Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa sebelum penerapan metode pembelajaran sosiodrama dengan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa sesudah penerapan metode pembelajaran sosiodrama. Kecerdasan kinestetik pada peserta didik perlu ditingkatkan karena mempunyai peran penting dalam kehidupan, terutama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan sosial, sportivitas, rasa percaya diri, harga diri dan meningkatkan kesehatan. Kecerdasan kinestetik juga sangat erat kaitannya dengan hubungan sosial dengan teman sebaya, oleh karena itu sangat cocok dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran IPS. Kecerdasan kinestetik meliputi koordinasi tubuh, keterampilan tubuh, dan mengeksperiskan ide dan perasaan. Kecerdasan kinestetik bisa jadi adalah kecerdasan yang paling sering diganakan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Mengerjakan semua kegiatan bervariasi setiap hari, semuanya menggunakan gerakan tubuh. Kecerdasan kinestetik dapat dikembangkan melalui berbagai aktivitas seperti menari, bermain peran, drama, olah raga, pantomim dan latihan fisik. Dalam penelitian ini, upaya peningkatan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa dilakukan dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran sosiodrama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experiment dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Random Sampling, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri 9 Bandung yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa dikumpulkan melalui angket/kuisioner. Teknik pengolahan data berupa pengolahan data kuantitatif yang meliputi uji normalitas data dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan Uji T.

Abstract

This research background based on the problems that occur in class VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Bandung associated with creative thinking abilities of learners in the social studies learning. These issues are the findings of the observations made at some time in January  2017. Indicators of the problems encountered is the creative thinking ability of students is still relatively low, these problems among which, the students are less able to find  information about the problems that exist in the subject matter. This is evidenced by the  number of students who answered questions teacher from textbooks alone, without any attempt to explore from various other sources of information. Learners are less able to associate the subject matter contained in daily life - today. This indicates that learners are  not sensitive to the surrounding environment, causing learners do not know the state of the  environment. In answering questions from the teacher the students do not think holistically (comprehensive), learners are not able to think and look at various aspects and approaches, but stu is so broad assessment. Reviewing the problems to be studied with regard to the  learning process, the researchers chose a Class Action Research (PTK) Kemiss research  design and Taggart 3 cycles. The selected alternative solutions is through the use of media  feature video is expected tocreative thinking abilities of learners to be increased. The increase in creative thinking abilities of learners in the social studies learning can be seen from several indicators of achievements of creative thinking ability has increased. All  aspects of this have evolved from the first cycle to the third cycle of sufficient quality, to be good. In conclusion, the media use feature the video can improve creative thinking  ability of students in social studies learning.

Abstract

Abstract-This research is motivated by the results of initial observation on social studies learning activities conducted by one of the teachers at SMP Negeri 40 Bandung indicating that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is able to develop students' higher order thinking in social studies learning. PBL learning model needs to be developed by the teacher during the learning activities so that students have higher order thinking ability to provision them in facing various challenges in the 21st century era. For that matter, this study aims to describe the implementation of learning PBL model to develop students’ higher order thinking ability. The method used in this study is descriptive method with the subject of research is social studies teacher and students of class IX-D SMP Negeri 40 Bandung, consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques used to obtain the data on the implementation of PBL model to develop students' higher order thinking ability is observation. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL model can develop students' higher order thinking skills. This is supported by observational data on students' higher order thinking activities developed through the PBL model at the first and second meetings that showed improvement in each of the higher order thinking level areas i.e. analysis, evaluation, and creation.Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model, Higher Order Thinking

Abstract

Kota Bandung memiliki sejumlah rmasalah lingkungan. Produksi sampah sangat banyak, mencapai 1.500 ton/hari (PD Kebersihan Kota Bandung: 2015). Penurunan air tanah mencapai 14,4 meter/tahun (Hamandi, 2006: 41). Banjir sering melanda Baleendah, Bojongsoang dan Dayeuhkolot saat musim penghujan. Kualitas air Ci kapundung ikut turun akibat pencemaran limbah dan sampah (Matahelumual 2010).Subejek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik SMA di Kota Bandungn dengan sampel 200 siswa di SMAN 4, 9, 11, 21, 23, 25, SMA Pasundan 1 dan SMA St. Aloysius Bandung. Rumusan masalah terdiri dari: 1) Bagaimanakah pengaruh pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan peserta didik SMA di Kota Bandung, 2) Bagaimanakah pengaruh sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan peserta didik SMA di Kota Bandung.Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak ada pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan. Diperlukan upaya seperti terus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran lingkungan hidup yang lebih bermakna. Pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan seperti pembatasan kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi. Sampai kapan warga sadar untuk tidak menginginkan kendaraan pribadi, sementara itu pada waktu yang sama polusi udara terus bertambah.

