Abstract

Imbalance data is a condition which there is a distinction in the quantity of data that results withinside the majority class (classes with very many members) and minority class (classes with very few members). It can complicate the classification process since the machine learning algorithm method is designed to classify already balanced data. The oversampling process technique is used to resolve data imbalance by applying synthetic data to the minority class in such a manner that it has the same volume of data as the majority class. MWMOTE is an oversampling technique that generates synthetic data based on members of the minority class clusters that are close to the majority class. This approach is capable of generating synthetic data well. The resulting synthesis data remains in the nearby majority region and too dense on the border of the cluster. It is hence permitting the resulting synthetic data to go into the majority class classification. This study is objectives to improve the process of generating synthetic data on MWMOTE so that the resulting data is extensively dispensed withinside the minority class. The outcomes of the test show that the proposed method is capable of enhancing the classification performance for KNN and C4.5 Decision Tree classification sequentially by 0.46% and 0.96% compared to MWMOTE

Abstract

Every humanitarian organization needs to raise funds and channel these funds. Distribution of funds from donors is often not in accordance with the programs that have been planned by social service agencies. This study aims to prioritize logistical assistance for flood disasters using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method as a supporting material that can be taken into consideration in making decisions about providing assistance on the crowdfunding platform which is used as an online fundraising medium, the AHP method is used as a supporting material for analyze the reference variables that are considered in making a decision to provide assistance. AHP analysis results recommend the order of potential beneficiaries from the highest priority to the lowest. In determining assisting decisions by sorting prospective recipients based on priority, the AHP method produces a consistency ratio value that is less than 0.1 so it can be concluded that the results of these decisions have consistent characteristics as supporting materials for decision making

Abstract

Data Mining is the process of extracting information or something interesting from the data in the database so as to produce valuable information using techniques such as clustering, estimation, description, and others. Based on observations at AB Mart, there were 44 product items whose data was not revealed. This problem will be solved using data mining analysis. The purpose of this research is to apply market basket analysis to the sale of goods at AB Mart with the a priori algorithm. This research uses a clear structure of the framework, namely problem identification, literature study, data collection, calculation & analysis of association rules with a priori algorithm, forming association rules and making reports. The results of the sales transaction of AB Mart in August resulted in or generated relationships between shopping product items where the% purchase of Pepsodent was 115%, Frisian Flag 96%, Sugar 96%, Indomilk 93%, and Nasi Jempol 91%. The conclusion of this research is using Weka software with a priori algorithm which produces an association relationship between pepsodent goods and the number of transactions purchased

Abstract

Accuracy in calculating exposure in photographic techniques is the key to being able to produce good quality photos. The light calculation includes three elements (Triangel Exposure), namely shutter speed (shutter speed / t), ISO sensitivity, and diaphragm (aperture / f). A light meter is a tool for calculating lighting in the world of photography to accurately calculate the light falling in or around the object to be photographed. The light meter has a working principle like a lux meter calculates the value of light intensity in a place. However, on a light meter for photography, there is a calculation of a triangle exposure in it. This light meter prototype uses an ATMega328 microcontroller on the Arduino Nano V3 with the help of a TSL2561 light sensor and a TCS34725 RGB color sensor. Tests were carried out by comparing the output value using an original light meter, namely Sekonik Flashmate L-308X with the continuous light shooting method. The results of the test using the original tool with the ATMega328 microcontroller produced values above 90%.

Abstract

Japanese is one of the most difficult languages to understand and read. Japanese writing that does not use the alphabet is the reason for the difficulty of the Japanese language to read. There are three types of Japanese, namely kanji, katakana, and hiragana. Hiragana letters are the most commonly used type of writing. In addition, hiragana has a cursive nature, so each person's writing will be different. Machine learning methods can be used to read Japanese letters by recognizing the image of the letters. The Japanese letters that are used in this study are hiragana vowels. This study focuses on conducting a comparative study of machine learning methods for the image classification of Japanese letters. The machine learning methods that were successfully compared are Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and K-Nearest Neighbor. The results of the comparative study show that the K-Nearest Neighbor method is the best method for image classification of hiragana vowels. K-Nearest Neighbor gets an accuracy of 89.4% with a low error rate.

