Abstract

The proposed study pertains to Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource Constrained (MTSSDRC), which considers minimizing tardiness and workload balance. The workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). Additionally, the research concentrates on unrelated parallel machine schedules as they reflect the actual industry conditions in practice. This issue employs three methodologies: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Problem (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP).  The results in the MILP model focus on the value of total tardiness so that the results obtained have a smaller total tardiness value. However, it is still uncertain that the WSI value is better because no boundaries have been set between the two objective functions to achieve optimal values in the MILP model. The MIQP model focuses on the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI) value to give a limit to the total tardiness objective function. Limit values are obtained from MILP model values, and the resulting WSI value becomes smaller. Moreover, the MIQCP model focuses on the total tardiness value and has limits in the form of permitted WSI. This model produces a small WSI value in accordance with the specified WSI limits while adjusting the specified total tardiness.

Abstract

This paper focuses on developing a Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource-Constrained Scheduling (MTSSDRC) system that considers differences in skill between operators, aiming to minimize makespan and balance operator workload. Workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). The mathematical model developed uses three techniques: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Programming (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP). These techniques can handle scheduling cases on a small to medium scale. Results from MILP focus on minimizing makespan, with an additional constraint for calculating the WSI. MIQP focuses on workload balance so that the WSI value becomes an objective function. It also adds a constraint for the allowable makespan value. The result from MIQP shows that the WSI value is lower than in MILP, and the makespan values are equal to the MILP makespan value. Next, MIQCP aims to minimize makespan with a constraint for the allowable WSI value. The MIQCP model produces a makespan value adjusted to a WSI value close to zero. Finally, further analysis is presented regarding the influence of differences in operator skills based on the results of the three models. Based on these models, operators with better skills will be assigned more frequently than others.

Abstract

The evolution of Web 2.0 technology has significantly influenced the use of Android applications, enabling users to provide feedback through reviews and star ratings. In managing omnichannel retail businesses, this user-generated content serves as a valuable source of information for performance evaluation and strategic management of both online and offline operations. Large-scale user review data is well-suited for analysis through text mining, particularly in sentiment analysis, when combined with topic and keyword filtering in the business domain. This study utilizes the RoBERTa Transformer model for the sentiment classification of user reviews. Among the 520 user reviews, 211 displayed good emotion, while 309 showed negative sentiment. By applying filtering processes to topics and keywords within the omnichannel retail business domain, the study identifies "economic value" and "delivery and CRM" as priority areas for improvement. This conclusion is drawn based on the significant disparity between positive and negative sentiments. As a result, management can formulate strategies to enhance the performance and user experience of the KlikIndomaret Android application.

Abstract

This research focuses on the technical economic optimization of the CNC CO2 laser machine G-Weike type LC6090 for engraving acrylic material. Because there is no ideal tabulation that serves as a guide for the operator in setting machine parameters, one of the issues in operating the machine is that the engraving process for acrylic materials is still traditionally done through estimation or approximation. Indeed, this affects process inconsistency, leading to resource waste and machine operations due to defects. Since defective process results cannot be fixed or recycled, the cost of raw materials and machining will inevitably be incurred. This study emphasizes the principle of effectiveness in optimizing the laser machine-level settings for the engraving process using the Simplex Lattice-Centroid approach to generate a tabulation of optimal settings. With a speed variable level setting of 55,556 mm/s, a power of 50%, and an interval of 0.083782, the ideal results value at processing time is 1.240184, depth is 0.054967, and roughness is 0.012728. The scan speed variable strongly correlates with optimization of depth, roughness, and processing time. The scan interval variable has a moderate correlation with depth, and the power variable has a moderate correlation with processing time and roughness. The best cost efficacy in the process was then ascertained by measuring cost-effectiveness using the Full Costing method. The cost-effective results are IDR 46,778.08 per hour or IDR 13,472,087.04 annually. Using cost-effective measurements can produce a Life Cycle Cost (LCC) of the CNC laser machine value of IDR 134,720,870.4 per 10-year service lifetime.

Abstract

This research focused on the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) optimization of home-scale biodigester-composter machines. The aims to determine feasibility from technical-economic aspects. The technique was to design the machine's mechanical process, physical, and constituent components. There are two methods conducted on this research, VDI 2222 to optimize and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess the optimal quality results of the machine design based on simulation analysis. This research ended with making a physical prototype of a home-scale biodigester-composter machine using the optimal design, then validating it with a working test of the machine. The results of the VDI 2222 method show an optimal design concept through the structure of the working mechanism. All its constituent components match with the ten target specifications and the machine manufacturing cost of IDR 2,393,000, as well as the assembly chart design for each constituent component. These results are also evaluated using the FEA method. The resistance value of the frame system to maximum Von Mises Stress is obtained at 128.75 MPa with a minimum value of 6.93e-04 MPa. It is concluded to be acceptable at withstanding normal and shear stresses effectively with a relatively small displacement value of 0 to 0.47 mm. The equivalent strain value results are 3.89e-09 ul to 5.83e-04 ul and safety factor value results are 1.93 to 15 ul. It can be concluded that the frame system design concept is safe.

Abstract

It is necessary to give concentrated attention to the issue of stunting by implementing appropriate nutrition initiatives to prevent stunted physical and mental development. Optimal food availability is one effective strategy for preventing it. However, it often disregards preferences that guarantee pleasure, dietary diversity, and compatibility with individual tastes. In this paper, we show a two-step multi-criteria decision model. The AHP is used to figure out the criteria weights, and the TOPSIS method ranks food basket options based on how close they are to the ideal solution. The efficacy of our strategy was subsequently evaluated in Balikpapan, a prominent urban center in Indonesia grappling with the issue of stunting. The evaluation's findings were as follows: nutritional value (27%) was the most significant factor, knowledge of the food ingredients (18%), variety of foods made from the food ingredients (17%), ease of preparation, cooking, and storage (15%), cost (12%), and child preference (11%). The findings indicated that food basket 3, priced at Rp209,857 and yielding 1,854.96 kcal, consisted of rice weighing 3.63 kg, duck egg weighing 1.16 kg, milkfish weighing 0.65 kg, tuna weighing 0.06 kg, cauliflower weighing 0.17 kg, kale weighing 3.46 kg, and dragon fruit weighing 1.87 kg. In addition to nutrition and cost, this study highlights that considering preferences can enhance the appeal of food baskets.
