Abstract

In the world of higher education, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. Good quality will give good results as well, to improve the quality of each lecturer, it is necessary to have an award given to lecturers from the campus so that it becomes a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality given to students and the community. Amik Mitra Gama is a private campus located in the Duri Riau area, in this case to improve the quality of education one of the steps taken is to give awards and appreciation to the best lecturers who will be selected every year. To realize this, we need an easy calculation system that is carried out in the form of ranking according to the final value, therefore a decision support system using the ARAS method is chosen because it is very appropriate for the selection process and provides convenience in the calculations which are determined based on ranking. The decision support system using the ARAS method uses 8 criteria that are set as a reference in determining the best lecturers, namely Recent Education, Lecturer Functional Position, Lecturer Certification, Number of Journal Publications, Roles in Research, Journal Publication History, Research Grants, and Community Service. There are 10 lecturers in the field of computers who will be used as alternative data with lecturer codes D01, D02, D03, D04, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D10. The results obtained from this study are the lecturer code D04 = 0.0974, D06 = 0.0965, D09 = 0.0932, D07 = 0.0903, D03 = 0.0901 was selected as the best lecturer in 2021/2022. So that the results of this study can help the campus to determine the best lecturers every year fairly and be selected based on rankings.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia recently implemented a National Health Insurance program while simultaneously grappling with the challenge of unmet family planning needs. Objective: This study aimed to examine the correlation between health insurance ownership and the utilization of family planning methods among married/in-union women in Indonesia. Methods: This study employed secondary data analysis using the 2017 Indonesian Demography and Health Survey (IDHS). The analysis included a sample of 18,411 married/in-union women. Univariate, bivariate (Chi-square test), and multivariate (binary logistic regression) analyses were conducted to examine the relationship between health insurance ownership and the utilization of family planning methods. Results: The analysis revealed that a small proportion of individuals with health insurance utilized family planning services. Several factors were found to be associated with the utilization of family planning services, including ownership of health insurance, women's age, family planning decision-maker, socioeconomic status (as measured by being in the richest quintile), and higher education attainment. Conclusion: The findings of this study provide important insights for policymakers and public health practitioners regarding the integration of national health insurance programs and family planning initiatives in Indonesia. It is crucial to address the low utilization rate of family planning services among those with health insurance. Future research should focus on fostering collaboration among all stakeholders to promote comprehensive education on freely accessible contraceptive methods, aiming to bridge the gap between policy implementation and effective utilization of family planning services.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the provision of breast milk to infants only for 6 months, namely from 0-6 months, without the addition of other liquids such as formula, orange, honey, tea, and water, and without additional solid foods such as bananas, milk porridge, biscuits, rice porridge, and team rice. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of third trimester pregnant women with exclusive breastfeeding at the Puskesmas. This research is a type of surveianalytic research, with a cross sectional stady approach. The population in this study was 130 people with a sample size of 33 people who were taken using the Slovin formula with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Through research, the results of univariate analysis were obtained, namely good knowledge (63.63%), unfavorable attitudes (57.57%), and those who provide exclusive breastfeeding (54.54%) and bivariate analysis, namely knowledge with the Chi-Square statistical test obtained x2count 0.1 and x2table 3.841 so that x2count < x2table then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, the mother's attitude obtained x2count 0.05 and x2table 3.841 so x2count < x2table then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge and attitude of third trimester pregnant women. For health centers, to routinely conduct counseling about exclusive breastfeeding, and explain the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding both for mothers and for babies.
