Abstract

In this paper, galloping model is derived by using of Hooke's Law and Newton's Law. Furthermore galloping model is reduced in order to obtain a set of integro-differential equations. Analysis of system response observed with the assumption that the frequency of the external force is very close to the natural frequency of the system. Second-order expansion of analytic solutions for stationary problem from integro-differential equationsare determined using the method of multiple scales. Analysis of the behavior of the system to stability point and dynamic of solutions that depend on the parameter indicates that the initial conditions of the system affect the oscillation behavior of cable.Keywords: galloping, multiple scales, perturbation, resonace.

Abstract

 Abstract Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a tourism site in Jakarta, which has area of 160 hectares and there are 26 traditional houses, 13 museums, 10 tourist parks, public and special facilities which are located far apart. Visitors needed information services that could help find the location, information and the facilities. Researchers proposed information kiosk applications as an alternative solution tool to help find the necessary information. The application development used multimedia development refers to Luther’s method; consist of concept, design, gathering materials, manufacture, testing, and distribution. The application interface includes nine designs, with dimension 950 x 700 pixels, 30 fps, capacity size of 291 MB, 18 pages, and duration of application 7 minutes 38 seconds. Based on questionnaire of 20 visitors, it could be concluded that the application was interested (80%), easy to use (80%), the information provided was clear (80%), and could assisted visitors to find the locations (90%). Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang metode iterasi baru untuk mencari akar-akar persamaan nonlinear dengan variabel tunggal yang merupakan kombinasi metode doubel-Newton dan metode Potra-Ptak menjadi metode iterasi tiga langkah. Selanjutnya, turunan yang muncul pada metode iterasi tersebut ditaksir menggunakan penyetaran dua buah metode berorde empat dan beda maju sehingga diperoleh metode iterasi bebas turunan. Secara analitik ditunjukkan bahwa metode iterasi yang dihasilkan mempunyai orde konvergensi enam dengan empat evaluasi fungsi pada setiap iterasi, sehingga indeks efisiensinya adalah 1,5651. Komputasi numerik untuk beberapa contoh yang digunakan menunjukkan metode iterasi baru lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan metode lain yang didiskusikan.

Abstract

Suatu model diperlukanuntukdapatmenggambarkandarisebuah sistem, seperti dalam menggambarkan sifat data statistik sistem telekomunikasi misalnya performansi sentral. Model digunakan dalam menentukan ketersediaan nilai parameter performansi sentral seperti sentral telepon otomatis AT&T 5ESS.Nilai parameter performasi sentral AT&T 5ESSbersifat statistik dan berubah setiap waktu, diperlukan pemodelan untuk menentukan ketersediaan nilai parameter.Penelitian ini melakukan pemodelan terhadap data statistik parameterperformansi sentral AT&T 5ESS di PT Telkom Riau Daratan diantaranya Answer Seizure Ratio(ASR), Grade of Service (GOS),Mean Holding Time Per Seizure (MHTS) dan Occupancy Circuit (OCC) melalui pendekatan distribusi. Dari hasil pemodelan diperoleh bahwa parameter ASR berdistribusi normal dengan nilai ketersediaan sebesar 45,34 %, parameter GOS berdistribusi eksponensial dan rayleigh dengan nilai ketersediaan sebesar 0,53 %. Untuk parameter MHTS diperoleh data berdistribusi Gamma dan eksponensial dengan nilai ketersediaan sebesar 5,33, kemudian parameter OCC terdistribusi eksponensial dan gamma dengan nilai ketersedian sebesar 17.85%..Kata kunci:AT&T 5ESS, ketersediaan, pemodelan data , parameter performansi sentral

Abstract

Keberhasilan komunikasi radio HF sangat dipengaruhi oleh perubahan kondisi lapisan ionosfer. Perubahan yang terjadi dapat menimbulkan permasalahan bagi penggunaan frekuensi kerja di stasiun radio. Sehingga dibutuhkan analisis pengaruh lapisan ionosfer terhadap komunikasi radio HF dengan manajemen frekuensi agar mendapatkan frekuensi kerja yang optimal. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis pengamatan pengaruh lapisan ionosfer terhadap hasil komunikasi stasiun ALE Pekanbaru dengan stasiun Tanjungsari, Biak, Kupang, Pontianak, dan Watukosek. Berdasarkan hasil uji komunikasi stasiun ALE Pekanbaru. Dari hasil uji komunikasi antar stasiun ALE tersebut diperoleh bahwa pada bulan Juli 2013 frekuensi kerja yang dapat digunakan berada pada rentang frekuensi 14 MHz hingga 25 MHz untuk sirkuit Pekanbaru-Watukosek dan Pekanbaru-Kupang, sedangkan sirkuit Pekanbaru-Tanjungsari berada pada frekuensi 14 MHz hingga 25 MHz . Dari hasil yang diperoleh membuktikan bahwa satu frekuensi saja tidak dapat digunakan terus-menerus disebabkan tingkat keberhasilan pemantulan gelombang radio HF di dipengaruhi oleh lapisan ionosfer.Kata kunci: ALE, frekuensi kerja, pengaruh lapisan ionosfer, radio HF.

