Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase students' interest and motivation in the subjects of class VIII Buddhism inSMP Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are Class VIII studentswho are Buddhists, amounting to 9 people including 8 men and 1 woman. Techniques for collecting data through written testtechniques. The results showed that the Buddhist learning outcomes of students experiencing improvement in the first cycle ofmeeting 1 obtained an average score of 72.7. At meeting 2 it increased to 77.0. In the second cycle the meeting 1 increased to75.8. And at meeting 2 it increased to 77.8.

Abstract

This study aims to improve teachers' motivation in teaching by using visual aids at SD Negeri 008 PagaranTapah Darussalam. Based on the description on the background, problem identification and problem restriction,the focus of this research is related to the effort to improve the motivation of teaching teachers by using visualaids in SD Negeri 008 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The School Action Research is conducted only at SD Negeri008 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. In one supervision of the researcher himself. The type of this research is theSchool Action Research (PTS) located at SD Negeri 008 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam, which is aimed atteachers. The main reason is from the results of observation and information from teachers, that the teacher'steaching ability is still classified as less. The sample in this study is all teachers in SD Negeri 008 PagaranTapah Darussalam amounted to 11 people. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion as presented inchapter IV, it can be concluded that in the activity aspect of headmaster as facilitator get achievement with score25 or with percentage equal to 63 from all aspect of assessment or equal to 63% all activity achieved. Then onthe second cycle score obtained by 38 or with percentage achievement of 95% of all aspects achieved. Aspects ofteacher activity as a participator in this study in the first cycle of the score obtained from the implementation ofdirection by the principal get a score of 49 or with percentage of achievement of 56%. Then in cycle ii theparticipation rate is 73% higher than cycle i and with the implementation score of 64. teacher motivation aspectduring the execution of the direction from cycle i to cycle ii, teacher motivation in using props tends to rise.where if in cycle i get percentage of achievement of 54% with enough category, then cycle ii get percentageequal to 77% or with category of very good

Abstract

This research was motivated by the many weaknesses encountered especially in the implementation of the learning process carried out by teachers at the 017 Golden Sand Public Elementary School. The strategy used to help teachers improve teacher competency in the implementation of the learning process by intensifying the implementation of academic supervision. The aim is to improve the process of implementing learning carried out by teachers in the classroom. The results showed, where the average value of teachers in the learning process cycle I was 72.85 with sufficient categories. After the second cycle, the value of teacher competence in the process of learning has increased to 88.00 with a very good category. This proves that, through academic supervision, it can improve teacher competence in the implementation of the learning process at 017 Golden Sand Public Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) describe the problems in the implementation of content standards in the Curriculum 2013, 2) describe the factors that cause problems in the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 content standards in elementary schools.The research method used is case study. The study was conducted at Kuningan Regency, SDN Dukuhdalem, Japara District, SDN 1 Manislor, Jalaksana District, and SDN 1 Purwawinangun, Kuningan District. There are two types of research instruments used, observation sheets and interview guides. Qualitative data analysis is carried out interactively and takes place continuously at each stage of the study so that it is complete, and the data is saturated. The results of the study note that 1)  scope of the material on the spiritual attitude competence faces obstacles in terms of time, 2) scope of the material on social attitude competencies faces obstacles in terms of time, 3) scope of the material on the competency of outreach faces obstacles in terms of cost, 4) scope of the material on knowledge competence faces obstacles in terms of monotonous material, the extent of the material which is considered to be lacking. These four problems require seriousness in handling so that in the future the objectives of the curriculum 2013 can be achieved

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 017 Candirejo, Pasir Penyu District with 15 teachers. This study aims to improve teacher competency in Developing Lesson Plans (RPP) by implementing workshop activities. The type of the research was action research. This research procedure was carried out in two cycles, and the steps in each cycle consisted of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that before giving an average action, the teacher got a value of 74.4 with sufficient qualifications, then after taking action in the first cycle, the average teacher got a score of 81 with good qualifications. In the second cycle, the average teacher's assessment increased to 86.7 with very good qualifications. The percentage increased from the pre-action to the first cycle was 6.6% and the pre-action to the second cycle was 12.3%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the workshop activities can improve teacher competency in preparing RPP at SDN 017 Candirejo, Pasir Penyu District.

