Abstract

Computer devices are essential hardware that support work across all fields, especially in a company setting. Therefore, it is expected that the computer equipment request process can be carried out accurately, quickly, and practically. With the implementation of a web-based computer device request application in the Business Partner & IT Services Department of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, the process of requesting, recording, and managing computer device data can be made more efficient. The tools used include the Laravel framework, utilizing the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The design of the application is carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language), with the diagrams used being the use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. Data collection methods involved interviews and observations. The result of this research is expected to facilitate the process of requesting computer devices

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based payroll system for PT. Gelumbang Agro Sentosa to enhance efficiency and accuracy in managing payroll data. The previous manual payroll process often led to calculation errors, delays, and difficulties in data storage and tracking. To address these issues, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was applied, allowing for fast software development through iterative cycles of design, construction, and testing. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter framework, which supports efficient and modular application development. The result of this study is a web-based payroll application capable of managing employee data, automatically calculating salaries based on components such as basic salary, allowances, and deductions, and generating digital payslips. Based on testing and evaluation, the developed system effectively minimizes calculation errors, accelerates the payroll process, and facilitates documentation and reporting. Thus, the system contributes positively to improving the administrative performance of the human resources department at PT. Gelumbang Agro Sentosa.

Abstract

Currently, technology is also utilized for higher education, in ensuring optimal quality of higher education, it is necessary to have an effective and efficient internal quality assurance effort based on technology, to achieve quality and ensure the existence of a structured system in maintaining and improving the quality of the higher education. One important element in improving the quality of higher education is the internal quality assurance system. The Bina Sriwijaya Institute of Technology and Business Palembang as one of the private higher education institutions in South Sumatra, realizes the importance of building a strong quality culture as a foundation in realizing the vision of the institution. At The Bina Sriwijaya Institute of Technology and Business  Palembang, the recapitulation of quality documents is still in the form of archived paper, questionnaires are still collected one by one by distributing questionnaire papers to respondents, namely students, lecturers and employees, there is no systematic SOP, and when the audit is carried out it is difficult to find documents so that it takes up time because it is not yet systematic. With this problem, researchers built a Website-Based Internal Quality Assurance System (Case Study: The Bina Sriwijaya Institute of Technology and Business Palembang). The development method used by the researcher is the prototype method, so that by using the prototype method it can help solve existing problems in order to realize the vision and mission of The Bina Sriwijaya Institute of Technology and Business  Palembang

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease with an increasing global prevalence, posing a serious threat to public health. This study aims to compare the performance of three classification algorithms—Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine (SVM)—in predicting diabetes risk using secondary data from Kaggle. A quantitative approach was used, with model performance evaluated based on accuracy. Results show that SVM achieved the highest accuracy at 74.46%, followed by Logistic Regression at 73.59%, and Decision Tree at 70.56%. SVM excels in handling high-dimensional data and variability, while Logistic Regression is easier to interpret. Although Decision Tree is intuitive and easy to visualize, it is more prone to overfitting. These findings suggest that SVM is the most suitable algorithm for data-driven diabetes prediction, supporting the development of early detection systems that are fast, efficient, and cost-effective.

Abstract

Pindang Komering is a traditional dish from the Komering region in South Sumatra, well known for its delicious taste. Dapur Pindang Komering restaurant offers a solution for traditional Palembang cuisine in the digital era. Located at Jalan Bungaran No.2, 7 Ulu, Palembang City, the restaurant currently relies on reservations made by phone or in person. This often leads to customer congestion during peak hours and limits access to menu information when booking. To address these issues, a website-based reservation system is needed, allowing customers to make reservations, view the menu, order food, and make payments online—anytime and anywhere. Customers simply need to show proof of reservation upon arrival. The system is developed using the Waterfall method, a linear and structured software development approach where each phase must be completed before moving to the next. This reservation system is expected to make the process of booking, ordering, and payment more effective and efficient, while also enhancing the overall service quality of Dapur Pindang Komering restaurant.

