Abstract

Al-Quran merupakan kitab kehidupan, memuat berbagai aturan menyangkut tata kehidupan manusia didunia dan hasil dari kehidupan itu diakhirat. Karenanya sudah pasti al-Quran berbicara tentang makanan. Istilah makanan dalam bahasa Arab disebutkan dengan 3 buah istilah kata yaitu aklun, thaʻam, dan ghiza’un. Namun dari ketiga istilah ini, al-Quran hanya menggunakan dua buah saja yaitu thaʻam, dan aklun. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, Buya Hamka dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat makanan dalam tafsir al-Azhar tidak lepas dari kolerasi antara ayat-ayat satu dengan ayat yang lainnya, sehingga dapat diperoleh pemahaman yang utuh tentang konsep makanan itu sendiri. Berdasarkan ayat-ayat yang dikaji dapat dipahami bahwasanya makna makanan dalam penafsiran Buya Hamka, dikelompokkan menjadi berbagai macam yaitu, makanan yang sehat, memakan makanan secara proporsional sesuai dengan kebutuhan, memiliki rasa aman terhadap makanan, makanan sebagai seruan, makanan sebagai peringatan, makanan sebagai anugerah. Pengaruh makanan terhadap kehidupan manusia sangat besar pengaruhnya kepada jiwa seseorang, diantaranya akan makbul doa, membuat jiwa jadi tenang, maka suatu suapan yang haram ke dalam perutnya, maka tidaklah akan diterima amalnya selama empat puluh hari, makanan yang tidak baik akan merusakkan kesehatan dan merusakkan juga bagi akal budi.

Abstract

Dalam al-Quran kata “Tuhan” dipakai untuk sebutan tuhan selain Allah, seperti menyebut berhala, hawa nafsu, dan dewa. Namun kata “Allah” adalah sebutan khusus dan tidak dimiliki oleh kata lain selain-Nya, kerena hanya Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang wajib wujud-Nya itu yang berhak menyandang nama tersebut, selain-Nya tidak ada, bahkan tidak boleh. Hanya Dia juga yang berhak memperoleh keagungan dan kesempurnaan mutlak, sebagaimana tidak ada nama yang lebih agung dari nama-Nya itu. Keesaan Allah dapat dibuktikan dengan tiga bagian pokok, yaitu : kenyataan wujud yang tampak, rasa yang terdapat dalam jiwa manusia, dan dalil-dalil logika. Kenyataan wujud yang tampak al-Quran menggunakan seluruh wujud sebagai bukti, khususnya keberadaan alam raya ini dengan segala isinya. Secara logis hanya ada satu Tuhan. Apabila Tuhan lebih dari satu maka hanya satu saja yang tampil sebagai yang pertama, dan juga seandainya ada dua pencipta, maka akan kacau ciptaan, karena jika masing-masing pencipta menghendaki sesuatu yang tidak dikehendaki oleh yang lain, maka kalau keduanya berkuasa, ciptaan pun akan kacau atau tidak akan mewujud; kalau salah satu mengalahkan yang lain, maka yang kalah bukan Tuhan; dan apabila mereka berdua bersepakat, maka itu merupakan bukti kebutuhan dan kelemahan mereka, sehingga keduanya bukan Tuhan, karena Tuhan tidak mungkin membutuhkan sesuatu atau lemah atas sesuatu.

Abstract

Crystalization of statement “Al-Qur’an will be protected all the time” has been totally convinced and created by any form. One of them is the tradition of Al-Qur’an writing and printing. Circumstancially, this phenomenon indicated the development of living Qur’an. This paper will discuss about the development of Mushaf Al-Qur’an of Indonesia, from the tradition of hand writing until digital era. Beside it, this paper will also analyze the phenomenon of Mushaf of Al-Qur’an in Indonesia, in the concept of living Qur’an, by reception of hermeneutic, aesthetic and cultural. This paper concludes; the development of writing and printing Al-Qur’an, includes hand writing and digitalization era, is the tradition has been always preserved by Indonesian people. As a kind of living Qur’an, the Mushaf of Indonesia is a evidence of the achievement of cultural transformation and a good civilization.

Abstract

This article discusses about the biography of Amin al-Khuli and his thought; literary interpretation of the Quran (TafsirSastrawi). He offers this method because the Quran is Arabic(‘arabiyyunmubin). Therefore, the understanding of the Quran can only be revealed by using literary interpretation (tafsirsastrawi). This method has two important studies: the study of the external Quran (dirasah mahawla al-Qur’an) and the study of the internal Quran (dirasah ma fi al-Qur’an)

Abstract

Awareness of the relationship between text, context and interpreters always experiences dynamics from time to time. From the classical to contemporary times, every interpreter always tries to present the results of interpretations that give benefit to anyone. The same is true for contextual interpreters, such as Fazlur Rahman, Amina Wadud, Muhammad Syahrur, and Khaled Abou El Fadl who will be briefly reviewed in this article. This article is the result of Abdullah Saeed's reflection on four contemporary commentators in interpreting the verses of legal ethics. Abdullah Saeed is an Australian scientist from the Maldives. Abdullah Saeed is also present to give a new color in understanding the Qur'an by taking into account the context of the revelation and context when the Qur'an was interpreted. This article is adapted from Abdullah Saeed's article entitled "Some Reflections on the Contextualist Approach to Ethico-legal Texts of the Quran" which he published in the Bulletin of SOAS. Therefore, this article seeks to find the vertices of Abdullah Saeed's reflection on some contextualist thinking ideas.