Abstract

Higher education is a place for students to study after graduating from high school/vocational high school in order to continue their higher education level, at college students study according to the majors they are interested in as a provision to find work after graduating from campus that. In choosing a college, it is necessary to choose a university that has good quality and can be recognized by a diploma from the campus. The Department of Informatics Engineering is one of the majors in the university. The selection of majors also needs to pay attention to the quality of universities and the quality of the existing majors at these universities is considered important because universities are the starting gate to create new knowledge and more knowledge for their students so that students also become someone who is competently trained in the IT field, College selection is mandatory and the number of universities offering the same major often confuses prospective students. Therefore, it is necessary to make the right selection using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method which is one of the accurate methods in solving decision-making problems. The results showed that alternative A5 had the best value with a final value of 0.67.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to classify the concept of understanding students in Mathematics lessons. In the learning process teaching students understanding learning materials is very important. The attainment of student understanding is a function of the being of an educator. Many formulas and concepts to understand make it difficult for students to solve math problems. The data source was obtained from the results of a math comprehension questionnaire of eighth graders at Tamansiswa Tapian Dolok Private Junior High School. The classification method used is the C4.5 Algorithm and assisted with RapidMiner software. Attributes used are student interests, how students learn, student motivation, how to teach teachers, learning media, and infrastructure facilities. The results of the calculation of entropy values and attribute gains obtained 15 rules of mathematical comprehension decisions with 9 rules of understanding status and 6 rules of inconsistency status. Classification modeling with C4.5 Algorithm on RapidMiner obtained 96.00% accuracy Classification with C4.5 Algorithm can be applied and provide new information about the classification of student comprehension concepts in math lessons

Abstract

Information technology today, is very developed and easy to find. Especially in information on Bogor tourist attractions such as the Bogor Palace, Tugu Kujang, and Pakansari Stadium. However, the data information held is not completely valid. Because many tourists get data that is not suitable, due to the lack of information obtained. Therefore, the researchers tried to make an android-based "Tourism Object in Bogor" application using Augmented Reality (AR) technology and the Lucas Kanade Algorithm, as well as Marker Based Tracking efforts to make it easier to get the information desired by tourism. Bogor is one of the cities in West Java Province that attracts many tourists, especially domestic tourists. However, there are still many tourist attractions in Bogor that are still many tourist attractions that have not been visited and are still not widely known by tourists. Until now, researchers have tried to make an android-based "Tourism Object in Bogor" application so that tourists know the shape of objects and information such as the Bogor Palace, Tugu Kujang, and Pakansari Stadium. Using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, the technology itself has photos, sounds, and 3d objects that can bring virtual 3d objects into the real world. The "Tourism Object in Bogor" application uses Android Studio, Unity, Sketchup, Vuforia, and Visual Studio. In order to make it easier for tourists to identify data on tourist attractions they want to visit. The application "Tourism Objects in Bogor" serves to share data information for local and foreign tourists, because this is an opportunity for the Bogor Regional Government to improve services and facilities in Bogor, so that tourists feel safe arriving and visiting Bogor.

Abstract

At the seminar, the sale of seminar tickets is done manually, that is, by registering seminar participants. Where in this activity the participants have to manually fill in the data needed to create a certificate at the end of the activity. Accordingly, internet technology can be used for online seminar registration, making it easier for seminar organizers to know the results of the accumulated seminars. In this study, a website-based seminar ticket sales system will be developed as a seminar ticket sales affiliate system, namely by helping seminar organizers to promote or market seminar ticket sales. By using this application, information becomes easier to convey and obtain, both seminar organizers and seminar participants. To provide better activity performance. The system is built using an open source PHP codeigniter framework and uses the apostolico algorithm applied to the seminar category search process on database storage by generating a list of seminar category options based on the keywords entered.

Abstract

Apprenticeship students are students who work and study directly at one of the companies they occupy according to the major they take, students who have done an apprenticeship and do a very good job at one of the companies will usually be proposed to be employees of the company, many students and from various universities participating in a company with the same department and in the selection must be done in a fair manner based on appropriate criteria and not based on who has family relations in a company, therefore it is necessary to make a selection involving a system, namely a decision support system where this system uses the extended promethee II method, this method is used to accumulate every value that each student candidate has that is supported by the company to become an employee, the results of the application of this method are king with the highest score who is the best candidate
