Abstract

The world is increasingly developing, along with the development of the times we have to explore ourselves, take advantage of existing technology for daily life. Technological developments are very rapid in various parties and any aspects. The world is now shocked by the corona virus disease, as if it reminds us to better save our health and save our immune system by take a rest and consume vitamins. Viruses that are currently being discussed can be prevented by saving our health, washing hands diligently, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds. Researchers took the initiative to look directly at the field where technology could be inserted in our healthy. From the results of research in the field, researchers found a problem in washing hands. Everyone, before or after washing their hands must be holding a soap bottle and water tap. It can cause new problems, which the virus can stick to the hands again through the water tap that the person had previously held. From the analysis of this problem, researchers want to make new innovations to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This innovation is a smart system design, where the system is integrated on its own without anyone's help. The work system uses sensors that are fully automatic. It is hoped that this tool can function and be applied to the society

Abstract

Water is used as one of the primary needs for humans and is also an exemplary process for the human body and other living things, so that clean water is needed when it is consumed. There are various ways to purify water, starting from using natural ingredients to using artificial materials. One method of purification that can be done is by finely grinding the moringa seeds so that the dirt in the water becomes a coagulant. This process is called the coagulation-flocculation method. The purpose of this method is that the purified water has a pH value of around seven and also has a high clarity level value. In order for the data collection process to be accurate, pH and turbidity sensors are needed to measure directly. The pH sensor is used as a measure of acidity and turbidity as a measure of clarity. Based on the results of research and testing tools in the field, the more biocoagulant powder given, namely moringa seeds, can increase the pH value and can reduce the turbidity value in water, with research evidence that in Experiment 1, the pH and turbidity values before purification were 7, 00 and 2940.70 NTU so that when entering Tube 2 and Tube 3 the pH and turbidity values become 7.38 and 2876.30 NTU. In Experiment 2, the pH and turbidity values before purification were 7.0 and 2940.70 NTU so that when entering Tube 2 and Tube 3, the pH and turbidity values were 8.08 and 2789.5 NTU. In Experiment 3, the pH and turbidity values before purification were 7.0 and 2940.70 NTU, and after being purified through Tube 2 and Tube 3, the pH and turbidity values were 8.25 and 2394.63 NTU.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a decision support system using the Weighted Product (WP) method in the selection of scholarship recipients. With the Weighted Product (WP) method, it can be more efficient and more practical in processing scholarship recipient data. This research was conducted with observation and interviews to collect data. There are 4 criteria as references used in decision making to determine which students are eligible for scholarships. These criteria consist of: cumulative achievement index (C1), number of credits that can be taken (C2), achievement in extracurricular activities (C3), income of parents (C4). And the alternative used when processing the data, namely as many as 10 sample data taken randomly from the many prospective scholarship recipients.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is an automotive manufacturing industry. In productivity, PT. XYZ supplied the products of several suppliers. Therefore, it requires a measure of quality assurance for suppliers and supply items so that PT. XYZ may obtain more items according to the established standards. Process Change Request (PCR) is the application for standard supply change on components such as 4M (Man, Machine, Method, Material). The process grooves and PCR forms are standardized and listed on the SQAM (Supplier Quality Manual Assurance). Supplier Quality Assurance Manual (SQAM) is associated with ISO 9001 about its quality management and process systems. The flow of processes and PCR forms has been found a problem of misalignment between the ideal time and the actual time of implementation of the PCR phase, which has slowed down the supply of PT. XYZ. In the study a plan to improve the process flow and PCR forms by applying the kaizen concept approach (continuous improvement) using PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) methods step plan and fishbone diagram.

Abstract

Smartphones are mobile phones that are equipped with a variety of features and specifications that are beyond qualified normal function. Nowadays cell phones are not rare items because almost everyone in the world have cell phones especially people in Indonesia. Most of them already use smartphones and even making smartphones a primary need. In addition, software improvement and hardware for cellphones and smartphones is growing rapidly in order to meet market needs. Para vendors are aggressively releasing the latest products almost every day so that the number and types of smartphones increasingly diverse. Prices, features and specifications for each type of smartphone also vary. This is what causing potential consumers to be confused about what kind of smartphone is suitable for them because there are so many once an option is available. Based on this, it is necessary to build a support system decision to help determine the smartphone that fits the criteria and needs The method used in making the decision to choose the best smartphone is Topsis. The Topsis method is a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) method TOPSIS is able to provide more consistent results compared to other methods and systems applying the TOPSIS method is easier to understand and use.

