Abstract

Since deregulation in 1999, the development of the Indonesian aviation industry has continued to develop. However, many airlines still face various problems before and during flights. Problems in the plane, ranging from engine problems, technical problems, tire damage, cockpit problems to air pressure problems. Airlines customers have personal considerations and preferences when choosing an airline. The many choices and many considerations of airlines often confuse customers. To solve this problem, a decision support system (DSS) can be used to provide advice in selecting airlines based on customer preferences. This study uses the FUCOM-MARCOS method, using 8 criteria and 6 testing alternatives. When using FUCOM to calculate criterion weights, it appears that the factor price (C5) is the factor that counts most. Calculations using FUCOM-MARCOS show that Garuda Indonesia is the favorite airline in Indonesia with a preference value of 0.7390, followed by Citilink in second place, and Batik Air in third. Testing using consistency analysis shows that Garuda Indonesia remains stable and is the first choice by being ranked first 15 times out of 17 tests, with an average ranking distribution reaching 1.23466.

Abstract

Nowadays, web-based technology is used as a source of information and marketing, one of which is educational institutions. This development unintentionally changes people's reading patterns, from paper to online media. However, user engagement and reading behavior on a web-based system is often overlooked while developing the plan. Understanding these two pillars can help the improvement process become more effective. Politeknik Caltex Riau has an official website that provides information about campus life and an introduction to study programs for prospective students. The information provided is quite complete and precise, yet there are many repeated questions. One example is the web visitors who are interested and asks about the registration steps, but the info is clearly on the website. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the understanding of the demographics, engagement, behavior, and events by implementing Google Analytics on the website. From the results, it is known that the visitors are on target. The majority of readers are high schoolers who are actively looking for university information. Many of them use smartphones to surf the website, though it is recognized that most readers do not read the content thoroughly. It can be seen from the total scroll event, which is only high at the beginning and keep decreasing while scrolling down the page. But the bounce and sessions number keep rising. This phenomenon shows that the reader's engagement with the content is shallow, and reading comprehension is vague. In addition, there is also an indication of the effect of smaller screen size with the web design model as one of the reasons for the high jump rate. Thus, further studies can focus on deepening and evaluating web design and evaluating more indicators provided on Google Analytics.

Abstract

In the world of higher education, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. Good quality will give good results as well, to improve the quality of each lecturer, it is necessary to have an award given to lecturers from the campus so that it becomes a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality given to students and the community. Amik Mitra Gama is a private campus located in the Duri Riau area, in this case to improve the quality of education one of the steps taken is to give awards and appreciation to the best lecturers who will be selected every year. To realize this, we need an easy calculation system that is carried out in the form of ranking according to the final value, therefore a decision support system using the ARAS method is chosen because it is very appropriate for the selection process and provides convenience in the calculations which are determined based on ranking. The decision support system using the ARAS method uses 8 criteria that are set as a reference in determining the best lecturers, namely Recent Education, Lecturer Functional Position, Lecturer Certification, Number of Journal Publications, Roles in Research, Journal Publication History, Research Grants, and Community Service. There are 10 lecturers in the field of computers who will be used as alternative data with lecturer codes D01, D02, D03, D04, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D10. The results obtained from this study are the lecturer code D04 = 0.0974, D06 = 0.0965, D09 = 0.0932, D07 = 0.0903, D03 = 0.0901 was selected as the best lecturer in 2021/2022. So that the results of this study can help the campus to determine the best lecturers every year fairly and be selected based on rankings.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a disorder that affects the kidneys and arises due to various factors. Chronic kidney disease, usually develops slowly and is chronic. For prevention and control, proper treatment is needed, so that detection of this disease can play a very important role. This study aims to determine the level of accuracy in predicting chronic kidney disease through SVM based on forward selection and to determine the performance of Feature Selection which is applied to the SVM method in solving problems in chronic kidney disease. This research was conducted an experiment on the SVM method using various kinds of kernels and it was seen that SVM with the dot kernel was 98.50% with AUC 1,000 which was superior to the polynominal kernel and RBF. However, when the experiment was carried out again by applying FS to SVM, it was found that SVM+FS with the RBF kernel outperformed the other kernels by 99.75% with AUC 1,000. So it can be concluded that the Forward Selection of SVM has succeeded in improving its performance, especially in this case, namely the prediction of chronic kidney disease

Abstract

Cholesterol is one of the fat compounds found in the bloodstream that are necessary for the formation of several hormones and new cell walls in the liver. Normal cholesterol levels in the human body are in the range of < 200 mg / dL. If cholesterol levels in the blood are abnormal or excessive, it can result in dangerous diseases such as heart disease or stroke. In this study, cholesterol disease prediction will be carried out using models formed from linear regression methods, so that the results of this study can be used as a reference for early prevention of cholesterol disease and become a means of decision making. Linear regression is one of the prediction methods in data mining that can be used to find out how dependent variables/criteria can be predicted through independent variables or predictor variables individually. In this study by utilizing some data of patients with cholesterol disease that has been stored in the database using several attributes, namely age, BMI, glucose, and cholesterol. So by applying a linear regression algorithm can be done a prediction in the identification of cholesterol diseases based on functional relationships on the attributes in the data. The results of this study showed an RMSE value of 0.347 with a standard deviation of /- 0.000. This shows that the model resulting from linear regression algorithms with the above cases is quite accurate.

Abstract

Sanctions need to be given to students who do not obey school rules, and the purpose is to establish student discipline and ethics. SMK Gazza Wiguna 1 Megamendung Bogor district also imposes sanctions for students who violate the rules of conduct. The problem is that determining the violation point has not been done objectively. To overcome this, applying the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Method (SMART) method to the decision support system to determine recommendations for sanctions for students who commit violations. This system is designed to use UML tools and is built on a web basis. The system uses an alternative oral warning, first warning letter, second warning letter, third warning letter, and returned to parents (DO). The criteria include violation of school uniforms, tidiness, discipline, cleanliness, order, hospitality, commemorating national holidays, and additional provisions. The type of criteria used is the cost criteria because it is expected that students do not violate school rules; if students commit violations, it is hoped that students do not commit serious transgressions.

Abstract

The statue is part of the heritage facial recognition process which is immobile and artistically stylized. Identifying the similarities between the statues can help provide an important reference for tourism in recognizing the faces of the statues which are different and have almost the same characteristics in every country, especially in Indonesia, among the facial recognition of the statues based on the condition, color, and shape of the face. The purpose of this study is to apply the original images that have characteristics, partially done manually to various types of transformations and calculate matching evaluation parameters such as the number of key points in the image, the level of matching, and the required execution time for each algorithm. To confirm the efficiency of the proposed method, experiments were carried out on private data sets obtained from statues under low light conditions and in different poses. The data was taken based on the image of the Buddha's face and matched with the facial image of the Buddha statue available in the database using comparisons resulting from data processing using the Sift and ORB methods with various types of transformations. The result will be seen in the image that is matched with the best algorithm for each type of distortion. The faces tested are images of the faces of the Buddha statues that are recognized, and photos of some of the original statues that were not saved due to unclear lighting and camera distance factors. The results show that the number of key points generated is the number of key points, the ORB method gives fewer results compared to the SIFT method and the average SIFT recognition and processing time shows better performance for an average of 100% at a SIFT matching rate of 2% with time 0.400285 and the ORB method is 1% for the time 0.400961
