Abstract

This article entitled “The Application of KMARI No. 702 year of 2016 as a Real Effort toreach the Quality Assurance of High Institution in Religion Ministry”. Some descriptions of this article cover introduction such as basis law engagement performance, report engagement, and review on report performance, some components in KMARI Nomor 702 year of 2016, understanding performance engagement, understanding of engagement performance, and meaning review on report of performance. Abstract

This study is to analyze the teachings of yajna as the basis for the character formation of learners in Gurukula Junior High School. As a school that implements the pasraman education system, the Gurukula Junior High School in making the program of activities that will be applied in schools is always based on religious teachings. This research use qualitative research method by using research instrument of interview, observation and also documentation study. The results of data analysis in this study using qualitative description. The result of this study is that the yajna teachings applied in the First Middle School Gurukula is a simple yajna teaching such as cleaning the pasraman environment, cooking for all residents of the dorm, greeting every visitor. The activity is very effective to form and develop the good character of learners like honest, responsible, independent, friendly and polite, discipline and so forth.

Abstract

Education is a process of humanizing humans to be able to actualize themselves in life, where good education is education that does not only prepare students for a profession or position, but to solve the problems it faces in daily life. Improving the quality of education is directed at improving the quality of Indonesian human beings through training, thinking, sports, and sports in order to have competitiveness in facing global challenges. Increasing the relevance of education is intended to produce graduates who are in accordance with the demands of the needs of Indonesia's natural resource potential. Steps that can be taken to improve the quality of education, namely: strengthening the curriculum, strengthening the capacity of school management, strengthening educational resources, continuous improvement and fact-based management.

Abstract

The government has designed the concept of independent learning to improve the quality of education in the current era. The concept of independent learning is actually not a new concept. The concept of free learning that provides awareness of students and educators to be able to construct their own knowledge and give meaning based on independent learning experiences is closely related to the theory of constructivist learning. In terms of improving the quality of education in Indonesia, many media can be used as a forum or inspiration. One of them, namely literature. The novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata is a literary work that deserves to be an inspiration especially to explore the narratives delivered. The formulation of the problem of this research is how is the inspiration for independent learning in this Guru Aini Novel as improving the quality of Indonesian education? The purpose of this study is to describe the values of independent learning in this Guru Aini Novel as improving the quality of Indonesian education. The method used is the analysis of literary sociology and its relation to the theory of constructivist learning. The results of this study indicate that the narratives in the novel "Guru Aini" by Andrea Hirata provide insights related to meaning in the learning process. Knowledge that has to be constructed by itself, is sought by itself with the support and motivation of the teacher as a facilitator as well as a mediator and can help students in solving each problem and bring independence, not depressed, and appreciate every learning process from the inspiration of Aini, Desi, and other figures.

Abstract

Harmony is a dream for every household that are nurtured with love, compassion, and sincerity.  In improving household harmony  a grounding Hindu religion as guidance is needed. Household harmony is a state of peace, good, friendly, united hearts, agreement that occur in a family life with overcome differences of opinion and differences of understanding. The increase in household harmony creates a peaceful family circumstances that shows happy, life without violence, as well as inner and outer prosperous which are based on realizing the teachings of truth and religion.

Abstract

In the past decade, the general method for measuring the performance of research and scientific publications in a Study Program at a Higher Education is by the Rough Value (Nilai Kasar, NK) calculated per three years. This value is derived from the accreditation instrument. In fact, the calculation of the performance of research and scientific publications with NK cannot represent an annual performance. Therefore, this paper presents a new method for calculating research and scientific publications performance with an index (IP-PS and IPub-PS), which is calculated annually. An example of quality measurement practice in the Automotive Diploma Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. As a result, calculations with IP-PS and IPub-PS are more likely to present real conditions per year than using NK.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah University of Magelang (UMMagelang) with Study Program Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) has a vision "To become a superior and nationally Islamic study program in 2024 the development of Islamic science in the field of teacher professional education (MI/SD)". In order to realize the performance and improvement of PGMI Study Program lecturers based on 17 quality objectives set out in the appendix of the study program vision, in this article only the criteria for research and service are delivered, the PGMI UMMagelang study program refers to the UMMagelang research roadmap. In the last 3 years, lecturers of PGMI were involved in 28 Research and Service Titles. LP3M UMMagelang Internal Funding: 8 Title University Vision Revitalization Program (PRVI) and 9 University Partnership Program (PKU) titles. Abstract

National character and civilization building cannot be separated from the education institution. As a place for producing intellectuals, educationinstitutions might be regarded as the “second homes” in which students study to develop their competencies. They are the places in which the collaboration from the students’ parents is needed in order to create a good learning atmosphere. So far the Hindu education institutions receive lack of this kind of collaboration. As a solution, it is necessary to provide more space for the students’ parents to contribute to the Hindu higher educationimprovement. Such a place is necessary for a good communication as in a particular situation students’ parents should be involved in improving the quality of the education and avoiding opposition.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide a correct understanding of the importance of quality and professionalism of Hindu religious teachers in education. A teacher of religion, especially Hindu religious teachers is not just a job assigned to transfer knowledge but also served to instill the values of the teachings of Hinduism to the learners. Hindu religious teachers are professional positions, hence a teacher demanded to carry out their duties professionally. The professionalism of a teacher can be seen from how to run any of the duties is always productive, innovative, efficient and effective and independentTo be a Hindu religious teacher who is able to carry out their duties in a professional manner, the necessary efforts both from its own consciousness and on the government's efforts. In an effort to become a Hindu religious teachers qualified and professional, then a Hindu religious teachers is not enough to just rely on what the government has programmed as with training, workshops, competition research, as well as awards in the form of allowance teacher certification, and seminars, but a Hindu religious teachers are required to understand the teachings of Hinduism as a whole and want to fill themselves with the knowledge and responsiveness to changing times and technological advances. Thus, the material being taught will always correspond with the times and the material can be innovative, efficient and effective in their delivery in the classroom.Finally the success of a teacher of religion in their profession will appear on the character and attitude of the learners who become responsible, religious and good behavior.
