Abstract

This research was conducted at 015 Public Elementary School Geringging Jaya, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The subjects of this study were 18th grade V students consisting of 8 male students and 10 female students. The purpose of this study is to improve student science learning outcomes by applying a problem based learning model. This research consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, seen from the average value of a student's base score of 63.2 with 10 students completing as many as a percentage of 55.5% experienced an increase in the first cycle with an average value of students becoming 74.3 with students completing being 14 people with a percentage of 77.7%. Whereas in the second cycle again menngkata with an average value of 86.7 with students who finished up to 16 people with a percentage of 88.8%.Can the researchers conclude that the application of the problem based learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of science students in grade at 015 Public Elementary School Geringging Jaya

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes using discussion learning methods and using the Q&A learning method at Yaperjasa Vocational High School. The type of the research was Classroom Action Research with quantitative approach using the comparative method. The number of samples was 80 students which divided into 2 classes, namely class XI Office Administration 1 (control class) using the discussion method and class XI AP 2 (experimental class) using the question and answer method. The results of the study showed that there were 3 cycles, namely the first cycle t-value> t-table or 3.323> 1.685, in cycle II t-value<t-table and -0.087 <1.685, and in cycle III t-value> t-table or 3.209> 1.685. Cycles I and III showed that t-value was greater than t-table. It meant that the values obtained by students in the control class with the experimental class there were significant differences in learning outcomes. Students’ learning outcomes by applying discussion learning methods compared to using question and answer learning methods.

Abstract

A fundamental problem faced by fifth grade students at SDN 011 Pauh Angit was the low achievements in learning Bahasa Indonesia. As a result, the learning process became less effective at schools. The learning model applied in this research was example non example method, which was useful for making it easier for students to understand the concept of learning by looking directly at examples of the topic being taught. The purpose of this study was to improve the students’ achievement in learning Bahasa Indonesia at SDN 011 Pauh Angit. This research was a classroom action research which aimed to improve and enhance the learning process in the classroom. This study found that example non example learning model was effective to enhance the students’ learning outcomes. Based on the results of observations, there was an increase in teachers’  activities for 57% (sufficient category) in the first meeting. Moreover, in the second meeting, the activities increased  for 71% which was in good category. Meanwhile, in the third meeting, he teachers’ activities increased for 83% with very good category, and in the fourth meeting, the percentage increased to 92% with very good category. In addition, data on students’ activities revealed that in the first meeting, the students’ activities increased for 59% with sufficient category, and it increased  at the second meeting for 72% with good category. Then, at the third meeting the percentage reached 85% with very good category, and at the fourth meeting, it was 90% with the category of very good. Lastly, data on the improvement of students’ learning outcomes revealed that the score of daily test I was 78 and daily test II was 88.

Abstract

This research is a survey research about the problems faced by students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Inuman. Theresults of this study were: (a) on the indicators of students who felt themselves problematic about the health of33 people (33.33%); (b) on indicators of students who feel themselves problematic about the family economythat is 30 people (35.71%); (c) on the indicators of students who feel themselves problematic parenting in thefamily that is 31 people (36.90%); (d) on indicators of students who feel themselves problematic about peerrelationships that is 21 people (25.00%); (e) on the indicator of students who feel themselves problematic aboutusing leisure / leisure which is 44 people (52.38%); (f) on indicators of students who feel themselves problematicabout the future ie 58 people (69.04%); (g) on indicators of students who feel themselves problematic about selfconfidence that is 31 people (36.90%); (h) on indicators of students who feel themselves problematic about themotivation to learn that is 17 people (20.33%); (i) in the indicator of students who feel themselves problematicabout the relationship with the teacher that is 27 people (32.14%); (j) on indicators of students who feelthemselves problematic about the opposite sex that is 16 people (19.04%); (k) on indicators of students who feelthemselves problematic about the opposite sex that is 16 people (19.04%); and (l) on the indicator of studentswho feel themselves problematic about the relationship with school life that is 21 people (25.00%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the level of ability to make passive sentences of Indonesian class XIstudents Teknik Jaringan Tenaga Listrik SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru even semester in lesson year 2017/2018. Thetheory used, Alwi, et al. (2003) and Sinaga (2015) concerning the active and passive understanding of the sentencesconcerning three things, (1) kinds of predicate verbs, (2) subjects and objects, and (3) forms of verbs used; Sinaga(2015) about the sentence; Marhamah (2011) and Suhardi (2013) on the meaning of passive sentences and theircharacteristics; Sugiyono (2011) on descriptive research; and Razak (2005) on data analysis and scoring; The studywas conducted using tests making passive sentences and turning active sentences into passive sentences. Datasource 30 students. The results showed that the level of ability of students class XI Teknik Jaringan Tenaga ListrikSMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru in making passive sentence is 65.19% in low category (R), which is disaggregated above(1) the level of ability to make passive predictive sentence predicate in 96%, high categorized (T), (2) the level ofability to make active sentences into passive sentences is 55.56%, low category (R), and make predictive predictionster- 44% predicate failed categorized (G). Thus, the ability of class XI students Teknik Jaringan Tenaga Listrik SMKNegeri 2 Pekanbaru make passive sentences of Indonesian language of 65.19%, low category (R).

