Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at knowing the enhancement of student learning motivation on Indonesian subject at the fifth grade of State Elementary School 20 Pekanbaru. This research was instigated by the low of student learning motivation seen on the ongoing learning process that students did not pay attention to the teacher explanation and not want to question. This research was a Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were teachers and the fifth grade students, and the object was Hembusan Angin Kencang strategy in increasing student learning motivation on Indonesian subject. This research was conducted for two circles, every circle comprised two meetings. Observation, and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data. Abstract

Abstrak Proses pembelajaran tidak akan pernah terlepas dari penerapan sebuah strategi atau metode pembelajaran. Setiap metode dan strategi pembelajaran memiliki tujuan tertentu, setiap pendekatan, strategi maupun metode pembelajaran akan memiliki satu ranah pembelajaran yang menonjol meskipun juga mengandung ranah pembelajaran lainnya. Permasalahan yang akan dijawab dalam kajian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yang akan menjawab tentang pendekatan, strategi dan metode pengajaran bahasa. Kajian ini diambil dari naskah-naskah kepustakaan yang relevan dengan topik penelitian yaitu berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data-data hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberpa macam pendekatan, strategi dan metode yang dapat diterapkan oleh seorang guru dalam pengajaran bahasa.. Pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam pengajaran bahasa anatara lain, pendekatan komunikatif, pendekatan integraktif, pendekatan cara belajar siswa aktif, pendekatan belajar kooperatif, pendekatan tujuan, pendekatan sruktural, pendekatan kontekstual (ctl). Menurut Nurhayati, strategi dalam pengajaran bahasa antara lain, dalam keterampilan mendengarkan: demonstrasi cerita pribadi, wawancara, bertelepon, bagan cerita (story maps), survei kelompok, pidato singkat, keterampilan membaca: strategi pemetaan pikiran, lihat dan katakan, keterampilan menulis: mengisi gelembung-gelembung ujaran, membuat salinan nyanyian, membuat daftar, menyusun informasi, menulis catatan, menulis laporan buku, menulis pesan , pesan di kartu ultah, kerja proyek, menulis kreatif , write from the start, menulis laporan suatu peristiwa. Metode menurut KBBI 2001 adalah cara yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan suatu pekerjaan agar tercapai sesuai dengan yang dikehendaki. Metode dalam pengajaran bahasa antara lain: metode audiolingual, metode komunikatif, metode alamiah, metode SAS.

Abstract

Bahasa, disamping sebagai salah satu unsur kebudayaan, memungkinkan pula manusia memanfaatkan pengalaman-pengalaman mereka, mempelajari dan mengambil bagian dalam pengalaman-pengalaman itu, serta belajar berkenalan dengan orang-orang lain. Antara anggota masyarakat hanya dapat dipersatukan secara efisien melalui bahasa. Bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi, lebih jauh memungkinkan tiap orang untuk merasa dirinya terikat dengan kelompok sosial yang dimasukinya, serta dapat melakukan semua kegiatan kemasyarakatan dengan menghindari sejauh mungkin bentrokan-bentrokan untukmemperoleh efisiensi yang setinggi-tingginya. Bahasa memungkinkan integrasi (pembauran) yang sempurna bagi tiap individu dengan masyarakatnya.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengajaran dapat diartikan sebagai suatu proses mengajar. Mengajar adalah penyampaian ilmu kepada orang yang belajar/siswa. Pengajaran bahasa seperti pengajaran lainnya memiliki metodologi yang terdiri dari 4 komponen, yaitu: Pendekatan (Approach), Metode (Method), serta Teknik dan Prosedur (Technique and Procedure). Dalam artikel ini tidak hanya akan membahas tentang hal tersebut, akan tetapi lebih menjurus kepada prinsip-prinsip pengajaran bahasa. Prinsip-prinsip pengajaran bahasa terbagi menjadi tiga ranah, yaitu: kognitif, afektif dan linguistik. Kata kunci: pengajaran, pengajaran bahasa, prinsip pengajaran bahasa. Abstract Teaching can be interpreted as a teaching process. Teaching is the delivery of knowledge to people who learn / students. Teaching languages ​​like other teaching has a Methodology consisting of 4 components: Approach, Method, and Technique and Procedure. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengajran sastra di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan library research. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian pustaka, dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpilkan sebagai berikut :1) tujuan pengajaran sastra di SD lebih diarahkan kepada apresiasi sastra, 2) dengan mempelajari sastra dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis 3) metode yang cocok digunakan untuk pengajaran sastra adalah penyelidikan, observasi lapangan dan diskusi. 4) sumber belajar yang cocok untuk mendukung pengajaran sastra adalah lingkungan alamiah dan sosial budaya, buku-buku pelajaran, audio visual dan internet. Disain pengajaran yang cocok dikembangkan meliputi langkah-langkah: kegiatan awal, penyelidikan dari berbagai perspektif (eksplorasi), elaborasi, konfirmasi, kegiatan akhir. Kata kunci: Pengaaran sastra ABSTRACT The study aims to analyze the teaching of literature in primary schools. Research using library research approach. Data were colleted through central study and observation and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of analysis and discussions can be concluded: 1) the purpuse of teaching literature in elementary school is more directed to the appreciattion of literature, 2) children literature can develop the ability to read and write, 3) suitable menthods used for literary teaching are inquiry, field observation and discussion, 4) sumver learning suitable for suitable learning resources to support literary teaching is the natural and socio-cultural environment, related books, audio, visual and internet. The suitable literary teaching design developed includes the following steps: preliminary activities, investigations from various perspectives of elaborastion exploration of final activity confirmation. Abstract

