Abstract

This research was conducted in SDN Se-District of Perbaungan which aims to determine (1) the level of difficulty of teachers in teaching photosynthesismaterial in class V SD Se-District of Perbaungan; and (2) efforts to overcome the difficulties school teachers in teaching photosynthesis material in class V SD Se-District of Perbaungan. The population in this study were all teachers of Class V SDN Se-District of Perbaungan by 43 SDN while the study sample of 40 people classroom teachers from 23 schools SDN Se-District of Perbaungan. The instruments used consist of observation sheets, questionnaires / questionnaire and interview. The results showed that: (1) the level of difficulty Perbaungan sub-district teachers in teaching on the photosynthesismaterial were moderate (59.918%); and (2) efforts to overcome the difficulties school teachers in teaching photosynthesismaterial in class V SD Se-District of Perbaungan include providing training as much as 1 school (4.35%), requiring teachers to follow KKG as much as 1 school (4.35% ), for the moment SDN still difficulties in organizing teacher reference books let alone provide practice tools as much as 4 schools (17.39%), seek to practice using simple tools as much as 4 schools (17.39%), set aside a budget BOS funds as much as 4 schools (17.39%), holding a committee meeting to seek help from the parents of students in 1 school (4.35%), complementary practice tools as much as 2 schools (8.70%), reported to the Office Sub-district for help with practical tools as much as 4 schools (17.39%), and the rest did not respond as much as 2 schools (8.70%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Application of the Comprehensive Learning Approach (Mastery Learning) To Improve Student Learning Outcomes Mathematics Grade V SDN 123 Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study are students SDN 123 Pekanbaru. The number of students is 31 students consisting of 17 male students and 14 female students. The technique used is the instrument of research conducted with observations made by an observer, tests of limited essays, and field notes. This study was conducted by applying the Mastery Learning approach that has been done for three cycles, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the Mastery Learning approach has a positive impact in improving students learning outcomes in the mathematics lesson with the average value of cycle I which is equal to 70.97 and the percentage of mastery of 45.16%. Then after going to cycle II the average value of student learning approach (mastery learning) again increased by 77.42 with a percentage of completeness of 61.29%. However, the increase in cycle II is still not reached the target set previously then dilajutkan in cycle III. In the third cycle, the average value of students learning approach (mastery learning) again increased by 87.42 with the percentage of completeness of 93.55%. The conclusion that the application of the Completed Learning Approach (Mastery Learning) can improve Improve Student Learning Results of VII Students of SDN 123 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Character education is a deliberate attempt to help people understand, care about and act according to ethical values. Since 2003 the character education is expected to be implemented by all educational units are integrated in classroom learning and school culture. Character education in schools need basic principles are easy to understand and be understood by students and each individual. In the implementation of character education includes three bases, that is class-based, culture-based and community-based campus. Ten characters are quite dominant implemented in STIK Bina Husada, namely religious, honest, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, creative, independent, caring social, democratic, and recognize excellence.

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of science students of grade IV of SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru, caused by the lesson learned strategy applied by teachers is less precise. The action taken is the Implementation of the Direct Teaching Model. This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of fourth graders in SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru through Implementation of Direct Teaching Model. This research was conducted in September 2011. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru which amounted to 25 people. This study presents students learning outcomes used to measure student learning outcomes seen from daily repetition I in cycle I and daily repetition II in cycle II, the average of students in the final exam of the first cycle increased by 9.4 points from a base score of 59.2 to 68.6 while in cycle II increased by 11.4 points from cycle I to 80. For teacher activity first meeting cycle I percentage equal to 66,25% and second meeting cycle I percentage equal to 72,5%, first meeting second cycle percentage equal to 77,5% and second meeting in cycle II percentage equal to 86,25%. While on student activity at first meeting of cycle I was 60,75%, second meeting of cycle I was 80,25%, first cycle second meeting was 90,87%, and second meeting second cycle percentage was 95,37%. From the results of the above study note that the Implementation of Direct Instruction Model (Direct Instruction) can improve science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Primary School.

