Abstract

Documents in general are important documents that must arrive at whom the documents are given. Currently, document delivery is still done by someone. With the development of automation technology in industry, robots are needed to help meet their needs quickly. With this, robotics technology was developed to help lighten the work of humans in the future. A document delivery robot is a robot created to help employees deliver documents. This robot can deliver documents automatically. Basically, this document manager robot uses the Line Follower concept, which is by following a predetermined path to the desired room, then the authors develop with the control of the android application (startup). Writing program code using Arduino IDE 1.8.9 and using Android as a robot controller. This robot uses 4 channel line tracker sensors, 2 DC motors and motor drivers as controllers, Arduino uno as the brain in this robot system. The results of this study produce a robot that can deliver documents to two goals by following the control of the user through the android application. The time taken to go to the first room is faster than the robot to go to the second room because of the difference in path length.

Abstract

This study aims to answer empirically one of the biggest challenges faced by immigration in terms of implementing a crossing system, especially related to information technology implemented by the Directorate General of Immigration. The theme chosen is the implementation of the crossing system that has been implemented through autogate technology and the classical implementation of the crossing system. The discussion of this theme is the imbalance in the number of users between the two implementations of the system where the application of this crossing system technology should be able to solve queuing problems and also increase effectiveness and efficiency. This analysis uses descriptive analysis by assessing data and information obtained from various sources. The method used is to describe systematically through the research flow that is researched in a precise, simple and easy to do by conducting a theoretical study to deepen the immigration crossing system. The results of this study are in the form of recommendations that aim to provide a description, explanation, and validation of a phenomenon being studied about immigration crossings.

Abstract

The wonder of the world is cultural wisdom placed in the form of a list of the most important man-made creations. The seven wonders of the world are extraordinary masterpieces that make people think that beauty seems impossible to make in its time. With the advancement of multimedia technology, it needs to be developed into a learning medium about the introduction of the seven wonders of the world 3D using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Augmented Reality (AR) technology is a technology that combines a two- or three-dimensional virtual object into a real three-dimensional environment and then projects those virtual objects into real time. This research aims to attract students who want to see more real how the original form of the monument of the seven wonders of the world. The design uses sketchup software for object creation, Vuforia Augmented Reality app to create android apps and Unity app to process images, sounds, and graphics. The development of this application uses augmented reality technology with Marker Based Tracking method. This method will track marker patterns that have been saved to display digital elements. The ideal distance for marker detection is 20 -90 cm with an angle slope between 0o - 90o.

Abstract

Employees are one of the most important assets owned by a company in its business maintain survival, develop, the ability to compete and earn a profit. Competition in the increasingly competitive business world has spurred companies to strive harder improve the quality of the company. One of the efforts is to improve the quality of resources humans because the quality of good human resources can increase productivity and achievement a company. In order for the quality of employees to be maintained and improved, the company needs to do something employee performance appraisal in the form of determining the best employee. There are several criteria that will be applied several companies in assessing the best employees, but the criteria still vary. This study will discuss the assessment of the best employees by applying seven criteria. seventh These criteria are quality of work, quantity of work, speed of work, mastery of the field, discipline, Initiative, and loyalty. Data analysis using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy process) method. allows mathematical calculations with various criteria. The application will be designed based on website and data to be stored using the mysql database.

Abstract

Students are internal academic and administrative customers in a higher education environment. It is hoped that students as consumers can enjoy good educational services. However, it is necessary to have a forum for channeling the aspirations of student satisfaction levels as a benchmark for higher education performance in providing quality educational services. The focus of this study is the measurement of service satisfaction to students. This study uses the SERVQUAL instrument to measure student satisfaction and data analysis is carried out using the importance performance analysis (IPA) method and testing by creating a web-based questionnaire system design in which the hope is that this system can support university decision making, especially in the Computerized Accounting Study Program, Banjarmasin State Polytechnic Keywords : Education Services, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), web-based.

