Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the basic competencies students have as prospective teachers at PPL at school. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data collection technique is using a perspective teacher questionnaire with data collection instruments is a questionnaire sheet. The results of this study indicate that student competencies at PPL are in the category of competencies. The achievement level of student pedagogy competence is 82.74% with the competent category, personality competence is 87.00% with the competent category, social competence is 85.23% with the competent category and Professional competence is 81.76% with the competent category.Keywords: Student Competencies at PPL, Perspective, Tutor Teacher

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiwa pendidikan matematika dan kesulitan yang dihadapi mahasiwa pendidikan matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal kemampuan penalaran analogis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dimana peneliti melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiswa berdasarkan jawaban tes yang diberikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 32 Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Suryakancana tahun pelajaran 2016-2017. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa: 1) Kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiswa pendidikan matematika berada pada kategori sangat kurang pada dua soal, yaitu yang berkaitan dengan menentukan solusi umum dari sebuah persamaan diferensial ordo satu homogen dan menentukan solusi khusus dari sebuah persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah. Kemudian pada kategori kurang pada dua soal, yaitu yang berkaitan dengan memeriksa sebuah persamaan adalah solusi khusus dari persamaan diferensial ordo satu. Sedangkan berada pada kategori baik pada tiga soal, yaitu menentukan solusi umum dari persamaan diferensial ordo satu eksak dan linear, serta menentukan faktor integrasi; 2) Kesulitan mahasiswa yang dihadapi pada mengidentifikasi skema dasar bentuk persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah dan homogen dan langkah-langkah penyelesaian yang dianggap rumit sehingga ketika berhadapan dengan skema baru mereka kesulitan. Kemudian juga yang terkaitan dengan menentukan solusi khusus dan memeriksa bahwa sebuah persamaan adalah solusi khusus dari sebuah persamaan diferensial, karena berhubungan dengan persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah.Kata Kunci: Penalaran Analogis, Mahasiwa, Persamaan Diferensial Ordo Satu

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the implementation of the cultural cornerstones of Cianjur in Learning Mathematical Multiliterasi Berbatuan Smartphone Technology Uses an Android version of Geogebra Applications To enhance the capabilities of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Mathematically Vocational School. The design used The Static-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. For class experiments given treatment that is by learning the android version of geogebra-assisted multiliterasi, and grade control get the conventional learning. The population of this research is the class X OTKP SMK Al Madina Cianjur 30 students with samples is then divided into two groups, the experimental class and the class of the control. First data collection with the instrument test and question form. Data analysis using the test of normality, test its homogeneity, test safety/difference of two averages, percentage values and attitudes. Results of the study indicate that there is an increase in the ability of the students with learning multiliterasi HOTS mathematically better than conventional learning. And positive student attitudes of learning by implementing the cultural pillars cianjur.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep akan sebuah ilmu pengetahuan berperan penting, salah satunya untuk menghubungkan atau mengaitkan sebuah konsep yang satu dengan yang lainnya yang telah dipelajari. Oleh karenanya, kemampuan pemahaman konsep menjadi salah satu tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran. Pemahaman konsep memberikan pengertian bahwa materi yang diajarkan bukanlah hanya sebuah hafalan. Berdasarkan pentingnya peranan pemahaman akan sebuah konsep, dilakukanlah sebuah penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menelaah tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dan mengetahui kesalahan-keselahan mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah pemrograman komputer. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa peserta didik tingkat I mata kuliah Pemrograman Komputer Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Suryakancana Tahun Akademik 2016-2017. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument tes. Hasil penelitian 1) Secara umum tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pemprograman komputer adalah sedang dengan persentase kemampuan pemahaman konsep sebesar 68,724%. 2) Kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan pada penyelesaian yang dilakukan mahasiswa adalah mengenai konsep C++ dengan persentase sebesar 58,929%.

Abstract

Teaching and learning process to determine student learning outcomes requires the selection of appropriate learning models so that it can provide maximum learning impact. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of better learning models for the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This type of research is quantitative using the Quasi-experimental design method. Data collection in this study uses a description test with the type of questions based on indicators of mathematical concept understanding ability. Hypothesis testing uses a non-correlated 2-sample t test with decisions taken through the left-side test. This shows that the Flipped Classroom learning model is more effective than the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model in influencing students' mathematical concepts

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Treffinger dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bepikir kreatif peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan metode Pretest-postest control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V SDI Watu Weri berjumlah 52 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang terdiri atas 5 butir soal uraian dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,79 pada kategori tinggi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik statistik parametrik dengan teknik pengujian hipotesisnya adalah menggunakan uji t independen dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for windows versi 23.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Treffinger lebih efektif daripada model konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai t hitung  adalah 8,772 dengan signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05. Temuan ini tergambar secara jelas dalam langkah-langkah pembelajaran basic tools, practice with process, dan working with problem yang memuat teknik-teknik belajar kreatif. Ketiga tahapan yang tergambar dalam implementasinya mampu menuntun peserta didik menyelesaikan masalah yang bersifat non rutin.