Abstract

The success of oral education is need for a serious and cooperation of all stakeholders, from educational institutions (principals and all components), parents, community, and goverment and central goverment), all do what is best for education, either moral or spiritual. The concept of character education or moral education can be viewed from the standpoint of surah Al-Baqoroh pargraph 186. This paper focuses the discussion on the interpretation ta’dib the words of rasyada-yarsyudu-rusyda (can be manual, straight and well, dodgy) or arsyada-yursyidu-irsyaada (showed the right path) in surah Al-Baqoroh paragraph 186, as well as its implementation in contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) focuses on students ability to analyze, justify, and communicate ideas effectively, formulate, solve and interpret mathematical problems in a variety of forms and situations. Assessment is used to focus on problems in real life, regardless of the situation or problem that is often discussed in the classroom. Judging from the age of cognitive development, primary school students are still bound by concrete objects that can be captured by the five senses. In the abstract mathematics learning, students need learning tools such as media and props to further clarify what will be delivered by teachers so that they can more quickly understood and understood by students. Learning math is expected to give students an understanding of integrated, comprehensive and holistic about the material that has been presented. The understanding is not only meets the demands of substantive mathematics learning, but can provide significant benefits to students, this is in accordance with the purpose of contextual learning. Where contextual learning is an approach to learning that emphasizes the involvement of students in full process to be able to find the material studied and relate them to real life situations that encourage students to be able to apply it in their daily lives. There are four steps in implementing contextual learning, namely: motivation, comprehension, application, and assessment based on the components of contextual learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of fourth graders Elementary School 014 Buluh Kasap by applying direct teaching model. The subject of this research is the fourth grader of SD Negeri 014 Buluh Kasap which is 24 students. The large increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the basic score of 66.45 up 12.87% to 75 in cycle I. Furthermore, in cycle II there is an increase in learning outcomes 21.32% of the basic score with the average UH results of cycle II of 80.62. While for teacher activity and student activity also increase, in cycle I meeting I the percentage of teacher activity is 58,33% with enough category, and increase at meeting II to 72,22% with good category. Furthermore, in the second cycle of meeting I the percentage of teacher activity increased to 83.33% with very good category as well as at the second meeting increased again to 91.66% with very good category. Similarly, student activity, on the first cycle of meeting I the percentage of student activity is 55.55% with sufficient category, and increased at the second meeting to 69.44% with good category. Next on the second cycle of meeting I the percentage of student activity increased to 80.55% with very good category as well as at the second meeting increased again to 91.66% with very good category. Conclusion that Implementation of Direct Teaching Model can increase Improve Results of Science Student grade IV SD Negeri 014 Buluh Kasap.

Abstract

Abominable human morals which marked one of them with acts of corruption continue to be entrenched, there is even a fear that this culture regenerates attack children. This article is aimed confirm the presence of anti-corruption education as a part of moral education in the perspective of Islamic religious education. The essence of corruption is the misuse of authority with the aim of benefit and enrich themselves to the detriment of others. Corruption is identical with, or ineffective or irresponsible, ungrateful for the gift of God and kept up-to feel deprived, not sociable because of corruption harm others, and dishonest. For prevention, one of the strategic action is to make a move together through anti-corruption education. Anti-corruption education as a part of moral education in the perspective of Islamic religious education is derived from the Quran are expected to instill and develop virtues in the young generation, as trustee or responsible, grateful for the gift of God Almighty, and honest as forms of devotion to Allah (subject to the order of Allah).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of jigsaw learning method can improve learning achievement subjects Islamic Religious Education students of class V SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kota Pekanbaru. The subject of this research is the students of class V SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. Grade V students of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru consist of 33 students consisting of 15 male students and 18 female students. Technique used to collect data in this research is test, Observation / observation and documentation. This research was conducted by applying jigsaw learning method which has been done for three cycles, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the jigsaw learning method has a positive impact in improving student achievement with the average value of 78.12 in the first cycle, to 81.79 on the cycle II and increased again to 86.88 in cycle III. The success of the learning process is marked by the improvement of students learning mastery in every cycle, that is cycle I (51,52%), cycle II (60,61%) cycle III (84,85%). The conclusion that the application of jigsaw learning method improves learning achievement subjects Islamic Religious Education grade V students SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to: improve the ability of mathematical reasoning class VIII MTs Madinatussalam with the use of computer-aided direct instructional media; and analyze the effectiveness of learning with the use of computer-aided direct instructional media. This research is a classroom action research conducted in class VIII MTs Madinatussalam Percut Sei Tuan subdistrict by the number of students as many as 35 people. The technique of collecting data through observation of mathematical reasoning ability tests, the activities of teachers and students. Based on data analysis conclusions: (1) the use of computer-aided direct instructional media can increase students mathematical reasoning abilities in mathematics teaching material circle first cycle of 40.00%, 85.71% the second cycle, and (2) completeness class rises against mathematics learning of 45.71%. Thus it can be concluded that an increase motivation and mathematical reasoning skills students material circle through the use of computer-aided direct instructional media in class VIII MTs Madinatussalam Percut Sei Tuan subdistrict.
