Abstract

Background: Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the world. Family support can help improve an individuals coping mechanisms by providing emotional support and advice on alternalif strategies based on previous experiences. Anxiety is a vague uneasy feeling of discomfort or fear accompanied by a response (the cause is not specific or is unknown to the individual). This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and anxiety levels in clients with coronary heart disease. Methods: This study uses chi square test with analytic design with cross sectional approach and Accidental Sampling technique. Result: There is a relationship between family support and anxiety levels in clients with coronary heart disease with p-value 0.033 (p0.05). Recommendation: Langsa Hospital in order to can improve services for coronary heart disease patients who experience anxiety, especially at the Cardiology Clinic, by providing more sources of information about disease conditions and treatment, as well as holding psychological counseling about their anxiety. In addition, nurses at the Cardiology Polyclinic of Langsa Hospital can improve the quality of nursing care for patients with coronary heart disease who experience moderate and severe levels of anxiety. By taking a supportive approach such as counseling and providing explanations about the disease and anxiety, to improve the patient's coping mechanisms.

Abstract

Background: According to the 2017 IDHS, in 2016 an estimated 620.000 thousand people were living with HIV AIDS (PLWHA), around 48.000 people with new HIV sufferers and about 38.000 deaths related to HIV/AIDS. Methods: This study used a review study and descriptive statistical analysis to know the description of the characteristics of Indonesian knowledge, attitudes and behavior about HIV/AIDS. The data source in this study is secondary data from the Demographic and Health Survey 2017. The data used are secondary data that has been analyzed univariately in the form of a percentage then reviewed with some research literature and then summarized into a series of information describing the characteristics of knowledge, attitudes and behavior about AIDS. Result: Percentage of married women and men who had heard about HIV/AIDS, respectively 82.4% (49.627 respondents) and 82.9% (10.009 respondents). As many as 79% of women refuse to have sexual relations with their husbands if they know that their husbands have had sex with other women and 75.1% ask their husbands to use condoms when having sex if they know that their husbands have an STI. As many as 85.1% of women and 85.7% of men have a discriminatory attitude towards people with HIV/AIDS. The behavior of married men who had paid for sexual intercourse 3.7%, who paid for sexual intercourse in the last 12 months was 0.9%. Based on the level of education and wealth of both women and men, the higher the level of education and wealth, the better the knowledge, attitudes and behavior will be. Based on sources of information about HIV/AIDS, both women and men get the most information from television. Recommendation: It is recommended that health workers be able to provide more education on HIV/AIDS with various methods of approach.

Abstract

The habit of drinking alcohol among teenagers is a phenomenon that often occurs in Indonesia. Many factors cause them to use their free time to drink liquor. Alcoholic drinks are all types of alcoholic beverages. Containing ethanol which are processed from agricultural products materials containing carbohydrates by means of fermentation and distillation, whether by pre-treating or not, adding other ingredients or not, or processed with by mixing concentrate with alcohol or by diluting a drink containing ethanol. The data collection method used in this research is to collect as much research data as possible from journals, articles, and other scientific writings. The purpose of this collection is to find the best research results that can be obtained by comparing more than two research results, articles, and journals with the similar theme, without the researcher having to do another research. Excessive alcohol consumption can cause negative effects to health such as brain tissue damage, liver disease, digestive system disorders, pancreatic gland disorders, muscle system disorders, sexual disorders, and fetal development disorder, as well as endocrine system disorders, nutritional metabolic system disorders, cancer risk, and metabolic disorders of the body.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Menyusui merupakan amanah dari Allah kepada para ibu untuk anaknya karena manfaatnya yang sangat besar bagi kelangsungan hidup dan perkembangan anak di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi ibu dalam perekonomian keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif. Metode: Studi ini merupakan analisis lanjut data SDKI 2017, dengan sampel 13.636 ibu berusia 15-49 tahun yang memiliki bayi berusia 0-6 bulan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi logistik ganda dan diolah dengan SPSS versi 24. Hasil: Partisipasi ibu dalam perekonomian keluarga dapat meningkatkan peluang pemberian ASI eksklusif, dimana ibu yang bekerja berpeluang 1.5 kali lebih besar untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif pada bayinya (p=0.000; 95% CI=1.420-1.707) dibanding ibu yang tidak bekerja. Partisipasi ibu dalam bidang ekonomi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Saran: Dukungan khusus seperti istirahat untuk menyusui atau memerah ASI, ruangan khusus untuk menyusui dan informasi tentang manajemen laktasi serta dukungan personal dari rekan kerja atau atasan sangat diperlukan oleh ibu bekerja untuk meningkatkan motivasi pemberian ASI dan mempertahankan produksi ASI.

Abstract

Background: Coronavirus is a new type of virus that has been found in humans, first reported in Wuhan China, in December 2019. In Indonesia as of August 18, 2021, there were 3.908.247 confirmed positive case, 121.141 deaths and 3.443.903 recoveries. In Aceh, there were 37.797 confirmed case, 1.707 in treatment, 34.148 recovered cases and 1.937 deaths. Methods: This research is descriptive in nature to see a picture of family food security during the Covid 19 pandemic. A sample of 70 people, was carried out in total population. Result: The results of the data on the frequency distribution of family food security during the Coid-19 pandemic in Aceh Province showed that in the last 4 weeks there were worries that there was not enough food in the household (55.7%), never in the household could not eat the preferred type of food due to lack of resources (75.7%), never household members felt limited to eating various types of food due to lack of resources (80.0%), never had a household members eat food that they didn't want to eat because of limited resources to get other types of food (85.7%), never mothers or other family members ate small portions for fear of not having enough for other family members (88.6%), there was once a family member who ate less food in a day because there was not enough food (90.0%), never in the household did not have food supplies to eat due to lack of resources to get food (91.4%), never had any family member sleep at night hungry because there is not enough food (97.1%), there has never been any family member who went from morning to night without eating anything because they felt there was not enough food (97.1%). Recommendation: It is hoped that through the role of nutritionists in providing media containing information about family food security in order to increase the knowledge of the population in Aceh Province regarding family food security.