Abstract

Development of information technology makes management of information and ease of accessing a database become an important element in information systems. A decrease in performance on a centralized architecture causes can be handle by changing to the architecture of a distributed database. In addition, the architecture of cloud on the database is an architecture database that can be accessed by a client with cloud service. This provides a convenience when accessing information on demand. Therefore, in this research, author implemented how to handling of heterogeneous distributed database that was built as a Database as a Service (DBaaS) on cloud relational architecture. The case study used is the distro database and using 3 different data storage in distributed database that is vertical fragmentation, horizontal fragmentation, and replication. The results in this research are the performance of DBaaS system using the test parameter of response time, throughput and memory usage. Where performed on the implementation of a distributed database by storing data in vertical fragmentation has a better performance results than horizontal fragmentation, and replication. Based on the test results, the vertical fragmentation better than horizontal fragmentation and replication.Keywords: : response time, throughput, memory usage, fragmentation, replication

Abstract

Goods Carriers Robot based Microcontroller ATMega 8535L with Remote control is a tool that has function to transport goods from one place to another is controlled automatically. The goal is to alleviate human work, especially the work of carrying in shopping center. The tool consists of several circuit blocks. There are the battery circuit to output 3V, 5V, and 12V, motion sensor, transmitter module 27 MHz, receiver module 27 MHz, and the limit switch as an input, the controller circuit using ATMega 8535L and gearbox motor circuits as output. The automation of robot movement with transmitter and receiver modules with a range of up to 540 cm to regulate the movement of the robot in four directions, namely forward, backward, right, and left. When the presence of human movement to the distance 1.9 m in front of the robot, the motion sensor will detect it, the robot will stop moving. The total of heavy loads can be carried by the robot up to 660 gr limited by limit switches.Keywords: Microcontroller ATMega 8535L, Motion Sensor, Limit switch, Transmitter 27 MHz, Receiver 27 MHz.

Abstract

Integrasi kurikulum antara Islam dan sains sudah dilaksanakan di pesantren-pesantren terpadu di seluruh Indonesia termasuk di Aceh yang disebut dengan dayah terpadu. Perpaduan kurikulum Islam dan sains bertujuan melahirkan intelektual Muslim yang tidak menjauhi teknologi, modernisasi, kemajuan dan menolak mentah-mentah sesuatu yang datangnya dari Barat. Walaupun terdapat sedikit perbedaan pengertian antara Barat dan Islam khususnya dalam memaknai kurikulum, namun hal tersebut dinilai masih dalam batas-batas kewajaran. Dalam ranah perguruan tinggi seperti di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Ar-Raniry, integrasi kurikulum antara Sains dan Islam dilaksanakan pada setiap mata kuliah dengan membaca satu ayat yang berkaitan dengan mata kuliah tersebut sebelum kuliah dimulai. Disamping itu, ada pula program one day one ayat yang harus dihafal oleh mahasiswa, dan selalu di setor kepada penesehat akademiknya setiap bulan. Kurikulum terpadu antara Islam dan sains mutlak diperlukan untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang religi dan berketuhanan. Kurikulum ini telah terbukti berhasil diaplikasikan di sekolah menengah umum, sekolah agama serta di perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta.

Abstract

This paper proposes a prototype of the Knowledge Management System (KMS) to provide the Islamic culture information in Riau Province by utilizing an interactive mapping zone. One of the causes of the fading Islamic culture in Indonesia is due to people tend to appreciate the cultures of other countries rather than cultures and artworks own country. Moreover, the Islamic culture information is still difficult to be found or is not accessible. Hence, it is highly required to develop a good system providing complete information to potential people who need information regarding the Islamic culture in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province. This information system can be developed by employing the KMS-based. It can organize, store, preserve the diversity of Islamic culture knowledge, and even foster the sharing knowledge practices interactively according to its mapping zone. Abstract

The results of the analysis of supplier performance evaluation model PT XYZ show that themodel has the disadvantage of only using two evaluation criteria and performed separately. The weaknesswas led to the management of PT XYZ has a problems in taking decisions related to the performance ofsuppliers. This research aims to design supplier performance evaluation model that is expected to improveefficiency and effectiveness in implementation. The method used is Analytical Hierarchy Process.Structure hierarchical model consists of four levels, namely objectives, criteria, sub-criteria andalternatives. The proportion namely Quality (46%), Delivery (24%), Cost (8%), Response (22%), PACS(45%), warranty Claim (11%), Quality Audit System (44%), kipping, stop line, stop variant (100%), Costdown (100%), the response PACS (44%), the response FTIR (7%), the response Finding Audit (38%), andthe response kipping, stop line, stop variants (11 %). Verify the model shows that the model produces avalue corresponding predetermined assessment standards and can be implemented. Validation of themodel showed that the contents include the evaluation required by the customer; evaluation can beconducted objectively; and sufficiently improve the efficiency and effectiveness in implementation.Keywords: Analytical Hierarchy Process, model, performance evaluation, supplier
