Abstract

Performance measurement of airport BP Batam as the only airport in Batam, comprehensively and continuously need to continue to do so that the parties can know the condition of the Airport management achievement of its performance, evaluate and subsequently a chance to take a strategic decision as well as operational in order to create improved service and performance improvements in the future.The purpose and objective of this research are: (1) To know the influence of the quality of the service for customers satisfaction at the airport Hang Nadim Batam, (2) to know the levels of customers satisfaction at the airport Hang Nadim Batam. From the results of data processing using regression analysis , get the conclusion that, the biggest impact on customer satisfaction is derived from dimension Reliability, Assurance, Tangible, Emphaty and Responsiveness. The influence of service quality on customer satisfaction was at 48 %, and other factors beyond the quality of the service, an influential amounting to 52 %. There is a direct relationship between significant variable quality of service with customer satisfaction, on average 77% declare satisfied, with the sequence of service quality is responsivenes ( 85 % ) , tangible ( 80 % ) , reliability ( 80 % ) , assurance ( 78 % ), and empaty ( 73 % ). Generally average the satisfaction of passengers and users bandara Hang Nadim , was in the category of 3 ( quite satisfied ). Interval in this category is at the level of 0.75 to 0.99

Abstract

In the world of technology, found the smell detection sensor or gas sensor would be very helpful in the industrial world. Some kind of a drink right now is mostly a mixture of chemicals that are harmful to our bodies. ALKOHOL is one such example. Detector ALKOHOL content in the beverage ALKOHOL utilizing young evaporated. The sensor used is TGS2600, TGS2620, and AF63. Where the sensor is very sensitive to the ALKOHOL. In general, the sensor will change its resistance when exposed to ALKOHOL vapors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of the stock of property and real estate property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange by using analysis of NAPS, ROE and EPS as a basis for decision making for equity investments. The sample was two property and real estate companies listed consistently in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2006-2008, PT. Jaya Real Property, Tbk. and PT. Suryamas Dutamakmur, Tbk. Analytical techniques used in this study was NAPS (Net Asset Per Share), ROE (Return on Equity) and EPS (Earning Per Share). The results of the analysis of NAPS, ROE and EPS in each company, in 2008, the first good investment should be done at PT. Jaya Real Property, Tbk as the performance of the company showed a tendency to hold up steadily. Then, investments can be made in PT. Suryamas Dutamakmur, Tbk. Factors to consider in the application of equity investment in Indonesia is the condition of the market, which is the market price is determined by the strength of demand or supply and changes in the company of potential risks.

Abstract

Tax planning is an ways to minimize taxes payable. Good tax planning is to take advantage of the rules relating to the tax savings sought. Basically all types of taxes can be made tax planning. One is an employee or a tax known as the income tax article 21. Employee income tax treatment of most companies deducted from income by employees, some with given tax benefits and partly paid by the employer choosing those alternatives are part of tax planning. Employee income tax paid by the employer will add to the cost of the company so it needs a review to reducing costs. This study aimed to examine more about how to reduce the cost of corporate tax if the tax is paid by the company. The trick is to reduce the incomes of employees who are subject to tax to the income which is not the object that is given in the form of facilities or pleasure. The results showed there is a decrease in the overall amount of tax to be paid when the company gives pleasure to all employees who are above the income tax taxable year Rp500.000.000. This is due to the difference in the tax rate of 5% of the corporate income tax rate of 25% personal income tax rate of 30%.

Abstract

Biomedical signals such as heart signals periodically always changing frequencies over time, causing a wave of complexity and heterogeneity. Electrocardiogram (ECG), which is a picture of the heart's electrical potential activity is one of the medical tools that are widely used to make the diagnosis of heart abnormalities. In this study developed an algorithm to detect cardiac abnormalities premature based on the characteristics of ECG signal form the subject of study heart defect Atrial premature contractions (PACs). Testing is done using some data from the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database representing some heart abnormalities PACs. The level of accuracy when testing for R peak detection of 99.30% . While the accuracy of detection of heart abnormalities PACs when testing is 93.74%.

Abstract

Ship tracking position system using GPS (Global Potisioning System) which applied to mobile phone Android operating system and communicates with a web based can monitoring where ship position and defines the location for the purpose mapping the web interface. This application can find the coordinates and send coordinates to server application and can display the position in map.

