Abstract

Abstract: Information and communication technology is now used in every aspect of human life. In the educational use of Information and Communication is one of the factors in improving the quality of education. One form of the development of information technology and communication is e-learning. This study aimed to test the model acceptance of the use of E-Learning system at several universities in the city of Palembang by using a model of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). Tests will be carried out by using a calculation sttistik with tools SPPS application. Results of this study are expected to provide evidence empris about the factors that affect the acceptance (acceptance) the use of e-learning system using TAM model and EUCS. Abstract

Archiving activity the correspondence is one of the important things that must be considered in the administrative activities in Higher Education. A lot of the stakeholders raises the number of incoming and outgoing letters associated with academic activities. A number of letters made and received administrative section of the University of Bina Darma resulted in archiving done so far by manually recording that it felt less effective and efficient again. This research aims to design and build the application of incoming and outgoing letter archiving that can be used to assist and improve performance in the administrative. Research activities will be conducted gradually starting from data collection activities to produce applications. The results of this research is the application archiving of incoming and outgoing letter as a tool in improving the efficiency, accuracy and security of archived documents and can more easily do archiving incoming mail and outgoing mail and archive search of incoming and outgoing letter. Abstract

Palembang City Government using the website as a communication media in providing services to people with addresses pubilk www.palembang.go.id, and followed by all agencies with the vision, mission, tasks and responsibilities of each. This study aims to assess the perfomance website government agencies within the city of Palembang and effective use of websites as a medium of public service in the public service within the city of Palembang by eight service elements are simplicity, clarity, security, transparency, efficient, economical, fairness and timeliness by the respondent amounted 305. The results showed an overall data processing perfomance website are in good enough condition, evidenced by the percentage of the four existing criteria. As for the effectiveness of the website as a public service media has not been so effective because there are three elements that are still not good that 43% efficient, economical 46.2% and 32.1% punctuality service.

Abstract

Computer security systems, in recent years has become a major focus in the world of computer networks, this is due to the high threat of suspicious and attacks from the internet. Bina Darma University is one of the agencies which activities using the internet network services, ranging from the processing of existing data, including the KRS online system, mail server and web portal in each unit and others. Bina Darma University network manager for this building system is a network security by implementing a firewall and proxy server on each server in the network unit. To further optimize the network security system at the University of Bina Darma, the author will implement a network Intrusion Detection System at the Bina Darma University as network security solutions for both the intranet and internet network of Bina Darma University, where the author will build an IDS (Intrusion Detection System) using a snort. Abstract

Abstract: Management Information Systems is an Information Technology based management that aims to cater to the needs of the general information of all managers in the company or in the companys organizational subunit. This study examines the relationship between the successful implementation of management information systems to information technology and user satisfaction. The study design used is causal design that aims to examine the relationship between variables in the study. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires as research instruments. Design analysis process carried out through test reliability and validity test to test pernytaan in the questionnaire. Where as to determine the relationship between variables is done through a regression test test test partial and simultaneous. Abstract

This study was conducted to assist Parties PT Bank BNI 46 Cash Office Plaju Palembang in improving service to customers who wish to apply for credit, by providing a Mobile Credit Application By Customer At PT Bank BNI 46 Cash Office Plaju Palembang, so that the customers who apply for credit can determine the filing status of credit that has been submitted. The development method used Prototype method this is because the prototype method is suitable for making an application system know that yet, which will be no adjustment to match the input both from the PT Bank BNI 46 Cash Office Plaju Palembang as well as from the customer. Stages of the prototype method is used, among others Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype and Deployment delevery & Feedback. Abstract

The Government continues to seek the empowerment potential of the internet for educational needs. One effort that developed was to create a portal for learning, one of which is the House of learning. In this study, quality Home Study Education Portal will be measured using the WebQual method. Sample retrieval technique using a purposive sampling. Samples taken from 150 students and 50 teachers. A survey conducted by interviews and questionnaires gives implicit to the students and teachers at the high school. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the relationships between the dimensions of webQual 4.0 i.e. usability, research that reached from hypothesis testing 1,2 and 3, variable Usability and Information Quality has no effect and does not significantly to the satisfaction of the user Portal Home study, it is less perceived benefits by students and teachers because they have yet to make use of the portal.

Abstract

Abstract: The online catalog is a catalog of the library system that uses a computer, a catalog can provide a collection of bibliographic information. Catalogs are typically designed to simplify the user. In this research will be made a prototype online library catalog search application that utilizes semantic web technologies. Semantic web technologies allow describing objects and repositories in the form of ontology. Ontology represents semantic levels for knowledge ontology containing semantic entities instead of words. The application was built using JSP (Java Server Page) web based programming. Abstract

Growing data processing technology, this has resulted in the implementation of computerized systems in all fields. All parts of the organization or company has implemented various applications to meet their needs. Applications are applied separately raises its own problems which need the same data. So that data exchange becomes an alternative solution. Data security requirements on the database exchange process are become new problems in the process. To ensure data security on the exchange process, the encryption method is the best way. With the implementation of encryption on data that is exchanged, then the data is guaranteed safe and can only be read by those who need it. Applications that use different databases require a standard format so that all applications can read it. This format is XML. Abstract

Website is a technological facility that can help introduce or promote an agency, institution or school. To see the level of ease of use of the website on SMKN Palembang measurement of the web site services. Measuring level of user convenience using the method of Usability Testing. Usability testing is an attribute to assess how easy to use website interface, which has five components, namely Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Error, and Satisfaction. Website at each school for the users of the website by using the method of Usability Testing concluded that the average website has points are good enough and can be used by users, especially in the variable learnability the average school scored > 60%, where in the category table measurement of usability presentation in the category enough. Each school each user has different responses in the delivery of questionnaires with questions based on the categories of Usability Testing methods. Keywords: technologi, website, usability testing.