Abstract

 This study is a class action based on the results of observations in SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam, met some of the symptoms or phenomena in the learning process, among others: of the 18 students, only 10 people, which totaled completeness criteria minimal set school namely 65, while the other students have not reached the kkm, teaching and learning process education citizenship (civics) does not stimulate students to engage actively follow the lessons, it is apparent from the activities of children busy with activities respectively, learning only emphasizes the terms of cognitive less engaging students, so that students are less self-contained, so the lack of student learning outcomes, especially on the subjects of civics. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the low student learning outcomes. To improve student learning outcomes, this research used non-example of cooperative learning example in citizenship education lessons class III SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The formulation of the problem in this research are: does the implementation of cooperative learning mode non-examples examples can improve learning outcomes civics lesson in third grade students of SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. This research was carried out in three cycles and each cycle is done in one meeting. In order to study this class action work well without barriers obstructing the smooth running of the study, researchers compiled stages are passed in classroom action research, namely: 1) planning/ preparatory actions, 2) implementation of the action, 3) observation and reflection. After the implementation of cooperative learning tife examples non-examples, it is known the first cycle student learning outcomes at an average value of 67.2. Then, after reflection and improvement against the weaknesses of learning. Unknown at the second cycle of the average value of student learning outcomes achieved on the average value of 75.6, and the third cycle, student learning outcomes also meninkat with the average achieved in the classical style was 80.8 in both categories. This means that all students have reached kkm is set so that it indicates the success of the study. Due to the success indicator set has exceeded 75%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning of long jump students of class VII.1 SMPN 1 Gunung ToarKecamatan Gunung Toar Kecamatan Kuantan Singingi is still low. This study aims to improve students' longjump learning outcomes. From the data analysis, there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity,and student learning result, that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I the percentage is 62,5% (less) and atmeeting 2 increased to 72,5% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 increased again to 85% (very good) andat meeting 4 increased to 90% (very good). Judging from the student activity also increased from the 1st cyclemeeting I was 60% (enough) and at the 2nd meeting increased to 75% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 itincreased to 87,5% (very good) and at 4th meeting to 92.5% (very good). Judging from student learningoutcomes, the average base score of 70 increased to 80 in the first cycle of increase 10 points later on the secondcycle increased to 95 on the second cycle of major increase of 15 points. From the data analysis there is anincrease both from teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that thesuccess of hanging media can improve the learning result of long jump style style hanging class VII.1 SMPN 1Gunung Toar Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kecamatan Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research or classroom action research. The problem dealt with was from the low ability to complete thecount operations of grade I C SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru. This learning problem is overcome by applying ready training methods. Theresearch aims to improve the ability of students to learn mathematics by applying ready training methods. Based on the results of researchand actions that by applying training methods are ready to be able to significantly improve learning outcomes in the IC SD Negeri 164Pekanbaru. Before the action is taken, the classical average value is 45.25, or unfavorably; in the first cycle to 61.25 or enough; and thesecond cycle becomes 81.50 or good. Before the action was carried out, students who completed their study at KKM 70 were only 13students or 32.50%; the first cycle becomes 22 students or 61.25%: and in the second cycle becomes 37 students or 92.50%. Based on theobservations of first-grade students of C SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru, they seemed to understand the Ready Exercise Method and they couldwork independently in learning. The use of training methods is ready to successfully overcome the problem of the low mathematics learningoutcomes of students in the IC class of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still weak ability of teachers in the use of information and communication technology (ICT). This research was conducted in all kindergarten assisted by researchers in the Lalak River District. Sabjek of this study were all kindergarten teachers in the District of Sungai Lalak which numbered 25 teachers. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to use information and communication technology (ICT) through workshop activities. This research consists of two cycles, each of which consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study prove that in the first and second cycles, it can be seen that the competence in the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in TK Lalak District Kindergarten teachers is generally in the medium category. In the first aspect of the first cycle, 4 people or 16% kindergarten teachers have a high ability regarding the use of information and communication technology (ICT), while the second cycle increases to 10 people or 40%. In the second category there were 14 people or 56% who had moderate abilities regarding the use of ICTs, while the second cycle had 12 people or 48% who had moderate abilities. In the third aspect of the first cycle of 7 people or 28% have not been able to master the use of ICT, while in the second cycle reduced to 3 people or 12% have not been able to master the use of information and communication technology (ICT). Based on the description that has been described, the researcher draws conclusions from the results of research conducted that the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) workshops can improve the ability of teachers in the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in TK Lalak River District.

Abstract

The problem of this research is inspired by the lack of students' ability in learning to write descriptions. Therefore the purpose of this research is to produce a syllabus for writing a description based on picture and picture media that is valid, practical, and effective. The model used in this study is the ADDIE (Analysis), (Design), (Develop), (Implement), and (Evaluate) models. The participant in this study were students and teachers of SDN 01 Simabur. The validity instrument is seen from the learning syllabus sheet validation. The practicality instrument can be seen from the observation sheet of the implementation of the lesson plan, as well as the teacher and student opinion questionnaire. Instruments of effectiveness can be seen from the observation of student activities and the results of student skills in writing. The type of data in this study is primary data. The results of the validity test by experts and practitioners are categorized as very valid namely 90% and 87%. The practicality of the syllabus is categorized as very practical, evidenced by observing the implementation of the RPP with a percentage of 89%, and supported by the teacher and student responses of 90% and 91%. Finally, the effectiveness felt by students in writing descriptions is considered very effective, which can improve students' ability to write descriptions. In short, the development of syllabus writing description based on picture and picture media in grade IV elementary school can be declared valid, practical, and effective
