Abstract

Background: Inclusive education is an education where children with special needs can study in public schools in the environment around them. Therefore, good attention to students in inclusive schools is needed to support their learning success. Provide assistance to Students with Special Needs (SSN) in learning mathematics at inclusive schools in the city of Madiun. The partner in this service is SDN 2 Taman Kota Madiun, where the service activities are attended by all 4th grade students including SSN. The method of implementing the program includes the following stages: preparation, counseling, implementation, mentoring and evaluation. From the results of the implementation of the service, it gave several good impacts: 1) students become more motivated in math lessons, 2) Students more easily understand the fraction material presented with the help of learning media in the form of the Rainbow Fraction Tower prop that has been developed by the team. Based on the overall service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that learning mathematics with the help of media in the form of the Rainbow Fraction Tower props can have a very good influence on SSN, where they become more enthusiastic in learning and easy to understand fraction material.

Abstract

Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran termasuk di dalamnya adalah kemampuan penyusunan instrumen tes evaluasi. Guru yang profesional memiliki tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, menilai, dan mengevaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keprofesionalan guru dalam menyusun intrumen tes evaluasi yang berbasis High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dan berpikir reflektif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh guru-guru matematika SMP/SMA/sederajat di Jawa Tengah dengan jumlah peserta 14 orang. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah yang dilakukan secara daring mengingat kondisi saat ini masih dalam masa Pandemi Covid-19. Hasil evaluasi dilakukan di akhir pelatihan, diperoleh hasil bahwa sebagian besar peserta belum mengenal tentang berpikir reflektif siswa dan tertarik dengan pentingnya kemampuan berpikir reflektif. Di sisi lain, sebagian besar peserta sudah mengenal tentang HOTS tetapi masih banyak peserta belum memberikan soal matematika berbasis HOTS kepada siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mendapat apresiasi dari peserta dan peserta tertarik untuk diadakan pelatihan lebih lanjut tentang penyusunan berpikir reflektif siswa dalam waktu yang lebih lama.

Abstract

Planting a live pharmacy is very important for the community, especially to increase the body's source of immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. This service aims to provide knowledge to the community, especially mothers in Tapan Village, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province regarding the importance of living pharmacies. The method of implementing community service activities is offline and online assistance. Mentoring participants were representatives of cadres from Tapan Village, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency. In order to see the added value and usefulness of service activities, before and after service activities, participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire made with Google Form. The results of the assessment of the usefulness of service activities with the results of 27% very useful and 73% useful. This service activity can run smoothly. Based on the activities carried out by the service team, it can be concluded that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the importance of the benefits of living pharmacies as a means of meeting family needs for cost-effective and chemical-free medicines in the Covid-19 pandemic era.

Abstract

Public awareness to take part in the Covid-19 vaccination is still lacking, due to a lack of public awareness and a lot of misinformation received by the public from various media. Therefore, it is necessary to provide the right insight to the community by using an effective educational model. The purpose of this community service is to provide education to the public directly about the definition of vaccines, their effects, the causes of post-vaccination effects, and the benefits of vaccines. This community service is intended for residents of Dusun Popoh, Besole Village, Tulungagung Regency which demographically is a southern coastal area. Activities are carried out by visiting residents to their homes and to the port where fishing boats rest. The target of education with the Health Believe Model approach is a total of 24 families living around the coast. The stages applied in the implementation of this service are divided into preparation, implementation and evaluation. The method of data collection is done qualitatively with a phenomenological approach. People who have received education said they understood the purpose and benefits of vaccination, they also said that this hands-on education made them understand about true and false news about vaccination. This educational activity is able to open the public's insight about vaccines, so that with this change in perception, it is hoped that later it will be able to increase the number of vaccination achievements.
