Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Civics students of class VI SD Negeri 010 Keresek. Thisresearch is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out senyak two cycles in which each cycle isimplemented with stages, namely planning, pelakasanaan, observation and reflection. The subjects of this studyamounted to 15 students. Learning outcomes obtained from average learning outcomes before action 66.50 witha percentage of 40% increased to 65% with an average of 74 in cycle I. In cycle II increased again to 90% withan average of 83. Results of research in the class VI SD Negeri 010 Keresek proves that the implementation ofcooperative learning model type NHT can improve the learning outcomes of Civics students of class VI SDNegeri 010 Keresek Kecamatan Gunung Toar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student social studies learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was toimprove student social studies learning outcomes through the application of STAD type cooperative learningmodels. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SDN 008 Sumber Jaya. The data used in thisstudy are data on teacher and student activities and social studies learning outcomes. This research wasconducted for two cycles and each cycle was carried out through four stages, namely planning, implementation,observation and reflection. The results showed the acquisition of teacher activity data in the first cycle of thefirst meeting with a percentage of 51%, the second meeting with a percentage of 64.5%, in the second cycle atthe third meeting the percentage of 76.5%, and at the meeting 4 percentages obtained were 86.5%. Whereasstudent activity on the percentage of the first cycle of the 1st meeting was 53%, the second meeting was 63.5%,in the second cycle the third meeting was 82%, and the fourth meeting was 91%. Learning outcomes in the initialdata obtained an average of 64.5, in daily tests I obtained an average class of 75, and in the second daily testobtained an average of 86.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students' social skills in science learning by applying the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning strategy to fifth grade students of the 009 state primary school in Mount Toar. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students, amounting to 26 students. The instrument of data collection is a social skills observation sheet consisting of 5 attitude indicators. From the results of data analysis, an overview of the students' social skills is obtained, the indicators are in the task of taking turns in sharing tasks and listening actively are categorized as high, while the indicators encourage participation and ask are categorized as moderate. Overall the social skills of students are categorized as high which shows that the learning strategy of Think Talk Write effectively trains the social skills of public elementary school 009 Gunung Toar.

Abstract

The background of this study is the lack of student attention to learning material. This study aims to describe the influence and differences in the ability to determine the intrinsic elements of students' short stories using the sociodrama method. This research was conducted in class V SD Negeri 131 Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the study it was found that there is an influence of the ability to determine the intrinsic element in the experimental class as seen from the average of the initial test and the final test, namely the initial test of 60.63 to 81.88 when the final test with a large influence of 56%. In the final test of the control class and the experimental class obtained t_count = 21,708 ≥ t_table = 1,999, so there is a difference in the ability to determine the intrinsic element between the control class and the experimental class. So, there is an influence (experimental class) and differences in abilities (between the control class and the experimental class) fifth grade students of SD Negeri 131 Pekanbaru

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) is a policy issued by the government to overcome the problem of education and improve the basic literacy abilities of students. SDN 6 Pekanbaru is one of the schools that has implemented GLS at the familiarization stage well. Therefore, this study aims to determine the basic literacy skills of students in low classes through the implementation of GLS in SDN 6 Pekanbaru. This study used qualitative research conducted through observation and interviews about the implementation of GLS and students’ basic literacy skills with teachers and students in classes I and II. The results showed that GLS was able to improve the phonetic abilities of students by achieving a very good level of the ability to read and pronounce combinations of letters. The increase of students' vocabulary comprehension ability was seen where most students were able to know the meaning of words and retell the contents of books with theme daily activities. From the research findings, it was concluded that GLS improved the basic literacy ability of low-class students at SDN 6 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the government policies regarding the distance learning in which teachers played an important role to prepare effective learning for students. This research sought to improve teachers’ competence in preparing lesson plans by conducting in-house training activities. This research was conducted at SDN 014 Teratak Buluh with 9 teachers as the research subjects. The instrument was an observation sheet containing the information about the teachers’ competence in preparing lesson plans. The results showed that in cycle I the average score of the teachers’ competence was 67.22 with sufficient category. Then, the score increased in the second cycle to 78.33, which reached good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the teachers’ competence in preparing the lesson plan during the Covid-19 pandemic increased through in-house training.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the SD Negeri 007 Pendalian KecamatanPendalian IV Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPS students ofclass VI SD Negeri 007 Pendalian Kecamatan Pendalian IV Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu with theimplementation of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together, which is held for 1 month. Thesubjects of this study are the students of class VI SD Negeri 007 Pendalian Kecamatan Pendalian IV KotoKabupaten Rokan Hulu which amounted to 40 people academic year 2016-2017. The form of research isclassroom action research. The instrument of this research consisted of performance instrument and datacollection instrument in the form of observation sheet of teacher activity and student activity. Based on theresults of research that has been done, it is known that cooperative learning model type numbered headstogether can improve the results of IPS student grade VI SD Negeri 007 Pendalian Kecamatan Pendalian IVKoto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. This is evident from the repetition of cycle I the average score of studentsincreased 12.1% points from the basic score of students to 76.6%. In cycle II increased 4.8% points from cycle Ito 81.4%. From the data can be interpreted that the implementation of cooperative learning model typenumbered heads together can improve the learning outcomes of IPS students class VI SD Negeri 007 PendalianKecamatan Pendalian IV Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu.

