Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out data/factors that cause lack of productivity; knowing the model of the relationship and the influence of accuracy, compensation, leadership, and the environment on emplooye productivity; and to find out the design/solution to increase the productivity of inspectors. The method used in completing this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. From the result of the research that has been done it is known that Accuracy (X1); Leadership (X3); and Work Environment (X4) significantly influence Productivity (Y1) except Compensation (X2). And the most influential variable Productivity (Y1) is Leadership (X3) with percentage of 50,4% and the lowest is Accuracy(X1) with a percentage of 20,1%.

Abstract

Gerandong crackers are different types of crackers with other crackers, the main ingredients gerandong crackers derived from the ready-made crackers, gerandong crackers production process consists of several stages one of which is the dust filter stage. At this stage use the filter tool. In terms of use, this tool is working properly. However, this tool is still not effective, it needs to be redesigned on the tool to improve. The results of this study include: Improving the design of dust filters in the process of making gerandong crackers in terms of how to use reverse engineering methods. From design that can be expected can be repaired from dust filter tool. Recommendations to reduce air pollution are less effective. The Efforts to improve the design of dust filter equipment in this study using reverse engineering methods assisted by CAD (Computer Aided Design), in this case solidwork software and will be integrated with Root Cause Analisys. The result of this research is a new design of dust filter tool that is practical and effective, practically not doing a lot of arrangement and switching tool when will production, effective in reducing dust when production and output yielded cleaner than before

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal and external factors that influence development and provide proposals for competitive strategies which are the priority of developing CV Angkasa Jaya. This study uses Strength, Waekness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) methods to identify internal and external factors of the company as well as alternative strategic planning and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) for determining strategic priorities. The results showed that internal and external factors that affected were products, marketing, production processes, the existence of government support, fruit beverage trends, market potential, technology, competition, shifting market tastes, economy and substitute products. Alternative strategies that become priority development strategies that can be applied by CV Angkasa Jaya are to increase the use of production technology and the internet, improve and maintain product quality in order to be able to compete with other products, develop business potential by making product innovations, carry out continuous production processes, improve and maintain market share, increase production capacity and the last priority is to increase promotion.

Abstract

Pusat Pelatihan Mandiri Kelautan dan Perikanan (P2MKP) is a seaweed cultivation business field that located in Jalan Mulawarman Gang Anyer RT.13 No. 44 Manggar, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. The selling method they applied has no specific strategy in marketing, the selling method they applied only provide current needs of customers.Strategy formulation starts with the input stage to formulating the strategy; identify and analyze the factors of internal and external company’s environment. The next stage is the matching stage to result a proper strategy alternative with combining the internal and external factors. The result of IFE and EFE matrix included into IE matrix to detect company location. After the location of company was detected in the IE matrix, then SWOT analysis was required to formulate strategy alternative. The last stage, decision stage, it decides which one will be the priority with using Analysis Hierarchy Process as recommended strategy for the company. It results strategy is;(1) Maintain a relationship with the government to get patent product license, (2) To create an innovation of products with using technology and occur coordination with related instances to get BPOM RI and halal certification, (3) To maintain a cooperation to get government support in widening the marketing area, (4) Increasing production or stocks volume with using technology, (5) To reach the efficient production cost with maintaining the same product price, and the sixth strategy is build the partnerships to increasing the quality of product so the customer value is achieved.

Abstract

One of the keys to a company's success is quality control. PT Artha Food is a manufacturing industry engaged in the processing of cocoa powder trying to improve the quality of its products for customer satisfaction in accordance with the mission of the company, which is to become a world-class company focused on creating added value for consumers. But with the increase in company productivity, consumer complaints are also increasing. The biggest factor of consumer complaints is broken product when sent to the consumer. This resulted in increasing the return of products from consumers resulting in losses for the company because the rejeck product increases. The company will seek to minimize the return from consumers with existing resources so that consumer confidence increases and decreases the rejeck product. In this study, the method used in the quality control of product defects is the quality control circle used to analyze the damaged product. The method is integrated with quality loss fuction to know the producer loss factor By improving the quality with the quality control method circle the average broken product can be minimized from 295.45 kg / month before the improvement to 50 kg / month after the repair process.