Abstract

The graduate profile is the role of the graduate of the study program or field of expertise / field of work planned after completing education from the study program. The determination of the profile of study program graduates is generally carried out based on the results of the assessment of stakeholder needs. Based on data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the IT study program is one of the most majors or study programs in Indonesian universities and the highest number of enthusiasts choose this study program each year. Each year, graduates of IT study programs have a large number of graduates, both vocational and non-vocational colleges. The number of IT graduates is large but they have low graduate competencies, even they do not have competencies in the IT field so that their work is not in accordance with the graduate profile that has been designed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to classify the profile of graduates who have worked based on tracer study data using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. This study uses attributes, namely study program, value criteria, gender and field of work and the labels used are status (Linear and Non-Linear). The results of the study on the classification of the profile of graduates using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method show that alumni work not according to the profile of graduated by 73% and according to the profile of graduates by 23%, with a data accuracy rate of 87% and are included in the good classification category.

Abstract

In the work environment of a company, it cannot be denied that the risk of possible work accidents can occur. The number of work accidents in Indonesia shows an increase every year until 2018 which is the highest accident rate in the last 28 years. Historical data of PT. Byung Hwa Indonesia, which is engaged in manufacturing which produces electronic and automotive components, has recorded a number of work accidents that have occurred up to 2019. The data shows that many work accidents are caused by hazards that are not optimally controlled. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the hazard identification process with a risk assessment which aims to identify the factors that can cause work accidents and provide suggestions for controlling the factors that can cause work accidents. The research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach and risk management used in the hazard identification process, namely Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). From the results of the study it can be concluded that, in the activities carried out by the operator on the injection machine there are 12 factors out of 5 activities that can cause work accidents and on the shootblast machine there are 5 factors from 1 activity that can cause work accidents. The total factors that can cause work accidents are 17 factors and the possibility of a work accident occurring at the low level is 24%, medium 41%, and high 35%. There are several ways to minimize the occurrence of work accidents from these 17 factors, namely by providing Personal Protective Equipment (APD) in the form of glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, gloves and arm protectors. Furthermore, socializing the application of Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in work and engineering by redesigning the layout of the existing machines on the production floor.

Abstract

In the field of aviation, the need for weather and climate information is very much needed. Weather and climate information is very helpful for aviation safety. Therefore an upgrade is needed to provide accurate and fast data. In developing this effort, the researchers conducted an information system design with a control system using a Node MCU V3 microcontroller. The sensor used in this research uses a DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity sensors, BMP180 sensor for air pressure sensor, Anemometer Cup JL-FS2 for wind speed sensor and RS485 for cardinal direction sensor. ESP8266 used to send observation data from the design tool to web monitoring. The result of design was a monitoring system for temperature, relative humidity, cardinal pressure and wind speed providing an accuracy correction of -1.4 to 2.10C for air temperature data, correction accuracy of 2.4 to 5.9% RH for humidity data, correction accuracy -1.6 to 1.3 for air pressure data, for data wind directions have a measurement standard error of 32.4%, for eye direction data, and accuracy correction -1.6 to 2.3 knots for data wind speed.

Abstract

Simalungun Batak culture is a custom inherited from previous generations that still exists today. Still, the influence of the development of the current era is the lack of community knowledge of Simalungun Batak cultures such as Batak scripts, Batak traditional houses, musical instruments, and others, this due to the lack of education given to the community especially to school children so that the knowledge of the Simalungun Batak culture becomes less. The introduction of Simalungun Batak culture is applied with a multimedia-based learning model to be more practical and more comfortable to understand, where this learning uses multimedia-based instruction that is on the computer that is said to be Computer-assisted Instruction. The development of schoolchildren's understanding of the teaching of the Simalungun Batak culture has become faster. This is helped by multimedia-based learning that uses instructions from the computer.

Abstract

Cryptography is an encryption technique, where the data to be encrypted will be encrypted using a key to become data that is difficult to read by other parties who do not have a decryption key. The DES algorithm is a symmetric block cipher cryptographic algorithm that uses a block size of 64 bits and a key size of 56 bits. In this study the DES algorithm will be used to encrypt messages. The result of this research is that the length of the file characters is directly proportional to the encryption and decryption process