Abstract

This was a qualitative research aiming to describe the role of teachers in SBdP learning at fifth grade of elementary schools in cluster one Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentations. The instruments were: observation sheets and interview guides referring to indicators of the role of teachers in learning and those instruments were validated by experts or validators. The subjects in this study were four fifth grade teachers of the elementary schools in Cluster one Kecamatan Tampan. It was found that teachers performed their role  in SBdP learning well but the implementation was not perfect yet. On the indicator of teacher as a demonstrator, teachers presented SBdP materials in theory and practice. Then, on the indicator of  teacher as a class manager, the teachers carried out SBdP learning in a thematic way and utilized scientific approach. Moreover, on the indicator of teacher as a mediator, they applied pianics, pictures contained in student books, as well as audio visual videos of the song of “Gugur Bunga” and the video of human circulatory system as the learning media. After that, on the indicator of teacher as a facilitator, the teachers implemented thematic printed books, worksheets books, and books of national compulsory songs as learning resources. Finally, on the indicator of teacher as an evaluator, teachers did not yet carry out quizes, portfolios, or project assessments, but they scarried out an assessment process.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of science subjects. Of 32 students, only 13 studentswhose learning outcomes are complete, the average student score is 57.78. Based on this is the researcher doingresearch by applying the model of learning based on the problem. This research was conducted at SD Negeri019 Bumi Ayu, with the subject of the study of the students of class VI with the number of students as many as 32students. The results stated that the application of inquiry learning model can increase the activity of teachersand students and the result of science learning. This is evidenced by: (1) teacher activity at meeting I cycle I getscore 20 (44,45%) at meeting II cycle I have increase with score 24 (54,55%). At the first meeting I cycle IIincreased with a score of 31 (75.22%), and at the second meeting II cycle increased with a score of 37 (84.09%).In addition, the students' activity increased during the first cycle meeting I got a score of 21 (47.73%), in thesecond meeting of cycle I increased by a score of 25 (56.82%). At the first meeting I cycle II increased with ascore of 35 (79.55%) and at the second meeting II cycle increased with a score of 37 (84.09%); and (2)improved student learning outcomes marked from 24 people on a baseline score to 16 in daily repeat I andincreased to 30 in daily repeat II.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research that have aimed to improve students learning result on the subject of  Linear Equation with One Variable using media educative Domino Card games in the class VII.9 MTs Negeri Dumai on odd semester, academic year 2017/2018. This class consisting of 37 students with 17 male students and 20 female students.  This research was conducted in two cycles comprising 3 meetings in each cycle. The data of the research were collected by using some techniques, that is  by using test after each cycle and observation each meetings. The data of was collecting using quantitative  and qualitative analyze. The result of this research using media educative Domino Card games can improve students learning result. There was an improvement on the mean score of the test. In the first cycle it was 74.05 and improved to 84.32 in the second cycle. This technique could make the students pay attention to the lesson properly.

Abstract

Teachers are a very dominant factor and most important in formal education, therefore teachers are often used asrole models and even become self-identification figures for students. The concept of self is an important part inevery conversation about human personality. This study aims to determine the planning and implementationprogram acceleration in madrasah aliyah negeri in Kabupaten Kampar This research method is descriptive methodwith quantitative approach. The unit of analysis in this study is the Influence of professional teacher competence,work motivation and self concept on teacher performance at madrasah aliyah negeri in Kabupaten Kampar. Afterthe data were analyzed, it was concluded: 1) the influence of professional teacher competence, work motivation andself concept on teacher performance In madrasah aliyah negeri in Kabupaten Kampar is with a percentage of63.83% there is a significant influence between the performance of madrasah teachers to guidance paedagogikteacher competence with the effect of 0.489. Based on the above conclusions, it is known that the professionalteacher competence, work motivation and self concept in the learning process determine the professionalism ofteachers in learning can increase and can lift the quality of teachers through the performance of madrasahteachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation of student learning in the lesson of Math class VI SD Negeri002 Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam. This study aims to improve students' learning motivation in the lesson ofClass VI SD Negeri 002 Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam by applying cooperative learning model of teams gamestournament (TGT) type. The subjects of this study are all students of class VI SD Negeri 002 Teluk Nilap KubuBabussalam which amounted to 29 people. The form of research is classroom action research. The instrument ofthis research consisted of performance instrument and data collection instrument in the form of observationsheet of teacher activity and student activity. Based on the results of analysis and discussion can be concludedthat through cooperative learning model type TGT can improve students' learning motivation Math class SDNegeri 002 Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam students. Based on the results of the study note that the student'slearning motivation before the action in a classical reach the average percentage of 36.2% is at the interval 0-40%. The first cycle of the first meeting indicates that the students 'level of learning motivation classically onlyreaches the average 51.4% percentage in the 40% -55% interval is quite high and in the second meeting thestudents' learning motivation is classically reaching the percentage average of 56, 9%, are at a 40-55% intervalquite high. While in the first cycle of the first encounter increased with the acquisition of the average valueclassically 71% are at intervals of 56% -75% are high and at the second meeting is klasikal get the averagevalue of 83.4% percentage, is at interval 76- 100% with very high category.
