Abstract

Indonesia as a Muslim-majority country desperately needs products that are suitable for Islamic investment products in various financial institutions including capital markets. Likewise, Turkey, a country that was once the center of Islamic power and the most influential in the Islamic world, strongly supports the application of Islamic values, including in the fields of finance and investment, including Islamic investment in the Islamic capital market. The application of Jurisprudence on bond products is needed so that it is farthest from the practice of prohibited practices in Islam. The application of this contract requires analysis and thinking. A comparison of the development of Sukuk in the two Muslim majority countries is very interesting to study. This research is qualitative, namely research to produce a description of a problem in the form of words related to understanding, understanding, and value values. In this qualitative research, the author will explain the differences and similarities of contracts that occur in Sukuk in Indonesia and Turkey and data that occur in the field that relates to concepts in Sukuk contracts in both countries, especially corporate Sukuk. Abstract

Managers of Islamic financial institutions just confuse the names of sharia cooperatives with BMT such as KJKS/BMT, KPPS/BMT. Thus, the role and function of Islamic financial institutions are inappropriate. The purpose of this article is to analyze the differences between the main functions of sharia cooperatives and BMT with the aim that managers of sharia financial institutions, especially sharia cooperatives, can name their sharia financial institutions according to the roles and functions they carry out. This field research uses primary data obtained through interviews with sharia cooperative managers, customers and Sharia cooperative DPS and observation and documentation, secondary data obtained from articles, books, magazines and other relevant references. The data analysis technique was carried out through analysis of reduction and display and verification and narrated descriptively. The results showed that the merger of the name KSPPS BMT Anduring, namely the merger between sharia cooperatives (KSPPS) and BMT, because the initial funds from this financial institution came from a Padang PEMKO grant of Rp. 30,000,000,- which was intended for BMT capital, so until now the name The BMT is still being used, and this merger of names is not appropriate, because KSPPS BMT Anduring only carries out business functions and does not carry out the social functions of BMT. For this reason, KSPPS BMT Anduring must change the name of its sharia financial institution to KSPPS only or KSPPS Baitul Tamwil Anduring.

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam that every Muslim carries, which can be interpreted as something that increases or grows. In this study, we will discuss the definition of Zakat, the pillars, and conditions of Zakat, Zakat management, Zakat institutions, and the contribution of Zakat toreducing poverty. This study aims to determine the extent of awareness of the Indonesian people in paying Zakat. The research technique uses qualitative methods, in data collection techniques using library research methods, where sources and references or information materials come from journals, internet media, theses, and others. The technique used to analyze the data is a descriptive method, where each variable will be explained one by one. Based on the results of the study, several factors that cause the low payment of Zakat, such as the need for digitalization of Zakat, community resources in Zakat are still not qualified, the lack of transparency of Zakat management institutions, the absence of mandatory Zakat government policies and the development of Zakat infrastructure which is lacking.
