Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Bertambahnya usia dapat menyebabkan perubahan kondisi fisiologis dan psikologis, salah satunya adalah peningkatan kadar asam urat dalam darah atau yang biasa disebut dengan hiperurisemia. Kadar asam urat yang tinggi dalam darah jika tidak ditanggulangi dan dibiarkan dalam rentang waktu yang lama dapat menyebabkan terjadinya berbagai penyakit tidak menular seperti penyakit ginjal kronis, kerusakan sendi dan penyakit kardiovaskular. Prevalensi kejadian hiperurisemia di Indonesia pada tahun 2015 sebesar 18%. Penelitian terkait status menopause dan status gizi pada wanita usia 15-54 tahun di Indonesia masih belum banyak diteliti dengan mengambil beberapa provinsi untuk dijadikan sampel.Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan antara status menopause dan status gizi dengan kadar asam urat pada wanita usia 15-54 tahun di Indonesia.Metode: Desain pada penelitian ini yaitu cross sectional dengan subjek wanita berusia 15-54 tahun pada 10 provinsi di Indonesia dengan total jumlah responden sebanyak 606 responden. Teknik sampling untuk penentuan provinsi dan kota menggunakan purposive sampling dan penentuan kecamatan atau kelurahan menggunakan random sampling. Kadar asam urat diperoleh dari pengukuran darah kapiler dan status gizi diperoleh dari pengukuran antropometri yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan terampil. Status menopause diperoleh dari wawancara oleh enumerator terlatih yang menanyakan terkait riwayat menstruasi dalam satu tahun. Pengelompokkan status menopause dibagi menjadi belum menopause, pra menopause dan menopause.Hasil: Sebanyak 42,9% dari total responden mangalami obesitas, sebagian besar berada pada kelompok usia 41-54 tahun. Subjek yang menderita hiperurisemia sebanyak 21.1% dan yang telah memasuki masa menopause dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 11.4%. Adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara status menopause dengan kadar asam urat (p=0,031) dan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kadar asam urat (p<0,001;r=0,193).Kesimpulan: Kadar asam urat pada wanita yang obesitas dan menopause cenderung akan meningkat jika dibandingkan dengan wanita yang berstatus gizi normal dan belum menopause.KATA KUNCI: hiperurisemia; kadar asam urat; status gizi; status menopause; wanita ABSTRACTBackground: Increasing age can cause changes in physiological and psychological conditions, one of which is an increase in uric acid levels in the blood, commonly referred to as hyperuricemia. High uric acid levels in the blood, if not addressed and left for a long time, can lead to various non-communicable diseases such as chronic kidney disease, joint damage, and cardiovascular disease. The prevalence of hyperuricemia in Indonesia in 2015 was 18%. Research related to menopausal status and nutritional status in women aged 15-54 years in Indonesia has not been widely studied by taking several provinces as samples.Objectives: To analyze the relationship between menopausal status and nutritional status with uric acid levels in women aged 15-54 years in Indonesia.Methods: The design of this study was cross-sectional, with female subjects aged 15-54 years in 10 provinces in Indonesia and a total number of 606 respondents. Sampling techniques for determining provinces and cities using purposive sampling and determining sub-districts or villages using random sampling. Uric acid levels were obtained from capillary blood measurements, and nutritional status was obtained from anthropometric measurements conducted by skilled health workers. Menopausal status was obtained from interviews by trained enumerators who asked about menstrual history in one year. The classification of menopausal status was divided into not yet menopausal, pre-menopausal, and menopausal.Results: A total of 42.9% of the total respondents were obese, mostly in the age group of 41-54 years. Subjects who suffered from hyperuricemia were 21.1%, and those who had entered menopause in this study were 11.4%. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Indonesia menghadapi beban tinggi wasting pada anak. Secara global pada tahun 2018, 1 dari 10 balita mengalami berat badan di bawah normal atau status gizi terlalu kurusuntuk seusianya. Berdasarkan Survei Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2023, prevalensi status gizi (BB/TB) pada anak usia 0-59 bulan di Indonesia mencapai 8,5%. Di Jawa Tengah prevalensi BB/TB tercatat sebesar 7,1% (wasting = 5,5% dan severely wasting = 1,6%), sementara Kudus memiliki prevalensi 8,7% di atas rata-rata Jawa Tengah. Banyak faktor yang diketahui berkontribusi terhadap wasting diantaranya: pemberian ASI eksklusif dan asupan vitamin A yang tidak memadai; pemberian MP-ASI yang kurang berkualitas; balita yang menderita sakit seperti diare, ISPA, kecacingan, dan penyakit infeksi lainnya; imunisasi tidak lengkap; keterlambatan penanganan balita yang sakit; dan lingkungan rumah yang kurang bersih.