In recent years, contingent and survivor workers have emerged as a common reality in business activities. Unfortunately, contingent worker has high job insecurity on his employment status. On the other side, downsizing activities can result in decreasing job security of survivor worker. As a consequence, both contingent and survivor workers very potential have low organizational commitment. However, organizations still have an opportunity to give their workers an exclusive treatment for building organizational commitment without ignoring the fact that workers have other commitment foci.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of internal individual factors (such as auditor organizational commitment and turnover intention) on acceptance of a premature sign-off. The data sources of this study were auditors who working in audit firms in Indonesia. The data was collected using survey method by sending questionnaires to the respondents by mail. There were 236 respondents participating in this study. The result of this study shown that organizational commitment and turnover intention have influence to acceptance of a premature sign-off. Organizational commitment has influence to turn over intention. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal individu (seperti komitmen organisasional auditor dan turnover intention) pada penerimaan prematur sign-off. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah auditor yang bekerja di perusahaan audit di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan mengirimkan kuesioner kepada responden melalui pos. Ada 236 responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan turnover intentionmempunyai pengaruh terhadap penerimaan prematur sign-off. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh pada turn over.

This study aims to analysis the impact of fiscal and monetary policy in Indonesian economy by using Mundell Fleming (IS-LM-BOP) model. The main objective of this paper is to see the impact of fiscal and monetary policy to Indonesia Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Indonesia as a small open economy with imperfectly capital mobility, so temporary thesis of the Mundell-Fleming model is that monetary policy more effective than fiscal policy in improving of the GDP, that caused by its crowding out effect yielded from expansive\ fiscal policy. A variant of the Mundell Fleming model for the Indonesian economy is constructed and analysed using the Two Stage Least Square Methods (2sls). The result of two stage least square estimation indicating that the impact of monetary policy with money supply(M2) instrument is more effective in improving GDP than fiscal policy with government expenditure instrument . This result is proved with influences which are positive and significant among money supply (M2) variable and GDP from demand side. However, goverment expenditure variables give positive effect but not significant to the GDP. These finding support the Hypothesis of model Mundell-Fleming

FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) is believed to be one important source of financing for developing countries including Indonesia. The presence of FDI is expected to provide a substantial contribution to development through the transfer of assets, technology and managerial skills to improve an economic growth. This research analyzes the effect of FDI on economic growth in Indonesia in the period 2006 to 2010. The method of analysis used Pooled Least Square (PLS). The variables employed in this study are economic growth, growth of FDI, growth of export and growth of import. By applying the panel data model is expected to be known to what extent the presence of FDI in promoting economic growth in Indonesia. Calculation results showed that the growth of FDI and import growth have a negative impact on economic growth in Indonesia, while the growth of exports has a positive effect on economic growth. These results indicate that the main driver of economic growth still depends on exports. FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) diyakini menjadi salah satu sumber penting pembiayaan bagi negara-negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Kehadiran FDI diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang besar bagi pembangunan melalui transfer aset, teknologi dan keterampilan manajerial untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh FDI terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia pada periode 2006 hingga 2010. Metode analisis yang digunakan Pooled Least Square (PLS). Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, pertumbuhan FDI, pertumbuhan ekspor dan pertumbuhan impor. Dengan menerapkan model data panel ini diharapkan akan diketahui sejauh mana kehadiran FDI dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan FDI dan pertumbuhan impor berdampak negatif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia, sedangkan pertumbuhan ekspor memiliki efek positif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekonomi masih tergantung pada ekspor.

The objective of the study was to analyze the factors have influenced the increasing of investment, technology improvement, labor absorption, production and export of the exporting small and medium enterprises. An econometric model using simultaneous equations of the economic sectoral pooled data has resulted that the technology of exporting small and medium enterprises was weakness, so that the government could to improve the technology by improving human capital and by expanding its expenditures.

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational climate on job satisfaction and employees commitment at the Indonesia Open University. The methode used was survey. The data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 269 employees at UT using stratified random sampling. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to test hypotheses using SmartPLS software. The result shows that organizational climate does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. However, organizational climate has a significant effect on employees commitment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen karyawan di Universitas Terbuka Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 269 karyawan di UT menggunakan stratified random sampling. Structural Equation Model (SEM) digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi tidak memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Namun, iklim organisasi memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap komitmen karyawan.