Abstract

Model Learning Cycle 5E (LC 5E) berlandaskan pada pendekatan konstruktivisme, yang memasukan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, merangsang siswa untuk melakukan eksplorasi, menemukan dan memperoleh pengalaman. Model LC 5E juga memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran dan memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk belajar secara bermakna. Tujuan pembelajaran matematika di antaranya adalah meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis serta Self-Regulated Learning  (SRL) matematika siswa. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa diharapkan dapat meningkat melalui pembelajaran LC 5E yaitu, pada tahap explanation siswa dituntut untuk menjelaskan ide yang telah mereka peroleh berdasarkan hasil kegiatan exploration. Tahap elaboration  siswa difasilitasi untuk mengaplikasikan ide dan gagasannya dalam menyelesaikan soal. SRL matematika siswa diharapkan dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran LC 5E, yaitu pada tahap exploration siswa belajar bekerja sama dalam kelompok untuk mempelajari suatu topik serta pada tahap evaluation, siswa mengevaluasi hasil belajar dan mengevaluasi apa yang telah mereka pelajari dalam proses pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Students' mathematical problem solving ability is one of  mathematic thinking skills that students must have. Application of open-ended approach is expected to improve that ability. The research design used is a quasi-experimental design, it’s post-test only with population of all students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono academic year 2010/2011. Through Purposive Random Sampling technique obtained class VII.4 and VII.5 as sample research. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) more than 50% of students in the experimental class were thoroughly studied, and (2) the average mathematical problem solving ability in the learning with the open-ended approach was higher than the conventional learning. So it is concluded that the application of an effective open-ended approach is viewed from students' mathematical problem solving ability.Keywords: Rectangle, Open-Ended Approach and Troubleshooting

Abstract

Inductive Approach is an alternative that is offered to overcome the problem of low mathematical reasoning ability, problem-solving, and self-concept of students. The population in this study is all students of state SMP in Karawang district. The selected sample is for the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan, Karawang district in the academic year 2017-2018. Sampling was done by sampling technique, in random sampling was taken 1 experiment class and 1 control class. The result of the research shows improvement of reasoning ability and mathematical problem solving of students who gain learning with the inductive approach is better than students who get regular learning. The self-concept of students acquiring learning with an inductive approach is smaller or equal to that of students who acquire regular learning. The association between reasoning ability and mathematical problem solving is in the moderate category. The association between reasoning ability and student self-concept is in a low category. The association between problem-solving ability and student self-concept is in a low category. The description of the learning process with the Inductive Approach is already in line with the syntax of learning with the Inductive Approach. As for the students' difficulties in working on problems of reasoning and problem solving, among others, the difficulty of identifying the interrelationships between concepts, the difficulty of identifying strategies that can be taken, carrying out calculations, and careless in re-examining the solutions obtained. Keywords: inductive approach, mathematical reasoning, mathematical problem-solving, self-concept.

Abstract

The process of student understanding of mathematical concepts is still low, this happens to most students at SMP Nasional Bandung. Students and students experience obstacles in learning and understanding mathematical concepts, especially when the material provided is changed to different problems. One of the reasons students find it difficult to understand mathematical concepts is the use of conventional learning models. Therefore, the use of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model using experimental research methods is expected to make it easier for students to understand mathematical concepts, especially when the material provided is changed into various forms. Class VII students at SMP Nasional Bandung became the population in the study, while the sample was class VII-A and VII-E students who were randomly selected. The test used is the type of description as an instrument and will be tested on class VIIIA. After the analysis is carried out, produce the feasibility of all test questions worthy of being used in research. Analysis of the trial data is carried out using a t-test using the SPSS 23.0 (Independent Sample T-Test) application. The conclusion is the use of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model can improve the ability of students to understand mathematical concepts compared to conventional learning models. Therefore, the use of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model becomes an alternative for teachers when learning about students so that learning becomes more effective, active and enjoyable.Keywords: Mathematical Concept Understanding, Reciprocal Teaching, Mathematical Proficiency
