Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of childrens rights in the perspective of Islamic law in Raudhatul Athfal. The research was conducted at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Ar-Rashid located at Suka Maju Indah Estate, GG Block No. 1, Suka Maju, Sunggal, Deli Serdang, North Sumatera. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Technique of collecting data sourced from result of observation, interview and documentation. Research subjects were teachers, parents and children (students) in RA. Ar-Rashid. Data analysis using descriptive technique. The results of the research that are: (1) Rights of the Child in the perspective of Islamic Law, (2) Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and (3) Implementation of childrens rights in early childhood Islamic education institutions Raudhatul Athfal, at a good implementing, manifest in the curriculum applied in Raudhatul Athfal. Starting from the right to get affection, domisile, education, health, all of which are included in the structure of early childhood education curriculum.

Abstract

This article reported the result of research for the influence of games and intelligences to ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children. The research was held in TK/RA Daarul Muqimien of Buaranjati village, Sukadiri subdistrict, Tangerang regency. The amount of sample are 40 TK-B’s children. The method used was experimental with 2x2 factorial design. The results of this research are : (1) there was non significant difference to ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children who given by Monopoly game and TK-B’s children who given by Snakes-Ladders game; (2) there was non significant difference to ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children with high intelligence who given by monopoly game and Snakes-Ladders game; (3) ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children with low intelligence who given by Monopoly game lower than children who given by Snakes-Ladders game; (4) there was significant influence of interaction between games and intelligence to ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children. Both monopoly game and Snakes-Ladders game could improve the ability in mathematics for TK-B’s children.

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) produce the feasible screening assesment to increase PAUD teachers competition in identifiying language development of early childhood (2) know the effectiveness of screening assesment to increase PAUD teachers competition in identifiying language development of early childhood. This research is a research and development which is used Borg and Gall (2007) adapted from Dick and Carey. Stages included in this research and development are (1) Identification Instructional Goal, (2) Conduct Instructional Analysis, (3) Analyze Learners and Contexts, (4) Write Performance Objective, (5) Develop Assessment Instrument, (6) Develop Instructional Strategy, (7) Develop and Select Instructional Materials, (8) Design and Conduct Formative Evaluation of Instruction, (9) Resive Instruction, and (10) Design and Conduct Summative Evaluation. Feasiblity determination of screening assesment level was based on the experts validation test, individual trial and small group trial. Effectiveness determination of screening assesment level was based on the field trial. The reaserch performed on 30 teachers in Gugus of Kecamatan Banjarmasin Timur.Validation product result showed that screening assesment feasibled to increase the PAUD teachers competention in identifying language development. Wilcoxon test result that significance value was 0.000, which was smaller than 0.05 as the significance level used in this research, than H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Thus, concluded that the developed screening assesment product was increased PAUD teacher’s competence in identifying language development of early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada beragamnya latar belakang pendidikan guru; kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam memberikan bimbingan psikologis dan fisik untuk mengembangkan potensi dan perkembangan anak usia dini; kemampuan guru dalam mengelola dan melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran (hasil pra penelitian). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen pre and post test desain, alat pegumpulan data berupa angket penilaian diri kompetensi guru PAUD. subyek penelitian guru PAUD yang terhimpun dalam HIMPAUDI Kota Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan non signifikant dengan kategori bervariasi pada masing-masing sub aspek kompetensi pedagogik; bentuk layanan informasi bimbingan dan konseling yang diberikan pada guru PAUD yaitu: perencanaan,  pelaksanaan,  evaluasi, analisis hasil evaluasi, tindak lanjut, dan pelaporan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve childrens social skills through group-play in KB Pelangi Bina Bangsa. This research want to provide the insight and benefit to all parties involved in the world of early childhood education in the field of social skills in general, and KB Pelangi Bina Bangsa as a place of research in particular. This research used a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were the students of KB Pelangi Bina Bangsa in age 3 – 4. It used observation as a method, data collection tool is observation sheet, documentation and interview. Based on the result of the research, after the action by applying group play activities, can improve the social skills of children in age 3 - 4 years in KB Pelangi Bina Bangsa. Before the action averaged 16.6% of the children in the category of complete then in the first cycle to 58% and in the second cycle increased to 91.7% of children in the category of complete.

