase students' digital literacy significantly. Thus, the integration of Lynk.id in Merdeka Curriculum mathematics learning can improve students' digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mathematical literacy ability of Grade XI vocational school students in Sumedang Regency in solving geometry problems. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through written tests, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the average mathematical literacy ability of students was classified as adequate, with 65% of students falling into this category. The highest indicator of mathematical literacy ability was recognizing mathematical components in real-life problems (70%), while the lowest was evaluating and interpreting mathematical results (30%). Students faced challenges in solving geometry problems, such as errors in using formulas, ineffective problem-solving strategies, and a lack of interpretation of results. These difficulties highlight the importance of integrating real-life context-based problems into learning to enhance students' mathematical literacy ability. Such an approach helps students better understand and apply mathematical concepts meaningfully. This study emphasizes the need to address these challenges by designing targeted instructional methods. By incorporating practical examples and offering comprehensive support, educators can help students overcome their weaknesses. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing effective teaching methods aimed at improving students’ mathematical literacy, enabling them to apply mathematics confidently in real-world contexts.

Abstract

Technological skills in Indonesian society need to be trained in order to be socially competent and able to face challenges in the future. The gap that occurs at this time is the rapid development of technology so that human resources are not ready to optimize it properly. The author designs Canva-assisted interactive learning media integrated with the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated and Reading Composition) learning model so that students as one of the human resources can be motivated in significant technological developments. This research uses a Design Research approach with the stages of Preliminary Study, Formative Evaluation and Summative Evaluation. This research was conducted in one of the Junior High Schools in Cianjur Regency. After a series of stages were carried out, the responses given by students to the media developed in the visual group were in the average range of 4-5. This shows that the learning media developed gets a good response and is feasible to use in learning mathematics, especially building materials. It is hoped that this media can be developed on other materials and can motivate other math teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to review the impact of Wordwall on students’ mathematical representation skills and learning outcomes through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Seventeen articles published between 2018 and 2024 were selected as research objects, focusing on the implementation of Wordwall in mathematics learning at the elementary and junior high school levels. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish application to search databases with the keywords “Wordwall,” “learning outcomes,” and “mathematical representation,” followed by a relevance-based screening process according to inclusion criteria. The data were analyzed thematically by categorizing studies based on their focus, comparing findings, and synthesizing key results. The review reveals that Wordwall consistently has a favorable and noteworthy impact on students' visual, symbolic, and verbal mathematical representations as well as their overall learning outcomes. Furthermore, Wordwall serves not just as an engaging quiz tool but also as a core pedagogical component that guides learning, increases motivation, and enhances active participation, indicating its potential as an effective and flexible digital learning medium to improve conceptual understanding in mathematics.
