Abstract

Character education is a deliberate attempt to help people understand, care about and act according to ethical values. Since 2003 the character education is expected to be implemented by all educational units are integrated in classroom learning and school culture. Character education in schools need basic principles are easy to understand and be understood by students and each individual. In the implementation of character education includes three bases, that is class-based, culture-based and community-based campus. Ten characters are quite dominant implemented in STIK Bina Husada, namely religious, honest, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, creative, independent, caring social, democratic, and recognize excellence.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) focuses on students ability to analyze, justify, and communicate ideas effectively, formulate, solve and interpret mathematical problems in a variety of forms and situations. Assessment is used to focus on problems in real life, regardless of the situation or problem that is often discussed in the classroom. Judging from the age of cognitive development, primary school students are still bound by concrete objects that can be captured by the five senses. In the abstract mathematics learning, students need learning tools such as media and props to further clarify what will be delivered by teachers so that they can more quickly understood and understood by students. Learning math is expected to give students an understanding of integrated, comprehensive and holistic about the material that has been presented. The understanding is not only meets the demands of substantive mathematics learning, but can provide significant benefits to students, this is in accordance with the purpose of contextual learning. Where contextual learning is an approach to learning that emphasizes the involvement of students in full process to be able to find the material studied and relate them to real life situations that encourage students to be able to apply it in their daily lives. There are four steps in implementing contextual learning, namely: motivation, comprehension, application, and assessment based on the components of contextual learning.

Abstract

Abominable human morals which marked one of them with acts of corruption continue to be entrenched, there is even a fear that this culture regenerates attack children. This article is aimed confirm the presence of anti-corruption education as a part of moral education in the perspective of Islamic religious education. The essence of corruption is the misuse of authority with the aim of benefit and enrich themselves to the detriment of others. Corruption is identical with, or ineffective or irresponsible, ungrateful for the gift of God and kept up-to feel deprived, not sociable because of corruption harm others, and dishonest. For prevention, one of the strategic action is to make a move together through anti-corruption education. Anti-corruption education as a part of moral education in the perspective of Islamic religious education is derived from the Quran are expected to instill and develop virtues in the young generation, as trustee or responsible, grateful for the gift of God Almighty, and honest as forms of devotion to Allah (subject to the order of Allah).

Abstract

Lecturers as educators have a lot of teaching skills, it will be easier to motivate student learning in achieving optimal learning results. In connection with the teaching skills must be owned educators, Mardia Conservation stated that there are some basic skills teaching should possess an educator, namely: 1) Skills opening lesson; 2) Skills to ask; 3) Skill provide reinforcement; 4) Skill held variation; 5) Skills to explain; and 6) classroom management skills (Mardia Conservation, 2008: 204). From teaching some basic skills that should be possessed by an educator above, it is clear that the duty to teach for an educator is not an easy task. Teaching is to guide student activities, arranging and organizing the environment that is around students so as to encourage and foster the spirit of students for learning activities. This study aims to investigate the implementation of basic skills teaching faculty in the teaching of Islamic Education in STIK Bina Husada Palembang, and to determine the success rate of students from faculty aspect using basic skills teaching faculty in the teaching of Islamic Education in STIK Bina Husada Palembang. This study is qualitative and qualitative method with research informants 3 PAI lecturers and students of Public Health Semester 3 2015/2016 academic year, amounting to 18 people. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of basic skills teaching faculty in learning STIK Bina Husada PAI in Palembang is good. This is according to the results of interviews and observations the author of the aspects observed include the skills to explain, questioning skills, skills provide variety of stimulation, skills provide reinforcement, skill opened the lessons and skills to close the lesson, teaching skills of small groups and individuals, and classroom management skills , As for the success rate of students from the aspect of teachers use teaching basic skills in learning STIK Bina Husada PAI in Palembang, among others, in view of the effectiveness, attractiveness, interest, and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Multi-dimensional problems of the crisis concerning the foundations of a very demanding their efforts to solve urgent. Problematic concerning the order of values in society one of them is the problem of corruption that never ended. Because the more acute the problem, some people consider corruption in Indonesia has become a culture and even a virus epidemic which must be fought together. This article aims to reinforce the return of Islamic education in fostering anti-corruption code. Because in Islam it is clear that corruption (such as bribery, kickbacks, extortion, graft and other forms of corruption) are accursed act, haraam and got serious threat doomsday at the end of the perpetrator. Corruption, impact in many peoples lives, whether economic, political, social and cultural. Generally, corruption reduce the quality of public services. As a victim of corruption, the society that most felt the impact of corruption. Role of Islamic Education can be applied in the School/Madrasah teachers and parents in the community. For teachers train students consciousness to fight and prevent corruption of the smallest things that is cheating, ditching and violating school rules. Parent and anti-corruption education should be taught to children from childhood, as familiarize honesty, responsibility and homely.