Abstract

The solar cell module absorbs electrons from sunlight where the electrons are converted through a semiconductor intermediary in the solar cell module. In Kalimantan, in particular, it has the potential to install a Solar Power Plant because it is traversed by the equator. However, there are various disadvantages of the Solar Power Plant, namely the building is quite large, so it needs extra monitoring so that all the conditions of the Solar Power Plant can be known. One of the data communication methods in question is using the telemetry method or long distance communication. There are many ways for the telemetry method, one of which is to use a wireless system with a connection to a cloud storage database. In short, data in the field can be sent to users wherever they are. Data sent to previous users is sent through a cloud storage database where the data can be accessed by anyone. For data sent from the Solar Power Plant in the form of incoming and outgoing voltages as well as incoming and outgoing currents. Based on the research results, it is known that the design of the data transmission system for incoming and outgoing voltages as well as incoming and outgoing currents is made from a variety of component tools used are the solar cell module, Robotdyn Mega Wi-Fi, voltage sensor, current sensor, SCC, inverter, and battery. In the process of sending data using a Wi-Fi router, data originating from the sensor is sent to Robotdyn where inside Robotdyn there is a Wi-Fi module which will then be assisted to be forwarded via a Wi-Fi router whose internet network source uses GSM. The data sent to the cloud storage database is assisted by the PHP programming language and to display the website using the HTML programming language.

Abstract

Competition between industries currently requires the industry to continue to improve in improving the industrial system. Machine flexibility is one of the programs to improve industry's ability to increase competitiveness. In meeting consumer demand, general purpose machines have become one of the foundations for industrial systems in producing various types of products. Machine performance will decrease in line with the age of the machine / component and the length of the machine's operation. Maintenance planning / component replacement is one way to reduce downtime. A lathe is a general purpose machine, which has components that are often damaged, such as gear and control cables, which cause a lot to stop using the machine. Scheduling replacing components is a vital process in reducing lost time and minimizing costs arising from decreased machine performance. The focus of this research is determining the component replacement schedule that can meet these two criteria. This can be achieved by applying the age replacement method. The Age Replacement method is basically looking for a balance point between the probability of component failure and component reliability to obtain the optimal probability value of total down time. By estimating the pattern of component failure with the Weibull distribution, calculations are made for the two components that are most frequently damaged on a lathe. The results obtained are the time to replace the components, the replacement period and the costs arising from the optimal replacement of these components. By paying attention to the total down time probability value, it can be concluded that the optimal time to apply preventive replacement on the gear component and the control cable component.

Abstract

Indonesia has many sources of vegetable oil that can be used as a renewable energy source. One of the vegetable oil sources with great potential to be developed is palm fruit (Nypa Fruticans Wurmb). Nipah fruit is one of the raw materials used in this study, using the extraction method and methanol as the solvent. The research was conducted with various mass variations of 30 grams, 35 grams, 40 grams, 45 grams and 50 grams. The extracted oil is characterized by a fragrant odor, clear yellow color and is volatile. From the results of the extraction of nipah fruit then tests were carried out which included% Yield, pH, Free Fatty Acid (FFA), Iodine Number and Density. From the test results, it was found that the average yield of palm fruit oil was 11.634%, where the highest% yield was found in the 35 gram sample, the pH number for 5 samples showed the number 6,% FFA of palm fruit oil on average 0.8%, the iod number of fruit oil nipah an average of 0.0272 and the specific gravity of nipah fruit oil an average of 0.654 gram / ml.

Abstract

One of the causes of the increase in Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is the decrease factor in exclusive breastfeeding to infants. Based on the Statistics Center (BPS) in 2016 covering 49.51% of infants in Indonesia who received exclusive breastfeeding less than 6 months. In this case, multimedia technology can be used to support government programs in Increasing Exclusive ASI Coverage Rates for Indonesian children in accordance with Government Regulation No. 33 of 2012. So, the researchers conducted research using computer-based multimedia learning assistance (CAL) technology for help support the health of several posyandu, puskesmas, and mother and child clinics in promoting exclusive breastfeeding through the Acupressure Technique which can be accessed through the release of the hormone prolactin and the hormone oxytocin in drinking mothers. This multimedia application based on Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) can provide understanding and learning about Acupressure Techniques with visuals that are interesting, easy to understand, and supported by clear audio visuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, dalam era modern ini perkembangan teknologi sangat berkembang pesat dan berinovasi terutama dalam segi teknologi dalam bisnis jasa transportasi, sehingga dengan adanya teknologi transportasi tersebut dapat membantu semua aktivitas masyarakat dalam berbagai semua kalangan,untuk sebab itu hadirnya Grab di kota Pekanbaru.Diharapkan dapat menjawab semua tentang pelayanan dan kepuasan konsumen yang mereka dapatkan manfaatnya melalui aplikasi Grab ini. Penelitian Service Quality ini diolah dengan aplikasi RapidMiner, dengan menentukan 3 variabel yaitu: umur, jenis kelamin, aplikasi. Setelah meninjau literatur dan bidang dan merumuskan hipotesis, data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 200 orang yang telah menggunakannya transportasi Grab di kota Pekanbaru (hanya kecamatan Tampan dan Tenayan Raya) sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif yaitu pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas, dan analisis korelasional. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator dalam penelitian ini valid dan dapat diandalkan.