Abstract

Abstract-This study is motivated by the author’s curiosity towards the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in improving student cooperation. The purpose of this study is to implementate the Cooperative Learning model Student Teams-Achievement Division (STAD) type to improve student cooperation that includes teamwork in solving problem and doing task, sharing ideas, asking and answering questions, interpersonal communication among students, students and teacher, students and informant, as well as respect for gender, ethnic, race, religion, socioeconomic status, culture and perspective differences. Classroom Action Research (PTK) uses a spiral model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart conducted in three cycles. The subjects of the study are the students of class VII-D. The implementation of learning to improve student cooperation is by implementing the Cooperative Learning model Student Teams-Achievement Division (STAD) Type in Social Science learning. Over three cycles have consistent improvements. In the first cycle, the observation on student cooperation is in the "adequate" category, because the students are lack of interactive communication among students, students and teacher, as well as the students are still lacking in a teamwork. In the second cycle, the result of student cooperation is in the "good" category. In this second cycle, it can be solved by teacher by making improvement and guiding students during teamwork process. In the last cycle, it experienced an increase into the category of "very good", because each student contributes directly or actively in the team. Of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in Social Science learning can improve student cooperation.Keywords: Cooperative learning STAD type, Cooperation skill, Social science learning

Abstract

Kompetensi pembelajaran IPS dibagi kedalam empat bagian yang saling berkesinambungan, yakni spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Demi tercapainya kompetensi tersebut, usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Pemilihan variasi media pembelajaran ini berlandaskan manfaat dan fungsinya yakni sebagai alat komunikasi antara guru dan peserta didik. Ketika komunikasi antara guru dan peserta didik berjalan dengan baik maka pesan dan tujuan pembelajaran lebih mudah dicapai. Penelitian ini mengkaji gambaran penggunaan variasi media dan kompetensi inti pembelajaran IPS serta melihat pengaruh variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap ketercapaian kompetensi inti pembelajaran IPS. Hasilnya menunjukkan variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran berpengaruh positif terhadap ketercapaian kompetensi inti pembelajaran IPS dengan skor loading factor sebesar 0.46, baik dengan pemanfaatan media cetak, media elektronik, maupun media realita. Ini didukung hasil analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji statistik hipotesis structural equality method (SEM). Secara lebih rinci digambarkan bahwa media cetak paling sering dipergunakan guru dengan persentase sebesar 94%, sedangkan jenis media yang paling berpengaruh pada ketercapaian kompetensi inti adalah media realita dengan skor loading factor sebesar 0.876. Sedangkan kompetensi inti yang paling tercapai dengan pemanfaatan variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran adalah kompetensi spiritual dengan persentasi sebanyak 97.9%, sedangkan berdasarkan pengujian statistik kompetensi keterampilanlah yang paling dipengaruhi variasi media pembelajaran, dengan skor loading factor sebesar 0.899.Kata Kunci: Variasi Media Pembelajaran, Kompetensi Inti, Pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the influence of cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type in attempt to improve student tolerance character in IPS learning in SMP Negeri 29 Bandung. The study is a type of quasi-experimental study using the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The free variables in this study are cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and the dependent variable is student tolerance character. The sample of study uses purposive sampling technique. The learning activities were carried out in two classes namely class VIII B as experimental class and class VIII F as control class. Study data obtained from the questionnaire that has been filled by students before and after treatment. The analysistechnique uses hypothesis test with T-Test. After processing data in experimental class usingtreatment in the form of STAD method, it is found that there is a significant improvement, while in control class using lecture method and there is no significant improvement. Based on the study that has been conducted, it can be concluded that there is effect from Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method to the student tolerance character in IPS learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas VIII-6 SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung yang ditemukan oleh peneliti pada saat melakukan observasi awal. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada tanggal 21 oktober 2015, peneliti menemukan permasalahan yaitu siswa kurang memiliki kemampuan berpikir analisis. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan beberapa indikator permasalahan diantaranya siswa kurang mampu menganalisis suatu masalah, siswa belum bisa berpikir secara konkret, siswa juga belum bisa menganalisis informasi yang masuk,  membagi-bagi atau menstrukturkan informasi ke dalam bagian yang lebih kecil untuk mengenali pola atau hubungannya. Alternatif  pemecahan masalah yang menjadi pilihan peneliti yaitu dengan menerapkan penggunaan media film dokumenter. Penggunaan film dokumenter dimaksudkan agar siswa mampu aktif dalam pembelajaran, focus dan mampu berpikir analisis. Meninjau permasalahan yang akan diteliti berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran dan kemampuan siswa, maka peneliti memilih Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis Mc. Taggart yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Penggunaan media film dokumenter untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa di kelas VIII-6 SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung dapat dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

This present study was aimed at investigating the influence of cooperative learning withSFAE model on triggering students to speak up when learning social science subject at JuniorHigh School of 2 Lembang. The research employed quasi experimental study with non-equivalent control group design as well as pre- and post- giving treatment at 7H class as theexperimental group, while 7I as the controlled group. The sample of the research was chosenby using purposive sample. One of the data gathering was a closed questionnaire thatinquired students’ willingness to speak up. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using t-test. The study revealed that the results between pre- and post- giving treatment gained by theexperimental group showed significant difference. Whereas, the scores achieved in pre- andpost- the treatment by the controlled group were alike or the scores had no improvement.Consequently, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning with student facilitatorand explaining (SFAE) model affected significantly on students’ willingness to speak upwhen learning social science subject. yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap keberanian berbicarasiswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Abstract-This study aims to test how much influence the model of cooperative learning type think pair and share (tps) on student cooperation (quasi experiment on social studies learning class VII in Cikajang Junior High School). The design used in this research is non-equevalent controlgroup with "before" and "after" pattern and treatment done on class VII-A as experiment class group. While VII-B as a control class group that made a comparison. Sampling used is purposive sample technique. Student cooperation data collection using closed questionnaire. After data collection, quantitative analysis is done through hypothesis or T-test. The results of differences between "before" and "after" in the experimental class given treatment showed significant improvement. In control classes between "before" and "after" that are not given treatment there is also a difference, but not an improvement but rather a decrease. So it can be concluded that there is influence of model cooperative learning type think pair and share (tps) to student's cooperation in social studies learning.Keywords: Student Cooperation, Cooperative Learning Type Think Pair and Share (TPS),Social Studies Learning
