Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of trust, the habit of using products to customer satisfaction and consumer loyalty in buying the Samsung brand in the "Y" store. The population used is the entire consumer who is a customer of the "Y" store with a purchase of at least 1 (one) time and the amount is unknown. Given the number of population is not known with certainty the number, so the basis for determining the sample determined sample is determined by a formula so that the number of samples is 50 respondents.Based on testing shows that the influence of trust on customer satisfaction is significant, meaning that the higher the level of consumer confidence in a product, the more it will increase customer satisfaction. The influence of the habit of using products on customer satisfaction is significant, meaning that if the habits of consumers in using the product increases. Consumer satisfaction can be an intervening variable between the habit of using products to consumer loyalty. The effect of consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty is significant, meaning that if customer satisfaction increases, consumer loyalty will increase.

Abstract

The adoption of customer orientation by an SME hotel trying to fight for excellence in a robust competition has drawn the writer’s interest. The research question to answer is: How the SME hotel adopts the customer orientation to respond to the competition and the changing environment. The research approach is qualitative. The informants are members of the hotel management staff having hands on managerial and supervisory responsibilities. Besides interviews, the writer conducted observation and triangulation. The result of this research shows that the hotel adopts customer orientation informally. They collect, distribute and respond to the information in line with their limited knowledge and capability in a financial constraint. A unique work culture of ‘gotong royong’ is created where efforts are aimed at responding to customers’ interest, satisfaction and value The inductive process in this research enables the writer to construct a mini theory which should be proved true by quantitative researches.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and test the role of ta'awun behavior in mediating between religiosity and mood. The questionnaire was distributed to 155 employees working in Islamic colleges. By using the PLS test, it was found that religiosity and mood influenced the behavior of ta'awun and ta’awun's behavior was able to improve service performance. With adequate literature studies, this study is able to enrich the repertoire of studies of variables related to human resource management that are sick with Islamic values. Conceptual discussion and empirical results also link the results of previous studies that included religious elements in managing human resources.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities that contribute to improving economic conditions, especially the rural economy. However, the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is very slow in competition with large companies in the era of free trade and globalization. Therefore all problems must be found the best solution with various efforts so that MSMEs perform well. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the improvement in the performance of MSMEs in Serenan, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency by observing both the influence of internal and external factors partially or jointly. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive type. through the Survey directly to the research location, the population of this study was wood processing MSMEs (furniture) which were in Serenan, Juwiring, Klaten Regency totaling 34 producers. The sample in this study is a population of 34 producers. While the sampling technique used was the census of all producers in the Serenan Sub-District which numbered 34 questionnaire answers. The results showed that the performance of MSMEs in Serenan, Juwiring, Klaten Regency was significantly influenced by internal factors (consisting of aspects of HR, financial aspects, production aspects and marketing aspects) and external factors (aspects of government policy, aspects of socio-economic aspects and related institutions) both partially and together.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of several factors (human resources quality, information technology utilization, internal control systems and organizational commitments) on the quality of the financial information of local government in Manokwari. Type of data uses in this research is primary data which have been obtained from questionnaires which are directly distributed to the respondents who are the head and the staffs of accounting division on financial and asset management services area (BPKAD) of Manokwari. The number of population and study sample was 46 people. Sampling using sampling methods saturated. This research data analysis method is multiple linear regression. Results of this study can be conclude that the human resources quality, internal control systems and organizational commitments have a significant positive effect on the quality of local government financial reporting information, while the use of information technology utilization does not have an effect on the quality of local government financial reporting information. Suggestion for the further research is to expand the independent variables that affect the quality of the financial information of local government.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of corporate governance on the imposition of intellectual capital. This study uses company performance, capital structure and firm size as a control variable.The population in this study consisted of all manufacturing companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The total sample of this study was 381 companies.This study uses multiple regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that board size, the proportion of independent commissioners, block holder ownership, and government ownership have a positive and significant effect on IC disclosure. Meanwhile, the board's tenure has no effect on IC disclosure.

Abstract

The background of this research is the weaker brand image of the results of SMEs presto milkfish products, and the weak consumer confidence in SMEs presto milkfish products in the city of Semarang. In general, this study aims to determine the effect of brand image and trust on consumer loyalty where the product value as a moderating variable. In particular, this study aims to improve the competitiveness of milkfish presto products. The variables in this study consisted of four variables, namely brand image and trust became independent variables while consumer loyalty became the dependent variable. Then the product value is a moderating variable. Research data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to consumers of presto milk products in the city of Semarang are systematically arranged with several easy-to-understand answer choices. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out during the period May - August 2017, with a sample of 125 people. Then the data collected through the questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis and MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis. To get the BLUES regression results (best linear unbiased estimated), the classical assumption test was previously carried out. Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in perceptions of Government Auditors, Public Accountants, Corporate Internal Auditors, Corporate Accountants, Accounting Lecturers and Senior Accounting Students for the capabilities that must be possessed by Forensic Accountants. The object of this research is the professional group of Government Auditors, internal government Auditors, Public Accountants, Corporate Internal Auditors, Corporate Accountants, Accounting Lecturers and Senior Accounting Students in the Jakarta and Central Java regions. This study uses a purposive sampling technique in data collection. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to each group. A total of 156 questionnaires were collected. Government auditor samples were distributed to Central BPK employees and inspectors in Central Java, Public Accountants, Internal Auditors, Corporate Accountants in several large companies in Jakarta and Central Java. While the questionnaire for lecturers and senior students was distributed to PTN and PTS in Jakarta and Central Java. Data analysis was carried out with One Way Analysis of Variance (Annova). The results showed that there is no difference in perception between government auditors and internal government, public accountants, corporate accountants, company internal auditors, accounting lecturers and accounting students about the capabilities that must be possessed by forensic accountants. There are differences in perceptions between government internal auditors, public accountants, corporate internal audits and accounting lecturers with senior accounting students about the capabilities that must be possessed by forensic accountants. There is no difference in perception between government auditors and company accountants with senior accounting students about the capabilities that must be possessed by forensic accountants. In addition, overall respondents gave a high assessment of the knowledge, traits, skills and abilities that Forensic Accountants must possess. This shows that the respondent agrees that a forensic accountant needs to have high abilities according to the AICPA FVS Section criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of owner education, business scale, company age and accounting training on the use of accounting information. This research use survey method by using sample of Small Medium Enterprises (UKM) which is in Rembang Regency, sampling in this research is using cluster sampling with obtained research sample counted 120 UKM. 60 UKM from district around Rembang city, and 60 UKM others from district far from Rembang city. The analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of hypothesis show that owner education have positive effect to accounting information, business scale have no significant effect to accounting information, firm age have positive effect to accounting information, accountancy training have positive effect to accounting information.