Abstract

The objective of this research is seeking the best performance of ARIMA Model to predict Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were acquired from IDX weekly statistics published by Indonesia Stock Exchange during 95 weeks. The method used for analysis was Box & Jenkins Method with iterative approach and using E-views Application. The result of this research indicates that the model that can be applied to predict the IHSG is ARIMA (2,1,2).

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to tests the existence of the audit expectation gap between financial statement users and the auditors in Financial Auditing Board (BPK) as well as to identify the underlying components. The study is also to examine the difference in perception on the performance of the auditors in Financial Auditing Board (BPK) between financial statement users with basic accounting education and those without that of accounting. There are two hypotheses, as the writer wants them to test. First, there is an audit expectation gap between the financial statement users and the auditors in Financial Auditing Board (BPK), and second, there is the difference in perception on the performance of the auditors in the Financial Auditing Board (BPK) (deficient performance gap) between the financial statement users with basic accounting education and those without that of accounting. The collected data of the study gained through a survey method. They are primary data obtained from respondents as users of the financial statement of local government such as civil servants in local government, members of the House of Representatives at local levels, academics, credit analysts, and the auditors of Financial Auditing Board (BPK) in Yogyakarta. The hypotheses examined by using the Chi Square, Mann-Whitney U test and the T-Test Independent Sample. Result of the hypotheses examination indicates that the financial statement users had understanding more than the auditors did and difference in perception was significant. The financial statement users understand that the auditors have duties ideally more than their actual ones. The examination of the second hypothesis shows that there was a significant difference in perception on the performance of the auditors of Financial Auditing Board (BPK). The perception of financial statement users without that of accounting on the performance of the auditors in the Financial Auditing Board (BPK) tended to be “good”, while those with that of accounting tended to be “poor”. This research concluded as follows: first, there was audit expectation gap between the financial statement users and the auditors of Financial Auditing Board (BPK); second, there was the difference in perception on the performance of the auditors of Financial Auditing Board (BPK) between the financial statement users with that of accounting and those without that of accounting

Abstract

Logika Fuzzy banyak diartikan sebagai logika samar, logika ini berguna untuk sistem kontrol yang memerlukan keputusan tidak hanya seperti logika biner 1 dan 0 saja akan tetapi diantara 1 dan 0. Sehingga jika diaplikasikan pada sistem kontrol akan menghasilkan respons yang fleksibel dan akurat. Seperti yang disimulasikan pada pengereman kendaraaan bermotor, tidaklah mungkin kendaraan bermotor akan mengerem = 1 dan tidak mengerem = 0, akan tetapi ada kalanya akan melakukan pengereman soft, medium dan hard. Logika Fuzzy pada penelitian ini diaplikasikan pada Microcontroller yang memiliki kelebihan bentuknya kecil, arus yang digunakan kecil dan memiliki sifat dapat diprogram seperti komputer. Jenis Microcontroller yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Arduino Uno dengan chip ATMega328, dan memanfaatkan Memory sebesar 8Kb dari kapasitas maksimum 32Kb memory pada chip ATMega328. Program dapat berjalan dengan baik dengan input berupa jarak dan kecepatan yang masing-masing memiliki 4 membership function untuk jarak dan 3 membership function untuk kecepatan. Dan output berupa presentase pengereman dengan metode singleton dengan 4 membership function.

Abstract

This study aimed to test by simultan on the ethos work and discipline work to organizational performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang, to test by parsial on the ethos work and discipline work to organizational performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang and to know variable is which most dominant have an effect on to organizational performance offectiveness at at PT. Pos (Persero) Malang. This research use approach of explanatory research. Dependent variable are X1 is ethos work and X2 is work discipline and independent variable (Y) is organizational performance effectiveness. Questionery, interview, and observation method used in this study with the number of respondents of 60 people. Double linear regression was used to analyze variables by using statistic program (SPSS). The result of research indicates that: a) by simultan, ethos work and work discipline have an effect on to organizational performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang. b). by partial, ethos work and work discipline have an effect on to organizational performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang c). Pursuant to coefficient value of regression among ethos work variable and work discipline, hence variable having dominant influence to organization performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang is work discipline, where its coefficient value equal to 0,400. This matter can be concluded that work discipline is variable having influence most dominant to organizational performance effectiveness at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang.