Economic growth basically measures the ability of a country to expand output faster rate than population growth rate. Exports and investment are important in increasing the rate of economic growth. Exports would generate foreign exchange that will be used to finance imports, especially imports of raw materials and capital goods needed in the production process which will shape the value added. Aggregation of the value added generated by all units of production in the economy is the value of Gross Domestic Product. Investment or capital investment is also a component of value added to national building, which is the purchase of capital goods and production equipment to improve the ability to produce goods needed in the economy. Using OLS method, it shows that economic growth is positively correlated to government investment, private investment, and non oil exports. While,oil and gas export gives negative influence to economic growth. Overall government investment, private investment, oil and gas exports and non-oil exports are able to explain variation economic growth of 98.9 percent while the rest explained by other factors.

This research aims to know the impact of price subsidy on change in output of product sector as well as the influence of the subsidy on the level of household income in Central Java. This research used input-output and SAM (Social Accounting Matrix) analysis. To analyze the impact of fertilizer price subsidy on the changes in output, this research used supply side aproach with matrix output inverse. While to know fertilizer price subsidy on household income, this research used SAM analysis analysis that stimulated the impact of fertilize price by income distribution patern analysis by using Matrix Decomposition Analysis. The research to referred SNSE Central Java 2004. The findings showed that fertilizer price subsidy in Central Java 2008 affected changes in output. The sector that showed highest changes was chemistry industrial and fertilizer sector (Rp 2.122.497 million), followed by mining sector ( Rp 1.274.906 million). Subsidy of fertilizer price in Central Java also affected the total increase in household income in Central Java (0,6435 percents). The household that showed income increases was simulation analysis was farmer entrepreneur household that showed income increase Rp 257.288,92 million or rise as high as 0,6024 percents. The second highest increase was urban affairs upper crust household with value of Rp 257.046,84 million.

In order to be able to seize the opportunities that a dynamic operating environment opens up, entrepreneurial SMEs have to reconfigure their existing asset base and processes. This study explores the effect of behavioral commitment on entrepreneurial orientation process and a firms reconfiguring network capabilities on performance by using survey data from 105 owners/manajers of batik SMEs in Sragen batik centrer, Central Java. Our findings indicate that indirectly, a SMEs entrepreneurial orientation have higher influence on SMEs performance through behavioral commitment; and reconfiguring network capabilities have an effect on its international performance and provide empirical support for the dynamic capability view of the firm. Entrepreneurial orientation process combined with behavioral commitment reconfiguring capabilities constitutes a potential source of competitive advantage. Dalam rangka untuk mendapatkan peluang usaha di lingkungan yang dinamis dan terbuka, UKM yang berorientasi wirausaha harus mengkonfigurasi lagi proses-proses bisnis dan asset yang dimiliki saat ini. Studi ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh komitmen perilaku terhadap proses orientasi wirausaha dan pengaruh konfigurasi kapabilitas jejaring perusahaan/UKM terhadap kinerja usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Data yang digunakan berasal dari 105 pemilik/manajer UKM batik di sentra batik Kabupaten Sragen. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah: secara tidak langsung orientasi wirausaha mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kinerja usaha UKM yang dimediasi oleh variabel komitmen perilaku; dan rekonfigurasi kapabilitas jejaring usaha mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja internasionalnya dan memberikan bukti dukungan empiris terhadap pandangan kapabilitas dinamis perusahaan. Proses orientasi wirausaha dikombinasikan dengan komitmen perilaku mekonfigurasi lagi kapabilitas yang menjadi sumber potensial keunggulan daya saing.

Rapid external changes without being followed by internal changes will have a negative impact on tertiary institutions. Internal change begins with the ability of senior lecturers because they are at the forefront in following changes. Organizational commitment is evidenced by the high quality of the lecturers? work ability. This study utilized combined research methods or exploratory mix methods with data taken from forlap dikti and Sinta, and quantitative and qualitative analysis using WAI (Work Ability Index). Results of the study showed that the work ability of senior lecturers is lacking (0.1-1), while organizational commitment is still low as evidenced by the results of scientific journals during the past three years. The innovation of this study is the Emotional Work Community (EWC) as a concept model to improve lecturers' performance abilities that are lacking.
