BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is one of the scientific publication media, which publish the article related to the result of research or study in the field of Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Focus and scope of BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan, as follows: - Pure Mathematics (analysis, algebra & number theory), - Applied Mathematics (Fuzzy, Artificial Neural Network, Mathematics Modeling & Simulation, Control & Optimization, Ethno-mathematics, etc.), - Statistics, - Actuarial Science, - Logic, - Geometry & Topology, - Numerical Analysis, - Mathematic Computation and - Mathematics Education. The meaning word of "BAREKENG" is one of the words from Moluccas language which means "Counting" or "Calculating". Counting is one of the main and fundamental activities in the field of Mathematics. Therefore we tried to promote the word "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal also to promote the culture of the Maluku Area. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is published four (4) times a year in March, June, September and December, since 2020 and each issue consists of 15 articles. The first published since 2007 in printed version (p-ISSN: 1978-7227) and then in 2018 BAREKENG journal has published in online version (e-ISSN: 2615-3017) on website: (https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/barekeng/). This journal system is currently using OJS3.1.1.4 from PKP. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been nationally accredited at Level 3 (SINTA 3) since December 2018, based on the Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia, with Decree No. : 34 / E / KPT / 2018. In 2019, BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been re-accredited by Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia and accredited in level 3 (SINTA 3), with Decree No.: 29 / E / KPT / 2019. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply and compare the discriminant analysis, logistic regression, Neural Network (NN) and Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) at HBAT and IRIS data. Next will be the classification of fourth methods using the SPSS statistical software, MINITAB, MARS, and R. The results showed that the data HBAT predictor variables affected to the response variable which is the quality of the product (X6), Complaint resolution (X9) and Salesforce image (X12), whereas all predictor variables on the IRIS data affect the response variable. A more precise method used in HBAT data classification is NN and discriminant analysis because the value of the resulting classification accuracy is greater, especially for testing. Abstract

Analisis faktor adalah suatu analisis yang digunakan untuk meringkas informasi atau data jika dalam suatu penelitian terdapat berbagai variabel. Kebanyakan dari variabel-variabel dari data penelitian tersebut saling berkorelasi dan harus diperkecil jumlahnya sehingga dapat diperoleh data yang konseptual dan mudah dikelola. Proses analisis faktor dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pelayanan pada FMIPA Unpatti. Berdasarkan matriks korelasi, diperoleh 5 variabel yang mempunyai nilai eigen di atas 1, artinya beberapa variabel tereduksi dan menghasilkan variabel baru yang disebut faktor. Faktor baru yang terbentuk merupakan kumpulan dari variabel-variabel dengan nilai loading yang tinggi yaitu di atas 0,3. Di antara 15 variabel awal setelah diproses, diperoleh 5 faktor baru. Kelima faktor baru tersebut meliputi kenyamanan, biaya perkuliahan, penerimaan beasiswa, biaya tambahan serta fasilitas pada FMIPA

Abstract

A concrete roof tile company wanted to improve the quality and reduce product defects or rework of products, but companies in the production of concrete roof tile products still fragile because of strong press tiles that are not in accordance with predetermined specifications.To overcome these problems, have made a study to identify factors that influence control of a strong press and concrete roof tiles to get the best settings in producing a product that is expected to perform design of experiments using Taguchi Method to factors that can be controlled by the Cement ( A), water (B), Fly Ash (C) and Dust Stone (D).Each factor had 3 levels of treatment and based on the total number of free degrees in this experiment the orthogonal matrix ( 13 )27 L 3 is used. Based on the results obtained so semenyang largest contribution to the average strength of concrete roof tile press, which is 18.642% of dust and rock that is a combination of 8.167% and the right to obtain a strong tap-concrete roof tiles desired .
