Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors and formulate strategies in improving the quality of higher education institutions in LLDIKTI Region I, North Sumatra. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis using an analysis of internal factors and external factors. Strategies that can be carried out by LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra are improvement and development of data-based information systems in coaching the quality of private universities, internal strengthening of LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra in terms of more competent human resources, implementing and developing data-based decision support systems that can map quality PTS, guidance in implementing SPMI, provides training to increase the number of qualified auditors.

Abstract

This writing has main purpose that is to know head master’s role in improving educational quality, leadership, duty, and headmaster’s role in improving educational quality, leardership, duty, and headmaster’s role in order to produce process and product of quality education. Educational quality is our hope in facing strict life exchange in several sectors especially in education sectors for better future. For the sake of making educational quality, this needs role of leaders in educational institutes. One of them is headmaster because it is the pioneer is moving all changes to go to educational quality. Headmaster’s duty is not only leading ceremony, waiting incoming letter to be signed but also making a good quality of education in school. Specifically headmaster’s role in improving quality of education are doing monitoring, evaluating continually toward seccessful program determined, planning and arranging word plan agreed with improving needs of educational quality which orients on school’s mission, making intensive commumication with teachers, students, student’s parents and society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is: to know the results of student learning through the application of Peer Tutor method in grade 3 students of Primary School Negeri 1 Sukadana.Penelitian is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, observation, reflection. The research subjects are the third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sukadana which amounted to 24 people.The method used is a test method to collect data on student learning outcomes. After all collected, the data is analyzed descriptively quantitative. Data analysis in this research using quantitative descriptive. The results showed the students' learning outcomes in the first cycle average score of learning outcomes with low categories. The average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 77.08 with 66.66% classical completeness, absorption 77.08%. Then on the second cycle has increased, the average learning outcome becomes 82.29 classical completeness to 91.66% and absorption to 82.29%. And result of analysis of learning result of cycle I and II have increase of average value of result of learning equal to 5,21 classical completeness equal to 25% absorption equal to 5,21% with use of peer tutor method.Based on the results of this study can be concluded the use of peer tutors can improve learning outcomes Hindu Religious Education. (1) Hindu Education Teachers to try to apply the use of peer tutors (2) Other researchers are expected to conduct further research related to the application of innovative learning models.

Abstract

Technological developments have positive and negative impact on teenagers in particular. The most common negative impact of technology is cyber bullying. In globalization era and technological development, nowadays computer can produce multifunctional internet. All good and evil behavior can be done on social media. Before the development of the internet, cyber bullying actor committed their crimes in the real world. Cyber bullying actor can hurt and make many individuals uncomfortable in their lives. The crime is called bullying. Nowadays, the bullying can be done through any other media indirectly such as social media and it called cyber bullying. According to the Hinduja and Patching Cyber-Bullying researcher, the behavior is described as intentional action by sending electronic text (e-mail), or recording images that are usually uploaded to social media (youtube). The contents uploaded such as mocking, harassing, threatening, harassing, or insulting.

Abstract

Cooperative learning : group investigation (GI) is a learning strategy to determine the student’s development and progress that oriented to class activities and allow students to use a variety of learning resources besides teachers. Thelow learning achievement obtained by students in particular on the subjects of Hinduism is noteworthy. It is caused by several factors, including the intelligence of students, student motivation, interest in learning, study habits, as well as external factors such as student living environment, the infrastructure that supports the learning process inadequate. To see whether the implementation of Cooperative Learning type Group Investigation able to improve student learning outcomes, this study applied the model to the 2nd year student (class F) in SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar school year 2011/2012. This study was classifiedas a class action (classroom action reseach) which is the subject is the 2nd year student (class F) as many as 28 people and the object of research is thestudent’s learning activities. This study used primary data obtained directly from the students by using the technique of testing and observation sheet. The collected data were analyzed descriptively based on the average and standarddeviation that obtained through the results of the evaluation scores at each end of the cycle. The results showed a very significant increase in activity of students from an average score of 2.93 in the first cycle to 4.14 in the second cycle. The average student achievement in the first cycle is 70.64 with classical completeness of 60% increased to 75.54 with classical completeness of 92.9%.

This writing studies the traditional Pakraman system of the organisation when seen from the Indonesian governmental democratic point of view, namely the process of deciding the system, the main task, and the function of every   representation of the organisation at a village.

Abstract

Student’s learning satisfaction is one of measuring tools of the success of learning process which would be realized through learning outcomes. This statement has been widely proven through various studies that have been done related to the learning satisfaction and learning outcomes. This article aims to describe three main points relating to the vital position of learning satisfaction as a determinant factor of student learning outcomes namely; (1) factors affecting learning satisfaction, (2) the influence of learning satisfaction on learning outcomes, and (3) how to measure learning satisfaction as well as examples of instruments that have been developed and used by researchers. The main source of this article was the research results from around the world that raised the learning satisfaction as the main topic. This paper was expected to provide an additional knowledge about learning satisfaction variables, so it can be utilized to carry out more in-depth research.

Abstract

The spirit of nationalism should appear in every citizen, including the Alengka Kumbakarna in defense of his country. But, the figure Kumbakarna often neglected for example real in trade off his country. It is forgotten because Kumbakarna giant is to be measured by its evil and do not care. Research that of the value of a character nationalism Kumbakarna and implementation of nationalism in the life of globalization. Methods used in this research was qualitative dekriptif a literature study. Research findings this is the character education kumbarna figure there are seven character is in kumbakarna honest figures, hard work, are, responsibility, social care, love of water, and nationalism. The implementation in the life of , that Kumbakarna have provided it is like giant, but the works that are done that is really have adopted in defense of his country. The real conducted in such a way that all citizens have to have spirit and without forgetting in building his country in a the same thing, using the national language, honor that the symbols the state and proud of the work of the people. All of the family, it is started area environment, the nation in general.