Abstract

Efforts character formation of students in the face of contemporary life into educational challenge. Various community environmental problems regarding juvenile delinquency make anxiety for families, schools and communities. To respond to this need educational institutions that contributed to the formation of student character. Schools that implement the values of religion in the curriculum and the learning will make the conditioning and training for the student to improve his character. Full day school system is a full day school designed to give a quality learning, form the character better learners by habituation given, as well as the achievements obtained more leverage and quality. Interest full day school education system is to provide a solid foundation to develop and improve Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Spiritual Quotient (SQ) with a variety of effective innovation and real-time. With the full day school program, students can avoid all kinds of negative influences outside the school. Full day school supervision of students when parents are busy working, not able to provide good supervision each day, teachers and schools will be taking a big role in the education of children. Full day school students will be able to lead to the formation of personality and character, through habituation-conditioning when students practice the knowledge they have received while staying at the teachers supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrated learning and cognitive style on learning outcomes of IPS students, integrated learning is a model of spider webs (webbed) and a model connected (connected) while the cognitive style consists of field dependent and field independent. This research was conducted in class IVa, IVb Elementary School 03 am Jakata Cawang East semester academic year 2013/2014. The study involved 68 students in the sample were selected grouping rough. Data collected using the instrument in the form of multiple-choice tests .The data obtained was analyzed using Two Way ANAVA method. The study revealed the following conclusions: (1) The results of social studies taught a group of students learning model cobwebs (webbed) students are taught higher connectednes s model (connected), (2) learning outcomes IPS group of students who have cognitive style field dependent higher than the group of students who choose a field independent cognitive styles. (3)There is an interaction effect between the use of an integrated model of learning and cognitive style on learning outcomes IPS. (4)For groups of students are given learning model cobwebs (webbed), learning outcomes between students who have a field-dependent cognitive style higher than in the group of students who have a field-independent cognitive styles. (5) For a given group of students learning model model of connectedness (connected), IPS learning outcomes between students who have a field-dependent cognitive style higher than the students who have the cognitive style field-independet. (6) For students who have cognitive style dependet, social studies outcomes between groups of students are given learning model cobwebs (webbed) is higher than that given to the student learning model of connectedness (connected). (7) For a group of students who have a field-dependent cognitive style, learning outcomes between students who are awarded IPS learning model cobwebs (webbed) is higher than that given to the student learning model of connectedness (connected)

Abstract

Prospects local knowledge is very dependent on how communities preserve local wisdom back and how people change their mindset back to the holistic mindset. So that the natural resources and the natural environment in the communities can be utilized and preserved without disturbing the balance. Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture, Number 54 of 2013 on competency standards primary and secondary education. Stated that graduates SD / MI / SDLB / Package A has the attitude, knowledge and skills. Elementary school age (approximately ages 6-12) is an important stage in the implementation of character education, even fundamental to the success of the character development of students. Children are a national asset that needs to be saved. Since early need to be introduced on ethical values, moral values are high, through the activities of cultural preservation of their local or regional culture. It is unfortunate if only the pursuit of academic education only. Though the success of education must be balanced between academic and non-academic.

Abstract

Study About story telling as a medium to grow character and the value of the nation culture on primary school student. In writing this article used method of descriptive through the study of literature. Character and cultural values is the most important thing to be growing teachers in personal students. Many ways that can be carried by teachers in learning that intended message for well , one of them by means of story telling. Story telling was the creative a teacher to send a toward students , because primary school students could not understand advice pure given .They need learning that are not patronizing , and created a cheerful and agreeable. Story telling be successful when students can focus attention to the stories and well acquainted with been figures, then students considering the contents of the story and store in their memory brain that someday can get back when needed .Then students translate their memory story in brain in the form of behavior show the character and value of the positive nation culture.

Abstract

Personality can be formed through all the experiences and values that are absorbed in thegrowth and development, especially in the first years of age. Therein lies the importancetarbiyyah within the meaning tanmiyah (growth and development). That is a concept ofpersonality formation of children through the cultivation of religious values correspondingguidance of the Koran. So, parents who cultivate the mental physical and mental psychicchild begins, God gives the concept of education is based on the growth process (tanmiyah) inQ.S. al-Isra: 23-24. In this writers research using library research (library research). Theresults of the study concept tarbiyah within the meaning of al-tanmiyah on Q.S. Al-Isra: 23-24indicates that the process of educational development in children is done by plantingkeimanaan values and planting moral values. Planting values of faith including; introduce thename of Allah and His creation, introducing the Prophet and behavior, to teach obedience toAllah and His Messenger. As for planting cultivate moral values in children include; Filial toparents, helping each other, praying in his favor, keeping jani, honest, sincere, kind word,worthy, noble, and gentle to parents and others, Allah forbid servants put out words thatoffend both parents as yell, scold, scold and muddying the feelings of both.