Abstract

The learning activities of Social Sciences (IPS) are part of the process of education in schools and have a role in life. One of them is thatsocial studies education has an important role in educating the life of the nation. Therefore, from time to time efforts are always made toimprove the quality of social studies education. Recognizing the importance of social studies education, efforts need to be made to improvethe learning process to improve student learning outcomes. Class action research is an improvement in the learning process to solveproblems faced by teachers in the classroom. Data obtained after research on teacher activities in the first cycle of the 1st meeting with apercentage of 50%, the second meeting with a percentage of 63%, in the second cycle at the third meeting percentage of 77%, and at the 4thmeeting the percentage obtained 86%. Observation data of student activities in this study obtained the percentage of the first cycle of the firstmeeting amounted to 52%, the second meeting was 61%, in the second cycle the third meeting was 75%, and the fourth meeting wasobtained 85% percentage proved that student activity has increased. Data on increasing learning outcomes of students in grade V SDN 012Sei Lala Kecamatan Sungai Lala in the initial data obtained an average of 60, in the daily test I obtained a class average of 75, and in dailytests, II obtained an average of 86. This proved that the STAD cooperative model in social studies learning is effectively used to improvesocial science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

This research is based on the result of Art Culture Study of Vocational Secondary School of Negeri 1 Benai which isstill very low and less interesting. This study aims to improve the learning result of Art Culture and studentcreativity. From data analysis of research result, there is improvement both from cycle I to cycle II, and cycle II tocycle III. Namely on the cycle element indicator of the song I get 8% percentage, in the second cycle increased to48%, and the third cycle increased to 55%. For the indicator of creativity also increased both from cycle I, II and IIIthat in cycle I get 0% presentation after cycle II increased to 8%, and after cycle III increased to 48%. For studentmotivation indicator, get presentation in cycle I of 2%, after cycle II to 33%, and cycle III increased to 62%. Thus itcan be concluded, improving the creativity of students through songwriting games in Cultural Art learning canimprove student learning outcomes and creativity on the subjects of Art Culture at Vocational Secondary School 1Benai.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low narrative essay writing skills of class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. This is because there are teachers who do not use the learning model, students are asked to do the writing exercises directly without being explained first. Therefore, implementing the learning model think talk write is a learning model that is suitable for use. This study aims to determine the differences in narrative essay writing skills of class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru between (pretest) and (posttest) by applying the think talk write learning model. The research design used in this study was pre-experiment, the design of this study was one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in class VC SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru with 30 students consisting of 18 female students and 12 male students. Based on the results of the study it was obtained that students' narrative essay writing skills after being given treatment by applying the think talk write learning model were better and higher than those who were not treated by applying the think talk write learning model. The results showed that the average score of narrative essay writing skills before the treatment pretest was 57.07 and increased to 77.74 after being treated posttest, as well as an average gain of 0.50 which included moderate interpretation. Hypothesis test results using the t-test that thitung= 10.589 dan ttabel= 2.0452, the concluded thitung > ttabel, then Hois rejected, which means there are differences in narrative essay writing skills of class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru that are significant between pretest and posttest by applying learning model think talk write.