Abstract

In the world of electricity, one important aspect that needs to be considered is the readiness of the 20 kV feeder. The 20 kV feeder is a vital part of the electricity distribution system that is responsible for distributing electrical energy from the substation to customers. Periodic monitoring of the condition of the feeder is very important to ensure the reliability of the electricity supply and prevent disruptions or blackouts. Along with technological developments, monitoring the readiness of the 20 kV feeder can be done more efficiently and effectively using a computerized system. One solution that can be used is to utilize the Google Data Studio application which allows data visualization in the form of a radar diagram. By using the Google Data Studio application, data related to the readiness of 20 kV feeders can be integrated and visualized in the form of an informative radar diagram. This allows technicians and operators to easily identify feeders that require special attention, and take the necessary preventive or corrective actions. The creation of 20 kV feeder readiness monitoring with a radar diagram display through the Google Data Studio application is expected to increase efficiency and effectiveness in monitoring feeder performance, as well as provide a comprehensive picture of the condition of the electricity distribution network. Thus, the reliability of electricity supply can be maintained, and customer satisfaction can be increased.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of the digital revolution has changed the way organizations and companies operate. The utilization of information technology has become the key to improving business effectiveness, efficiency, and competitiveness. However, success in the adoption of information technology does not only depend on technical aspects alone, but is also influenced by the attitudes and behaviors of technology users. This study uses the UTAUT 2 Model and SmartPLS 3.2.9 analysis to understand the factors that influence the acceptance and use of the JMO Mobile application at PT Basirih Industrial. The results of the analysis show that factors such as performance expectations, social influence, hedonic motivation, and habit have a significant role in shaping the intention and behavior of using the application. These findings provide valuable insights for companies in increasing the adoption of information technology in their work environment, so that they can effectively utilize information technology in the face of change and competition in the ever-evolving digital era.

Abstract

Abstract  The use of information technology in the world of education is now a necessity to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the learning process and school administration. Madrasah Aliyah Sabilul Hasanah in Banyuasin as a developing secondary education institution is also not free from the need to utilize information technology to improve the quality of administrative management, especially in terms of recording student attendance. Attendance is one of the important aspects in school administration management that affects the smoothness of the learning process. The existence of an integrated attendance information system can help facilitate the process of recording and monitoring student attendance and minimize administrative errors that may occur. By being website-based, this information system can be easily accessed by various related parties, such as teachers, administrative staff, and parents of students.

Abstract

The information system in the form of part-time job vacancies in the scope of study programme X is one of the containers that is needed both from employers (lecturers) and job seekers (students). The information system regarding part-time work in study programme X is able to provide convenience for employers in finding workers who are in accordance with what they need and also provide opportunities in the form of experience for job seekers in study programme X. This research work begins with a system design design with predetermined limits based on observations of the X study programme which is used as a benchmark. The development of this information system is determined using the prototype development method because of the short development time and must be able to be used while the development itself takes place. After obtaining the limitations from the observation results, a database system design will be carried out for the purposes of this research information system application which will be applied to the system. The next step is the information system design process which is broken down into two parts, namely the front-end and back-end parts. For testing this information system itself using the black box testing method with the main target, namely the original user as the respondent

Abstract

This research is structured to serve as an essential foundation for the development of automated pathfinding systems using Multi-Agent Pathfinding (MAPF) methods within maze environments. Although the Flood fill algorithm has long been recognized and widely used for maze solving by single agents, its application in multi-agent configurations remains limited and requires adaptive innovation. Therefore, this study reviews various related research on MAPF and relevant maze algorithms, proposing modifications to the Flood fill algorithm to enable effective operation in multi-agent scenarios. By expanding the capacity of Flood fill, it is anticipated that the algorithm's advantages, such as low complexity and fast execution, can be harnessed in dynamic multi-agent systems. The primary contribution of this research highlights the significance of implementing a modified Flood fill algorithm as an innovative basis for pathfinding solutions involving multiple agents simultaneously, thereby opening opportunities for more efficient and adaptive robotic and automation system developments