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian ASI eksklusif dan riwayat penyakit infeksi (diare, ISPA, dan tuberkulosis) dengan kejadian wasting pada anak usia 12-59 bulan.Metode:  Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah case control dengan 150 anak balita sebagai subjek penelitian (50 wasting dan 100 gizi normal). Pengambilan data dilakukan pengukuran BB dan TB menggunakan alat ukur digital, serta wawancara kepada orang tua/wali menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat menggunakan chi-square.Hasil: Variabel yang mempunyai hubungan dan secara signifikan dengan kejadian Wasting pada anak usia 12-59 bulan adalah pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value=0.018). Sedangkan riwayat penyakit infeksi Diare (p-value=0.271), ISPA (p-value=0.950), dan Tuberkulosis (p-value=1.000) tidak mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian Wasting di Kabupaten Kudus. Kesimpulan: Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada anak balita mempunyai korelasi dengan kejadian wasting. Pemenuhan nutrisi balita dengan ASI eksklusif dapat menguatkan imunitas tubuh pada anak terhadap berbagai macam penyakit infeksi.KATA KUNCI: wasting; ASI eksklusif; diare; ISPA; tuberkulosis   ABSTRACTBackground: Indonesia faces a high burden of wasting among children. Globally, 1 in 10 toddlers were underweight or wasting for their age in 2018. According to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey, the prevalence of nutritional status (weight/height) among children aged 0-59 months in Indonesia reached 8.5%. In Central Java, the prevalence was 7.1% (wasting = 5.5% and severely wasting = 1.6%), while Kudus had a prevalence of 8.7%, above the Central Java average. Many factors are known to contribute to wasting, including inadequate exclusive breastfeeding and vitamin A intake; poor-quality complementary feeding (MP-ASI; illnesses such as diarrhea, acute respiratory infections (ARI), worm infections, and other infectious diseases; incomplete immunization; delayed treatment of sick toddlers; and poor household hygiene. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and a history of infectious diseases (Diarrhea, ARI, and Tuberculosis) with the incidence of wasting in children aged 12-59 months.Methods: This case-control study involved 150 children (50 with wasting and 100 with normal nutrition status). Data was collected through Weight measurement using digital scales, Height measurement using digital TB measuring instruments, and interviews with parents/guardians using questionnaires. The data analysis used was univariate using frequency distribution and bivariate using chi-square.Results: The variable that has a significant relationship with the incidence of wasting in children aged 12-59 months is exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.018). In comparison, the history of infectious diseases diarrhea (p-value = 0.271), ARI (p-value = 0.950), and tuberculosis (p-value = 1.000) did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of Wasting in Kudus Regency.Conclusions: Exclusive breastfeeding in toddlers correlates with the incidence of wasting. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Secara global rata-rata harapan hidup telah meningkat pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, namun angka ini tidak diiringi dengan angka harapan hidup sehat. Berbagai masalah terkait dengan penuaan seperti kesulitan mengunyah, dan menelan makanan dapat mengurangi kemampuan lansia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizinya, untuk itu dibutuhkan modifikasi tekstur dari makanan lansia sehingga memudahkan mereka dalam mengonsumsinya.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan formula yang tepat, menganalisis nilai organoleptik, dan kandungan zat gizi sup krim jagung manis dan ikan kembung untuk lansia.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan experimental di laboratorium dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal yaitu kombinasi jagung dan ikan kembung dalam 3 taraf berbeda. Formula terdiri atas F1 (6% ikan), F2 (8% ikan), dan F3 (10% ikan). Data uji hedonik diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data zat gizi dengan pengamatan di laboratorium. Data penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistik one-way annova dan paired t test.Hasil: Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan untuk seluruh atribut pada uji hedonik dan protein sup krim segar, sehingga formula 3 dipilih sebagai formula terbaik dengan kandungan protein yang lebih banyak dibandingkan formula lainnya. Kandungan gizi sup krim instan yaitu protein 39,98%, lemak 16,13% karbohidrat 34,36%, air 4,80%, abu 4,74%, dan total serat 5,96%.Kesimpulan: Sup krim ini dapat dikembangkan sebagai makanan selingan lansia, sup krim ini disukai oleh panelis dan memiliki kandungan gizi yang baik bagi lansiaABTRACTBackground: From a global perspective, the average life expectancy has risen rapidly in recent years but has not been followed by healthy life expectancy. Several aging-related issues, such as difficulties in chewing and swallowing, can hinder elderly people’s ability to meet their nutritional needs. Therefore, modifying food texture to facilitate easier consumption for this age group is essential.Objectives: This study aims to develop an optimal formula and evaluate the organoleptic