Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of science students of grade IV of SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru, caused by the lesson learned strategy applied by teachers is less precise. The action taken is the Implementation of the Direct Teaching Model. This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of fourth graders in SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru through Implementation of Direct Teaching Model. This research was conducted in September 2011. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 030 Tampan Pekanbaru which amounted to 25 people. This study presents students learning outcomes used to measure student learning outcomes seen from daily repetition I in cycle I and daily repetition II in cycle II, the average of students in the final exam of the first cycle increased by 9.4 points from a base score of 59.2 to 68.6 while in cycle II increased by 11.4 points from cycle I to 80. For teacher activity first meeting cycle I percentage equal to 66,25% and second meeting cycle I percentage equal to 72,5%, first meeting second cycle percentage equal to 77,5% and second meeting in cycle II percentage equal to 86,25%. While on student activity at first meeting of cycle I was 60,75%, second meeting of cycle I was 80,25%, first cycle second meeting was 90,87%, and second meeting second cycle percentage was 95,37%. From the results of the above study note that the Implementation of Direct Instruction Model (Direct Instruction) can improve science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Primary School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of jigsaw learning method can improve learning achievement subjects Islamic Religious Education students of class V SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kota Pekanbaru. The subject of this research is the students of class V SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. Grade V students of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru consist of 33 students consisting of 15 male students and 18 female students. Technique used to collect data in this research is test, Observation / observation and documentation. This research was conducted by applying jigsaw learning method which has been done for three cycles, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the jigsaw learning method has a positive impact in improving student achievement with the average value of 78.12 in the first cycle, to 81.79 on the cycle II and increased again to 86.88 in cycle III. The success of the learning process is marked by the improvement of students learning mastery in every cycle, that is cycle I (51,52%), cycle II (60,61%) cycle III (84,85%). The conclusion that the application of jigsaw learning method improves learning achievement subjects Islamic Religious Education grade V students SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning result of Mathematics of third grade students of Elementary School, with the average of class 59. While the value of Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) of Mathematics is 73. Among the 26 students only 7 students reach KKM with classical completeness 26.92%. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted aimed to improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics students class III SD Pekanbaru by implementing the approach of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI). The data collected in this research are observation sheet of teacher activity and student activity and learning result. The average of mathematics learning result obtained by students before action 59 increased to 69,63 in cycle I with increasing percentage 26,92%. In the second cycle increased to 83.35 with a percentage increase of 19.70%. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting obtained a score of 16 (61.54%) with sufficient category and at the second meeting obtained a score of 19 (73.08%) with sufficient category. While on the second cycle of the first meeting obtained score of 21 (80.77%) with good category and the second meeting scored 14 (92.31%) with very good category. The increase of student activity on first cycle of first meeting get score 14 (53,85%) with enough category and at second meeting get score 18 (69,23%) with enough category. While in cycle II the first meeting scores obtained are 23 (88.46%) with good category and the second meeting obtained a score of 25 (96.15%) with very good category. The result of the research in the third grade of SD Pekanbaru proves that by implementing the approach of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) can improve students mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning of the front rolling gymnastics through games on the fourth graders of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kota Pekanbaru. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru T.A 2015/2016. The fourth grade students of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru consist of 33 students consisting of 17 male students and 16 female students. Technique used to collect data in this research is test, and non test. This study was conducted by applying the modification game approach that has been done with 2 cycles, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the modification game approach has the average value of students on the initial condition of 70.46 with the percentage of mastery of 42.42%. The condition has increased the average value of students in the first cycle that is equal to 72.32 and the percentage of completeness of 57.69%. However, the increase has not yet reached the target set previously. Then after continuing to cycle II, the average score of students front-floor gymnastics ability again increased by 83.43 with the percentage of mastery of 81.82%. The conclusion that the application of the game modification approach improves the learning outcomes of the front roll gymnastics subjects penjaskes fourth grade students SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of learning groups (POKJAR) in improving self-efficacy of elementary school teachers. Subjects were students (teacher / participants) POKJAR by the number of sampled as many as 171 people, who came from 5 POKJAR (Pakning, Air Molek, Sedinginan, Duri, and Chart). Selection of sample based on purposive random sampling. To obtain relevant data, the instruments used in this study are questionnaires and interview guidelines, which are arranged based on 4 indicators. The results showed that the self efficacy of teachers / participants in general showed good results. And there are 3 aspects that have the highest response or positive response (100%). Specifically, it asserts that the three aspects of teacher / participants to seriously follow the learning, felt confident of being able to follow the teaching in POKJAR because it can improve cognitive ability, confident that it can complete the task on time, and to resolve the matter of lectures and family issues wisely.

Abstract

This research is based on the low level of students ability in listening to childrens story. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to listen to childrens stories that include using the method of Sociodrama (Role Playing) students of class V SDN 96 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in class V SDN 96 Pekanbaru with 33 students, 13 men and 20 women. This study uses classroom action research methods conducted in 2 (two) cycles with 4 (four) stages: planning, action, observation and reflection as a basis for re-planning in the next cycle. The ability to listen to childrens stories obtained from preliminary data is with a percentage of 51.51% who complete a score above 65 according to KKM standards. After applying the first role cycle method I with the percentage 63,63%, second meeting of cycle I with the percentage 75,75%, second meeting of cycle II with the percentage 84,84%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of methods of sociodrama (role playing) in learning Indonesian language can improve the ability to listen to childrens stories on students V SD Negeri 96 Pekanbaru can be accepted

Abstract

 Anti-corruption education is a cultural process to make human life better and more meaningful with conscious and planned effort to realize the teaching and learning process which is critical to anti corruption value. In the perspective of Malay culture, the values of anti-corruption education are derived from the guidance or purpose of Malay peoples life, namely the Tunjuk Ajar Melayu from pantun, ungkapan, Gurindam Twelve and others. All Malay cultural values can be promoted to prevent and reduce corruption in society and government.

Abstract

Academic supervision is the professional assistance provided by the supervisor to the teacher to improve his / her competence in order to enable him to develop a more qualified learning process. The purpose of this research is to get data about 1) Academic supervision planning compiled by supervisor, 2) Implementation of supervision by academic supervisor and (3) Follow up of academic supervision result by supervisor. By using descriptive method, qualitative approach, interview data collecting technique, observation, and documentation study, supervisor research subject, principal, and teacher in SD Negeri 29 Pekanbaru, and qualitative analysis, this research show result: 1) Academic supervision planning prepared by supervisors in accordance with established procedures, 2) The implementation of academic supervision by the supervisor has been effective both seen from the techniques used, as well as procedures implementation, (3) Follow-up results supervision academic supervisors can help teachers solve problems experienced. It is suggested that the supervision of supervisors should be maintained because they can improve the pedagogic competence of teachers.

Abstract

Participants of LPJ CPNS Special Pattern training are civil servant candidates from K1 and K2 honorarium employees who have worked as honorary employees for more than 10 (ten) years, where their age ranges from 30 s / d to 55 years. At such a young age, they certainly have different emotional intelligence. This research has a purpose to know the pattern of emotional intelligence of LPJ Special Pattern training participants at education office Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Subjects in this study amounted to 30 employees. Data collection methods used in this study is the scale of emotional intelligence. Data analysis technique used is descriptive with quantitative approach. The result of the research shows that 13.3% of the participants of LPJ Special Education training in Pekanbaru education office have high level of emotional intelligence, 76,6% have moderate level of emotional intelligence, and only 10% have low emotional intelligence level.
