Abstract

There are lots of alternative investing. It is started from investment real assets, securities, from conventional and manifold sharia. Islamic Capital market and conventional have some type securities which have different risk level of risks. A stock is one of securities among other securities that have the high level of risk. One of the risks that exists in the stock is fluctuations price, it is commonly called as volatility. The aim of this research is to identifiy the risk of sharia stock and conventional stock in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) by using Jakarta Islamic Indekx (JII) and LQ45 Indeks variabels. In our research, we use time series started on 1 January 2015 to 10 October 2016 from yahoo finance with ARCH/GARCH and EGARCH models processed by Eview 8. Based on research finding with GARCH and EGARCH, this research tends to EGARCH. The fist finding shows that volatility stock JII lower, 0,075 than LQ45 0,0316. If volatility is higher, it means the stability degree lower. Both of those stocks are dominated by bad news and good news. Between JII and LQ45, the news respon is higher on LQ45. It means the volatility risk impact higher on LQ45. The third finding is the JII forecasting results through EGARCH has refrection proportion JII has smaller 0,194 than LQ45 0,678. It means that JII volatility is lower than LQ45.

Abstract

Jumiang Beach is an interesting marine tourism destination in Pamekasan, Madura. This makes it possible to both improve the quality of environment and enhance local society’s economic life. On the other hand, a bad effect of tourims affects environment due to the bad deed of local people and visitors in expoliting natural resource improperly. The problem of rubbish also takes concern. Through the principle of Blue Economy, the enhancement of ability, innovation and creativity is put into a wish to efficiently boost the use of natural tourism resource. Islam is a comprehensive religoin that it covers every single aspect of life, including the concept of blue economy. The concept is based on some principles including creativity, innovation, local resource use, and the use of recycleable materials into the better management of natural resource. Implementation of the concept is taken from the activities of marine society of Tanjung village at the Jumiang beach consisting of 1) The efficient use of natural resource is through Low CO2 Emission and resources efficient 2) Zero – Waste which leaves no rubbish at all 3) Social solidarity in empowering local people including program socialization, people resuscitation, skill training, community development and so forth. 4) Multiple Revenue in which a person could earn from various occupation.

Abstract

BMT (BMTM) is one of the LKMS that provides Sharia-based financial services. BMTM has not made specific identifications related to the behavior of the target audience which could potentially be a challenge in the future. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely descriptive analysis and Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). The results showed that consumer behavior in BMTM is positive in the utilization of BMTM products. Understanding and positive attitude towards BMTM products is based on the motives of daily necessities and business development. The efforts of BMT in building consumer loyalty to BMT by bringing services closer to the community, increasing the ratio of supervisors and discipline of supervision and developing several products according to community needs, as well as strengthening human resources.

Abstract

The development of financial technology made many changes, including Islamic finance. This paper reviews how fintech is changing the shape of the Islamic finance industry through mobile payments, microfinance, peer-to-peer lending, and crowdfunding. The use of e-wallet is as long as it does not violate the provisions. Microfinance cannot be separated from Islamic finance if we want to increase social welfare through inclusive growth and encourage the distribution of wealth. Islamic microfinance structure can deal with the problem of poverty. The appropriate and fair crowdfunding model for small businesses is profit sharing or using mudaraba contracts. In Islamic finance, the role of bitcoin is controversial.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0, which is currently trending in Indonesia, has made various aspects of people's lives change more advanced and completely based on technology. Therefore, educators are required to produce students who have knowledge, soft skills, and ability in the field of adequate technology. One of the programs prepared by the Economic Education Study Program is the mastery of knowledge of Sharia economic material so that one day graduates can become compatible in various fields of work, especially banking, which is currently rife with Sharia banks. The addition of this knowledge through the development of Sharia economics textbooks conducted by the RND method from Dick and Carey. The results of the pretest-posttest test, expert validation test, small scale test, and large scale test, obtained the results that the textbooks are included in the good category and are suitable for use.

Abstract

Many studies show that one of the biggest challenges in Islamic banking is related to lack of proper and effective Shariah governance. By focusing on the role of Shariah Supervisory Board (SSB), this paper attempts to extract some keys on how to achieve better performance and development of Islamic banking industry by reviewing previous studies. This study was done by using literature review approach. This study concludes that increasing the size of SSB, improving higher skills and competences of SSB members, keeping the independency of SSB member as well as the need of Central Shariah Board (CSB) and shariah auditor would affect to better performance of Islamic banking.

Abstract

One of the marketing strategies at Islamic banks is by building a company's brand image and customer trust to gain customer loyalty. The focus of this research is to show the relationship between brand image, trust and loyalty of Syariah bank customers in Sidoarjo. This study uses a random sampling technique with 100 customers of Islamic banks domiciled in Sidoarjo and at least have become customers of Islamic banks within one year. The analytical method used in this study is a multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS 25 software. The results of this study indicate that if there is an increase in brand image and customer trust will also have an impact on increasing the level of customer loyalty. There is a partial influence of brand image on loyalty and between trust in loyalty, and there is a simultaneous relationship between brand image and trust in customer loyalty of Islamic banks in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the ratio analysis of capital, liquidity, profitability, and non-performing financing (NPF) at KSPPS BTM Surya Umbulharjo Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Source of research data derived from primary and secondary documentation Annual Members Meeting (RAT). The research data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. This approach is used to provide an overview of the financial performance of KSPPS BTM Surya Umbulharjo Yogyakarta. The results showed that the BTM capital ratio during the study period showed a healthy category, the liquidity ratio was in the liquid category, the profitability ratio showed in the low category, and the NPF ratio showed in the sufficient category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) in the annual report of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia for the 2014-2018 period. The method used in selecting the sample in this study was sampling using 55 samples which were determined based on the sample criteria in this study. Hypothesis testing in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. ISR is evaluated based on content analysis by analyzing the annual reports of 11 Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in the 2014-2018 period. The results of this study indicate that, simultaneously, all independent variables have a positive effect on ISR. Firm size has a significant effect on ISR, while company age, profitability, leverage, and cost efficiency have no significant effect on ISR. It does not affect company age, profitability, leverage, and cost efficiency because these variables are not directly related to the ISR disclosure.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the influence of financial technology (FinTech) on Islamic banking from the aspects of benefit, opportunity, cost and risk (BOCR). The research data were obtained through in-depth interviews and questionnaires from respondents which consisted of experts from academia, FinTech practicioners, Islamic banking practitioners and financial services authorities who were chosen by purposive sampling. The data analysis method of this research was Analytical Network Process (ANP) with the BOCR network structure approach. The results show that based on the priority aspects of the respondents' answers, rapid development of the FinTech industry provides positive opportunities for Islamic banking to implement strategic cooperation with the FinTech industry as a customer-oriented integral part.