Abstract

This study aims (1) To know the ability to count the beginning of children aged 3-4 years in KB Cheers Nonidah Purwosari Tlogowungu Pati. (2) To find out whether the number cube game can improve the ability of counting children aged 3-4 years. This research was conducted in two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II. In the process, the number cube for improving childrens numeracy is carried out with two cycles, the first cycle is classical, cycle II with the division of 4 groups. The results of the data analysis and observation through the number cube shows an increase from the pre cycle of 29% of children who complete the ability to count, up in the first cycle to 61%. That is, an increase of 32%. And in the second cycle increased to 83.7% and an increase of 83.7%. The results achieved in cycle II already meet the determined completion target, which is 80% of the total children get the value with the category of the total value of 85. The increase of this average value proves the success of number cube game to improve the counting ability of children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase of students’s worship knowledge at TK Widyatama Cabak Tlogowungu Pati through picture and planel board media. Classroom Action Research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017. This research will be carried out in 2 cycles. The analysis is done by using data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that the picture and planel board media can improve the knowledge of the students prayer worship. This is shown from the observations of pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. In pre cycles, knowledge of worship in the category of good worship as many as 7 students (23%) and sufficient category as many as 24 students (77%). In the first cycle, the knowledge of worship in the category of excellent students as much as 17 students (55%), good category 11 students (35%), and enough category sebanya 3 students (10%). In the second cycle, the knowledge of worship of the students reaches an increase of 87%, that is very good category as many as 27 students (32%), good category as many as 3 students (10%), and enough category as 1 student (3%). So in cycle II there is still one student who still need guidance from the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the method of memorizing the Quran used TKIT Yaa Bunayya and RA Darussalam. This research is a kind of qualitative research with field research method. Data collected with interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study are the method of memorizing Al Quran that used in TKIT Yaa Bunayya is classical, private and murottal. While the method of memorizing Al Quran applied in RA Darussalam is simai, murajaah and using audio visual media. From this new method obtained results there are some children who are able to memorize the letter exceeds the target in group B (QS Al Insyirah). The target group A recitation is 12 letters in juz 30 (An Naas - Al Ashr), target group B is 21 letters in Juz 30 (An Naas - Al Insyirah). Factors that supported the program to memorize the Quran in TKIT Yaa Bunayya and RA Darussalam are the same, that are the enthusiastic and enthusiastic of students in the memorization, the parents factor that helps the process of memorizing the childrens at home, the teachers who use the method of learning appropriately and innovatively , as well as facilities that are available at school and at home. While the inhibiting factors are the spirit of the students to memorize sometimes down or the condition is less focused, the condition of parents who are too busy so do not have time to repeat the childs memorization at home, and infrastructure facilities are less available.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of playdough media to improve childrens cognitive abilities. The design of this study used classroom action research. The results show that for the "very good developing" category, from pre cycle as much as 6 children or 33,33%, in cycle I still 6 children or 33,33%, and become 10 child or 55,56%. For the "developing as expected" category, from 2 children or 11,11% in cycle I become 5 child or 27,78% and in cycle II become 8 child or 44,44%. For the "developing" category, in pre cycle of 2 children or 11.11% and then decreased to 1 child or 5.56% and in cycle II no children who entered the category began to grow or 0%. In the "under developed" category in the pre cycle of 8 or 44.44%, then in the first cycle is reduced to 6 children or 33.33% and in cycle II there is no children in “under developed” category, or 0%. It can be concluded that playdough media can improve childrens cognitive ability.

Abstract

This article examines how early mathematical concepts that fit the early childhood cognitive development. The introduction of early mathematical concepts becomes important for early childhood to provide various stimuli and foster childrens love of mathematics. The introduction of mathematics is not just about numeracy and formulas, but more important is the cultivation of the concept of mathematics. If early childhood has known let alone understand the concept of mathematics well, will certainly have a positive impact on subsequent developments. There are three points in this article related to early mathematical concepts that need to be introduced for early childhood: (1) matching and discriminating, comparing and contrasting, (2) classifying, sorting and grouping, (3) ordering, sequence and seriesation.
