Abstract

Mathematics is a study that has an abstract object and is built through a process of deductive reasoning which the truth of a concept is obtained as a logical consequence of the truth previously accepted so that the relationship between concepts in mathematics is very strong and clear. In the implementation of the teaching and learning process of Mathematics in elementary schools, the various methods are used and adapted to the material presented by educators or teachers. It is intended if problems occur and difficulties in learning Mathematics will be easily solved. In this case the writer used the Guidance and Supervision by Principal's method. This school action research consisted of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle 2. Where in each cycle consisted of action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in sixth grade students of SDN 137 Pekanbaru. The analysis technique was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. This research aimed to improve student achievement in learning mathematics through guidance and supervision by principal. The results showed that with the supervision by principals had increased by 30%, the student learning outcomes averaged 62.66 to 85.33 by increasing student learning achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that with the guidance and supervision by principals can improve student learning achievement. Therefore, it is hoped that it will always improve the ability of its performance in learning so that the quality of education in schools increases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrated thematic teaching materials using a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)approach for elementary school students. This research was an experimental study using a post only test research design. The procedure of this study consisted of a prerequisite test and a hypothesis test. The prerequisite test consisted of tests of normality and homogeneity and the hypothesis test consisted of the T test. The calculation results found that the t count of 12.2023 and t table 11.66895 at the level of significance α = 0.05 because t count waslarger than t table then Ho was rejected , and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there was a significant influence on the use of thematic teaching materials using CTL on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The implication of this research was that it can be used as a reference in the learning process in elementary schools

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 148 Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were 29 grade 3 students consisting of 17 male students and 12 female students. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. The method used in this research was experiment. This research was conducted for 3 days, where the first day gave a pretest to students, the second day provided learning, and the third day was posttest. The results of the study were seen from the students' pretest and posttest. On the results of the pretest of 29 students, there were 13 students who completed and 16 other students who did not complete with an average of 68.03. Then in the posttest, the number of students who have completed has increased by 26 people while students who have not completed were 3 people so that an average of 80.62 was obtained which was relatively high. The results of t-test with tcount = 10.17 and ttable = 2.048, which can be concluded that tcount > ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there were differences and increases in student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 148 Pekanbaru between before and after the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a number of students who have difficulty in learning mathematics caused by external factors, including: the attention of family members when learning mathematics, the teacher's method of teaching mathematics, the atmosphere of the home environment, and so on. External factors are very influential on students besides the genetic factors or internal factors. Various problems caused by the stimuli from outside individuals make students experience learning difficulties. This research used descriptive quantitative method that aimed to find out any external factors that affect learning difficulties in learning mathematics for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 125 Pekanbaru. The population of this study consisted of 44 students, with students who received grades below the KKM of 37 students as the sample. Data collection techniques used were documentation and questionnaires. Based on research findings, the external factors influenced the difficulty of learning mathematics for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 125 Pekanbaru. The biggest factor in influencing difficulties in learning mathematics was the teacher's method of teaching mathematics with a percentage of 17.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quantum learning model assisted by audio visual media on the self efficacy of fifth grade student in social studies subject in Elementary School at Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020. This research was a quasi experimental study with a nonequivalent posttest only control grup design. The populations in this study were all fifth grade students of Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020 with 186 students. The research sample consisted of 34 students in grade 5 of SD Negeri 5 Yangapi as an experimental grup and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Yangapi as a control group with 26 students. This research used data collection methods with non test techniques. The non-test technique used was a questionnaire to look for self-efficacy data for fifth grade students in social studies subjects. The data of this study were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistics (t-test). The average acquisition of the experimental group questionnaire was 98, while the average results of the control group questionnaire was 89, 96. Based on the significance level of 5% and dk = 58, it was obtained ttable = 2.001 while the value of tcount = 4.935. So tcount> ttable which proved that H0 is rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an influence of the quantum learning model assisted by audio visual media on the self efficacy of Grade 5 students in Social Sciences of Elementary School Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The appropriate learning approach used in this digital era (industry 4.0) is blended learning (on-line). This research started from analyzing the needs of teachers and students and then designed a new model that fitted the desired needs both teachers and students. After designing the model, it was implemented then evaluated the results of the process that has been carried out. The purpose of this research was to see an appropriate model dealing with the fourth industrial revolution. The method used in this research was a quantitative descriptive method using descriptive statistical data analysis with the percentage formula. The results obtained in this study on practicality obtained very practical results, while the effectiveness of the results obtained experienced a very significant increase from 44.7 to 85.3 in terms of style understanding, the second material from 33.33 to 80 on various styles (muscle force, electric force, magnetic force, gravitational force and frictional force), and on the material the benefits of that force in daily life from 29.2 to 83.33.
