Abstract

Marketing activities of online services are often seen on the achievement of strategies for achieving customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. Taking heed of e-service quality and price constitutes an appropriate marketing strategies to foster the users of online services’ satisfaction. Providing service and good benefits with a relatively cheap price to meet the expectations and needs of the customers will affect the level of satisfaction of online services users. The consumer satisfaction maintained by online service providers will create loyal customers. The purpose of this study to test how much the e-service quality and prices influences directly to customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, this study examine the relationship of satisfaction and customer loyalty. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru to 200 sample respondents from the users of online flight tickets searching service, Traveloka, from September to October, 2016.Data collection techniques used is a questionnaire with Likert scale using non-probability sampling method. Data were analyzed using SEM analysis techniques, which are used as the instrument in testing hypothesis by using AMOS 21 program.The results of this study indicated that the overall dimensions of e-service quality have positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Price is another factor that gives positive and significant impact directly on the customer satisfaction as well as loyalty. Consumer satisfaction can be a moderator variable between e-service quality and price to customer loyalty.

Abstract

The life of fisherman is always synonymous with poverty. There are many causes of poverty in the life of fisherman, such as, the lack of access to capital sources, access to technology, access to market and low participation of the community in the management of natural resources. Social stratification and capital penetration among fishermen also cause poverty and conflict potential among them becomes more complicated. This study analyses interrelation pattern among fishermen in the context of social stratification and identifies adaptation strategies of traditional fishermen in dealing with problem of fish catching and surviving in the middle of environmental change in their region. The objective of this study is to formulate the right pattern to eliminate conflict potential among level of fishermen and to recommend the right poverty alleviation model to develop in their region.This study uses mixing method approach by combining descriptive quantitative approach and qualitative approach as well as participatory approach. The target of this study is “laut” tribe fishermen in Panglima Raja village (Concong luar), community figures, village government officer and sub district government officer in Indragiri Hilir regency. Collected data will be analyzed with interactive analysis model.Research result shows that the low selling value and catching result of fishermen are caused by the limit of technology and high cost fare that make traditional fishermen are still struggling with poverty. The low human resources quality of traditional fishermen has implication to all sides of fishermen’s life especially adaptation ability to the changes in aquatic ecosystems. Therefore, the efforts of community empowerment through education actualization, allignments on marginal fishermen communities and government commitment need to get attention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that have influence to the interests of the students to continue their education to the higher level. This study population is SMA Negeri 2 Tambang in Kampar Regency. Samples were taken with proportional Stratified Random Sampling as many as 185 people. Analysis of data using mean scores and multiple linear regression.The results of this research show us that motivation, aspirations, wishes, school and family environment are have influence on the interests of students to continue the higher education. The most significant influence variable is the motivation because high motivation will foster a strong interest in the students to pursue the higher education. Meanwhile, the lowest significant influence variable is the school environment because alumni and peers have no influence to students’ interest about higher education. For the students who have the motivation, ambition, willingness expected to improve their achievement and add interest to continue their education to the college, and try to find the complete information about the college that match with their interest and talent. Besides that, the school should give extra motivation to the students to continue their education in the higher level and also provide the complete information about the college that their student want to know about.

Abstract

Industrial estate in Riau has been developed on four (4) districts and cities. It turned out that only two districts become a national strategic program. This study analizes potential resources industrial estatein Riau; What advantages industrial estatedistricts of the city in the Riau; and the potential for industrial relations in the municipal district in Riau on development of industrial estates.The method used is quantitative research with the Resources Based Theory which discusses the variables of human resources, natural resources, infrastructure, technology, and finance the development of industrial estates. The population of this region is 4 (four) regions.The study results showed that the growing industrial estate are Siak and Dumai. Those regions are more developed because of their variable institution / organization, availability of land, and Tenans.

Abstract

The role training and on employee performance in Departement of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Pelalawan Regency with discipline and work motivation as intervening variable. This research was conducted on Departement of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Pelalawan Regency which aims to know the effect of training, discipline and work motivation variable on employee performance. The population of this research is using cencus technique, which is taken from all employees both civil servants and non civil servants who have attended training for the last 5 (five) years. The analysis used in this research is using WarpPLS analysis technique.The results showed that the training has a significant effect on work discipline and employee work motivation (H1 and H2 are accepted). And While based on the results of testing the effect of training on performance has not significant (H3 is rejected). Thus it can be said that the training does not affect the employee performance through work discipline (H4 is accepted). And indirect testing of training is not proven to have an effect on improving performance through work motivation (H5 is rejected)

Abstract

Teacher entrepreneurship competence in teaching is a teacher's proficiency to integrate entrepreneurial values when teaching for all subjects, which is measured independently, creative, risk-taking, leadership, action-oriented, and hard work.This study focuses on finding out how high the level of competence of teacher entrepreneurship in teaching, and how big the contribution of each indicator to the variables. The study population was 71 teachers, and the entire population was sampled. Data was collected using questionnaires and was analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the competence of teacher entrepreneurship in teaching based on six indicators was obtained with very high interpretation, with value of Mean 4.08 and Standard Deviation 0.83. The contribution of indicator to the variables is classified as lower interpretation (33.36%). The role of teachers in applying the value of entrepreneurship to students must be inderecting on every subject or subject matter when the implementation of learning in the classroom or outdoor. Teachers are expected to have entrepreneurial competence as part of their professional accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how: 1) Leadership has positive impact and significant on employee commitment, 2) Spirit at work has positive impact and significant on employee commitment, 3) Employee commitment has positive impact on employee performance. This study used population of 82 employees at the Hospital Level IV 1.07.04 Pekanbaru with hypothesis census method was tested using analysis tools Partial Least Square. The results showed: 1) Leadership has positive impact and significant on the commitment, 2) Spirit at work has positive impact and significant on the commitment, 3) Commitment has positive impact and significant on employee performance at Hospital Level IV 01.07.04 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The objectives of these study is to get a better knowledge of the impact of leadership and supervision on the civil servants morale and performance at the office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Pekanbaru. Variables used in this research are leadership and supervision as independent variables while morale and performance as dependent variables. Sampling method used in this research is sampling census method with a sample of 124 people working in the office of Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Pekanbaru. Statistical analysis used to test the impact of leadership and supervision on the civil servant morale and performance is a WarpPls analysis, which explains the relationship between variables either directly or indirectly. The results of this study indicate that leadership has a direct impact on the civil servant performance and it has indirect impact on the civil servant performance through morale. Supervision has an impact on the civil servant performance and it has no indirect impact on the civil servant performance through morale. The morale has a direct impact on the civil servant performance.