The language change could occur at all levels, both phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and lexicon. It showed that it is possible to change the language that is the case, the book of grammar will also continue to change according to the changes, hence the old grammar book (TBBBI I) should be less relevant for use again, especially with the book grammar new (TBBBI III) , Based on these issues, this study aimed to describe (1) the grammar in the book TBBBI at the first edition, (2) the grammar in the book of TBBBI at the third edition, (3) the similarities and differences in grammar book TBBBI at the first and the third edition. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the survey results revealed that the two books TBBBI, namely TBBBI I and III of this can be seen that there are similarities and some differences in the content, there are also additional rules (sub theme) which is not found in TBBBI I which shows that language is always evolving. In addition, the change in the name of prefix, the allomorph menge-, classification of transitive and intransitive verbs showes that TBBBI III more relevant to read than TBBBI I.

Abstract

Development was a word we often hear so pragmatic, yet in reality it is not. Development was not only about the availability of infrastructure, buildings and facilities, economic growth and life expectancy. Development was not merely statistics and figures in the balance sheet. Covering all aspects of development where there are opportunities for every individual to flourish with dignity in the face of a changing world. Education was the main thing for the people after basic needs. However, it took a nation's education is education that is fair to everyone both in the physical, psychological and spiritual. In Article 3 of the Law on National Education System stated that the national education serves to develop the ability and character development and civilization dignified nation in the context of the intellectual life of the nation, is aimed at developing students' potentials to become a man of faith and devoted to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and accountable.

Abstract

A research on novel Genesis by Ratih Kumala employed a literary psychological study focusing on literary work as a mental activity (conflict of characters) requiring a holistic analysis to interpret meaning, mandate, and message contained within it. Novel Genesis by Ratih Kumala featured several conflicts affecting its characters’ personality. The conflicts featured in this novel were very complex, either inner conflict or conflict with other characters as human mentality process eventually affecting attitude and conduct. The approach used in this study was descriptive qualitative one. The data of research constituted words, sentence in the form of expression, and dialog between characters indicating the mentality conflict occurring inside the characters on which this study focused. Meanwhile the data source of research was source document, such as books of literary theory, literary psychology and novel Genesis by Ratih Kumala. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling one. Technique of collecting data used in qualitative research was interactive and non-interactive in nature. This study employed theoretical, source or data, and methodological triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used in this research was an interactive analysis one encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The procedure of research included preparation, implementation and presentation of research result. The psychological aspect of character existing in novel Genesis by Ratih Kumala employed Sigmund Freud’s theory distinguishing personality into three types: ide, Ego, and Superego. Literary psychological research was based on these three psychological domains. In novel Genesis, the author had the reason why she featured a nun represented as capable of providing positive nuance to readers’ perception on a nun submitting her entire life to God and avoided from the author’s determination as if she wanted to confirm that every human being encountering problem in his/her life should submit to his/her fate, submit everything to God’s destiny and get closer to God. Pawestri disentangled her tension in her life by deciding to be a nun as the form of her submission to God because she could not retain burden of her past memories, the reason why she preferred living celibate.

Abstract

Language is the main customs of communication for human being life. Anacusis is total loss or absence of the ability to perceive sound as such. It also known as deafness. Because of brain plasticity changes during early childhood, children who have not acquired a first language in the early years might never be completely fluent in any language. An alternative to speech-exclusive approaches to language acquisition for deaf children exists in the use of sign languages such as Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI), where acquiring a sign language is subject to the same time constraints of spoken language development. This study is intended to find out the answer to the following questions : (1) Which are educational method and communication method used in learning English for Anacusis learners, (2) How well do Anacusis learners acquire English as a foreign language, (3) What problems do Anacusis learners face in learning English. A descriptive qualitative research design was used in this study. The data of this study were observation result. The source of data in this study was drawn by using simple stratification sampling technique. The number of data used as discussion material of this study was 3 data. Documentary or content analysis was used to collect the data. The data were collected from interview result, observation checklist and test result by identifying the contents. The data are analyzed by describe the result of collected data, and then compare the finding with certain statement from some scientist and recently researchers. The result of the study showed that Anacusis learners able to acquire English as a foreign language although need a little harder effort compared with non hearing impairment learners. It cause the lack of their ability to arrange a right structure of sentence. Based upon the findings and conclusions, (1) The English teachers suggested to pay attention to the students’ condition when the teaching and learning process is being done, (2) The students should keep intention in learning English, and (3) The next researcher suggested to do research more complete about language acquisition and find the simple way to learn more vocabularies and hopefully makes the students can make a sentence in simple form or answer the short question in English fluently.

Abstract

absence of a follow-up to apply. This will make only limited students to understand it without any desire to apply the knowledge they have acquired. Students became bored and did not obtain the maximum results. Based on the above background, the researcher tried to use an alternative method is the application of contextual approach with community learning techniques with the aim to describe (1) lesson planning; (2) the implementation of learning; (3) assessment of learning; (4) the response of students in learning writing a drama with contextual approach with community learning techniques in class XI MA Tanwiriyah Kalisari Baureno in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the survey results revealed that the description of the application of contextual approach to community learning techniques on the learning writing a drama in terms of: (1) planning of learning has been categorized well, this is evidenced in the learning process that is effective and has achieved the purpose of research; (2) the implementation of learning visits from student activity categorized well with the percentage of 78.33%; (3) assessment of student learning are in a good level with the classical learning completeness 90.71%; and (4) the response of students that are in the category of a very good result with the response of the classical percentage 90.30%.
