Purpose: One of the important elements in the implementation of education is an effort to improve the quality of learning. Until now, the implementation of learning in vocational schools still follows a non-block system. This condition results in the practice carried out by students not achieving optimal completion, so that the required standard competencies are not met. One solution is to implement a block learning system including the effectiveness of time, tools, and location. This type of research is quantitative with a population of class X students of the office management and business service expertise program at SMKS YPM 3 Taman. The results of the study found that regarding learning using the block system, many students stated that this system was not boring. In our study on the implementation of the block system, they argued that the block system helps students focus more on learning because it uses a longer time. Methodology/Approach: This study adopts a quantitative approach Findings: In our study on the implementation of the block system, many students stated that this system is not boring. They argued that the block system helps students focus more on learning because it uses a longer time. Research limitations/implications: The limitation of this study is that the population focus was only taken from 1 school. Practical implications: For further research, it is hoped that several populations from various new schools that are implementing the block system can be used. Purpose: This study aims to explore the effectiveness of operating models for SMMEs in the context of economic stimulation and growth. As the development of SMMEs is essential for their sustainability and expansion, enhancing and refining their operating models becomes crucial. Such improvements can lead to more efficient and profitable businesses that can thrive in the mainstream economy. Methodology: By evaluating the effectiveness of these models, this research addresses existing gaps in the literature concerning their impact on SMMEs. To investigate the effectiveness of operating models for SMMEs, a comprehensive literature review was conducted. Findings: The study reveals that SMMEs make significant contributions to the South African economy by operating in neglected markets, serving local communities, and stimulating economic growth. By adopting effective operating models, SMMEs can optimize resource utilization, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions. Furthermore, integrating principles of quality, ethical practices, and environmental sustainability within the operating model enables SMMEs to build trust, preserve natural resources, and enhance resilience. In conclusion, by recognizing the importance of operating models and taking concerted efforts to develop and implement them, countries can empower SMMEs to fulfil their potential as drivers of economic development and social progress in the country. Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze gender issues in development in Ethiopia, with a particular focus on the forest sector. This study seeks to identify the challenges and barriers to gender equality across key sectors such as education, employment, health, and political representation, while also assessing the government of Ethiopia's policies and legal frameworks related to gender. Methodology: The methodology employed in this study involves both quantitative and qualitative approaches, utilizing a literature review and secondary data analysis. Findings: Key findings indicate that, although Ethiopia has made significant progress in achieving gender equality, such as increased girls' enrollment in primary education, improved maternal health, and high political representation of women, there are still considerable disparities, particularly in the forest sector. Women face limitations in accessing forest resources and decision-making processes, despite their critical role in forest management. Additionally, the unpaid care work burden and limited access to education result in women being overrepresented in low-paid domestic work and less involved in politics and public life. Gender-blind policies remain a significant barrier to women's empowerment in the forest sector. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: a Research Paper

Purpose: This study examines the effect of the Intellectual Capital Growth Rate (ROGIC) on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, with Intellectual Capital (IC) as a mediating variable. Design/Methodology/Approach: Using a quantitative approach and path analysis, data from seven Islamic banks registered with the OJK for the 2018–2023 period were analyzed to measure the direct and indirect effects of ROGIC on Return on Assets (ROA). Findings: The results showed that ROGIC did not significantly affect ICs in most banks, and its immediate impact was limited. However, in banks such as KB Bukopin Syariah and BTPN Syariah, ROGIC has a significant indirect effect on financial performance through IC. These findings emphasize the importance of effective IC management in improving financial performance. Research limitations/implications: The limitations of the study include a limited sample, so further research with a larger sample and additional variables is recommended. Practical implications: The practical implication is the need for IC optimization by Islamic bank management. This research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between intellectual capital growth and financial performance in the context of Islamic banking. Paper type: Research paper

Purpose: This investigation aimed to ascertain how leadership style, position promotion, and job motivation affected Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) employees’ job satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach: This study’s methodology is quantitative and makes use of primary data collected from 132 employees. Research instrument testing, multiple regression analysis, traditional assumption testing, and hypothesis testing are examples of data analysis techniques. To use “Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25” as a tool for data processing and computation when conducting research. Findings: The findings demonstrate that at Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR), work motivation, leadership style, and position promotion all have a simultaneous and considerable influence on employee job satisfaction. Research limitations/implications: While there are several other elements that might also impact other employees’ job happiness, the three independent variables examined in this study are leadership style, promotion, and work motivation. Additionally, a questionnaire is used to collect data for this study, and the information gathered explains how Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) employees feel about their job satisfaction with the organization. Researchers have no control over the responses provided by respondents to each questionnaire. Practical implications: Lack of communication between leaders and employees and lack of space for employees to convey their input and aspirations. This implies that the lowest score on the employee job satisfaction variable needs to be improved by improving the compensation and benefits system so that employees feel valued and get proper welfare, establishing a welcoming and encouraging workplace to boost motivation and comfort among employees, providing career development programs and training to provide opportunities for employees to improve skills and career paths, implementing an objective and transparent performance appraisal system so that employees feel treated fairly in terms of promotions and awards and improving the balance between work and personal life with flexible work policies and proportional workloads. Originality/value: 87%. With the exception of a few brief quotes that are supplied as references, the researcher indicates that this study is unique and the first to be implemented at Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR). Purpose: The following study aims to explore the influence of transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and management support on innovation performance in insurance companies in Indonesia. Methodology: The following study employed a quantitative methodology, utilizing a survey as the tool for data collection. Data was collected by administering surveys to staff members of 4 insurance companies in Cirebon City. The SPSS software was used to enable multiple linear regression in the data analysis process. Findings: The following research results prove that transformational leadership (X1), organizational commitment (X2), and management support (X3) have a positive and significant influence on innovation performance (Y) in insurance companies. This finding confirms the importance of creating effective transformational leadership, increasing organizational commitment, and providing optimal management support to encourage increased innovation performance in the insurance sector. Improving these three factors contributes significantly, encouraging employees to be more active in innovating, and improving overall company performance. The analysis proves that transformational leadership has a regression coefficient of 0.279, while organizational commitment reaches 0.536, and management support is 0.131. This underscores that these three factors are key to driving innovation. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: a Research Paper