and nutritional content of sweet corn and mackerel cream soup for elderly people.Methods: This research was a laboratory experiment employing a Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with a single factor, namely the combination of maize and mackerel at three different levels: F1 (6% fish), F2 (8% fish), and F3 (10% fish). The hedonic test data was obtained through a questionnaire, while nutritional data were gathered through laboratory observation. Then, data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and paired t-tests.Results: The fresh cream soup's hedonic test and protein content demonstrated no significant differences found between the formulas. Therefore, Formula 3 was the optimal choice, as it exhibited a higher protein content than the other formulas. The nutritional composition of the instant cream soup is as follows: protein (39.98%), fat (16.13%), carbohydrate (34.36%), water (4.80%), ash (4.74%), and total fiber (5.96%).Conclusions: This cream soup has been developed as a snack meal for the elderly. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Osteoarthritis (OA) merupakan penyakit sendi yang paling umum di seluruh dunia, dengan dampak yang kuat pada kesehatan individu dan populasi. Secara global prevalensi OA meningkat sebesar 113,2% dari 247,5 juta pada tahun 1990 menjadi 527,8 juta pada tahun 2019. Prevalensi OA di Indonesia meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia yaitu sebesar 5% pada individu berusia kurang dari 40 tahun, 30% pada usia 40-60 tahun, dan 65% pada usia di atas 60 tahun. Angka kejadian OA lutut relatif tinggi, yaitu 15,5% pada pria dan 12,7% pada wanita. Penyakit ini dapat menyebabkan nyeri kronis, kecacatan, dan menurunkan kualitas hidup penderita. Tingginya kadar sitokin pro inflamasi seperti TNF-α pada penderita OA dapat berperan sebagai faktor utama yang menginduksi kematian krondosit dan menghambat diferensiasi serta proliferasi kondrosit. Penelitian sebelumnya mengatakan bahwa suplementasi omega 3 dapat menurunkan kadar sitokin proinflamasi, memperbaiki nyeri, dan kekakuan fungsi fisik pada individu dengan OA lutut, namun belum ada yang meneliti pengaruh suplementasi omega 3 ini dengan penurunan kadar Tumor Necrosis Factor α (TNF-α).Tujuan: Menganalisis pengaruh  suplementasi asam lemak omega 3 terhadap kadar TNF-α dan intensitas nyeri pada penderita osteoarthritis. Metode: Studi ini merupakan quasi-experimental desain kelompok tunggal dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-post test without control group design pada 31 pasien. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran antropometri, pengambilan sampel darah dan pengukuran skor nyeri dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya intervensi. analisa TNF-α menggunakan Enzym Linked Immunosorbent Assay (Elisa), intensitas nyeri menggunakan numeric rating scale (NRS). Analisis uji statistik pengaruh suplementasi asam lemak omega 3 terhadap kadar TNF-α dan intensitas nyeri menggunakan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil: Hasil yang diperoleh pada TNF-α dengan nilai P=0,007 dan intensitas nyeri dengan nilai P=0,001 yang menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan.Kesimpulan: Suplementasi asam lemak omega 3 pada penderita OA dapat mengasilkan beberapa mediator anti inflamasi yang mampu menurunkan kadar sitokin pro inflamasi TNF-α dan intensitas nyerisecara siginifikan.KATA KUNCI: asam lemak omega 3 ; tumor necrosis alpha (TNF-α); intensitas nyeri; inflamasi; osteoarthritis ABSTRACTBackground: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common joint disease worldwide, strongly impacting individual and population health. Globally, the prevalence of OA increased by 113.2% from 247.5 million in 1990 to 527.8 million in 2019. The prevalence of OA in Indonesia increases with age, namely by 5% in individuals under 40 years, 30% in those aged 40-60 years, and 65% in those over 60 years. The incidence of knee OA is relatively high, namely 15.5% in men and 12.7% in women. This disease can cause chronic pain and disability and reduce the quality of life of sufferers. High levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α in OA sufferers can act as a major factor in inducing chondrocyte death and inhibiting chondrocyte differentiation and proliferation. Previous studies have shown that omega-3 supplementation can reduce proinflammatory cytokine levels and improve pain and stiffness of physical function in individuals with knee OA. Still, no one has studied the effect of omega-3 supplementation on reducing TNF-α levels.Objectives: To analyze the effect of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation on TNF-α levels and pain intensity in patients with osteoarthritis.Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental single-group design with a one-group pre-post test without a control group design in 31 patients. Data collection was carried out by anthropometric measurements, blood sampling, and pain score measurements twice, namely before and after the intervention. TNF-α analysis using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (Elisa), pain intensity using a numeric rating scale (NRS).