Abstract

This article discusses understanding the Qur'anic text with a hermeneutic approach to a contemporary approach that offers a new approach to interpreting the Qur’an (philosophically). In this hermeneutic approach the texts of the Qur'an do not stand alone, but are very dependent on the surrounding context, which includes text, context, and contextualization. The existence of hermeneutics with its own methodology brings a new nuance in the interpretation of the Qur'an. With this method the Qur’an is no longer considered as something sacred, because in the eyes of hermeneutics when the text descends and is in the midst of the reality of human life, it is fully owned by humans and has the right to be interpreted, internalized, and understood whatever it wants. Everything contained in the text, for hermeneutics, can be interpreted and understood its meaning clearly. And this is what distinguishes it fundamentally from the theme of interpretation in the Ulumul Quran discourse

Abstract

Abu Talib's faith in the realm of Islamic thought still has a very long debate. Some scholars have claimed that he is an infidel, while others have claimed that he was a believer. Abu Talib was not uncommon also mixed up in political issues at the time of the power held by Mu'awiya sought to discredit Ali and his family. In the Koran, there are many verses that are considered by some scholars that the verses 113-114, al-Qasas verse 56, Surah al-An'am verse 26, and other letters relating to the faith of Abu Talib. The study was written as a reflection of the author's interest in knowing more about the subject by focusing Ibn Kathir's interpretation of the study as a Sunni interpretation and interpretation Tabataba'i as a homage to Shiite interpretation. The equation of these two interpreters is that Ibn Kathir explicitly says that these verses descend are addressed to Abu Talib (The Prophet's Uncle), who tells of Abu Talib's refusal to recite the two sentences of the shahadah at the end of his life, and still holds to his former religion Religion Abdul Mutallib. So also with T{abat{aba’i who said that Abu Talib died in a state of no faith and still hold on to the religion of his ancestors. While the location of the differences between them is contained in the interpretation of the letter al-An'am Ibn Kathir says the verse goes down with regard to Abu Talib who defends the Prophet to carry out his da'wah. T{abat{aba’i is different from Ibn Kathir in the explanation of his riwayah, namely the interpretation of 'Iyasi and Qumi's commentary, he says from the line of Ahl Bait that Abu Talib is a believer based on his evidence and his sayings. Essentially these two interpretations are the same, the most notable distinction lies only in the flow they profess, Ibn Kathir as a Sunni interpreter, T{abat{aba’i as a Shiite interpreter.

Abstract

Secara nash, kata jihad itu sendiri disebutkan dalam Alquran yang tersebar di beberapa surat. Kata jihad ini dengan derivasinya terulang sebanyak empat puluh satu kali dalam berbagai bentuknya. Diskursus mengenai jihad merupakan bagian dari berbagai wacana ke-Islaman hingga saat ini, bahkan menjadi salah satu isu sensitif yang menjadi perdebatan menarik di kalangan para ulama, intelektual Islam dan juga intelektual Barat, baik dalam kaitannya dengan doktrin fikih maupun dalam konteks politik. Mereka banyak melakukan kajian dan analisa mengenai jihad ini, baik menyangkut ruang lingkupnya, pembahasan maupun pro-kontra mengenai maknanya. Salah satu contoh yaitu munculnya pemahaman yang ketat, di mana jihad dipahami sebagai suatu perang fisik melawan sesuatu yang dianggap batil dan menyimpang dari syariat Islam. Akhirnya ini kemudian dipraktikkan, umumnya terorganisir dalam suatu wadah atau organisasi tertentu. Muncullah kasus-kasus peledakan dan bom bunuh diri dengan sengaja dilakukan di tempat-tempat umum yang dianggap sebagai tempat maksiat dan tempat-tempat yang dipandang sebagai saham dan produk Barat (kafir). Di sini, jihad diartikan sebagai suatu perang suci melawan orang-orang kafir yang memang menurut mereka halal darahnya dan bahkan wajib diperangi. Artikel ini mengulas pemahaman jihad yang sesuai aturan Islam dengan mengkomparasikan dua pemahaman penafsir yang berbeda sudut pandang dan zaman. Sayyid Qutb dan Muhammad Quraish Shihab adalah dua tokoh ulama tafsir yang sangat terkenal sehingga dengan menganalisis dan mengkomparasikan dua pemahaman ahli tafsir ini dapat menjembatani pemahaman-pemahaman yang dianggap melenceng dan kembali kepada pemahaman syariat Islam yang dibawa oleh Rasulullah saw.

Abstract

Trade always plays a vital role in the social and economic life of human beings of all tim, so that business interests will influence the behavior of all the individual, social, and any regional, national, and international. This studys is based on constituent concerns in view of the condition of trade problems both in the Islamic world in particular and the international community at large. The method used is the muqaran method to see the comparison between the opinion of al- Qurtubi and Quraish Shihab about tijarah (trade) in the Quran so as to see visible differences or similarities, especially in terms of both methodology and interpretation. Therefore, the author of this study is expected to be able to analyze the opinion of al-Qurtubi and that of M. Quraish Shihab about tijarah (trade) and how hung of related to the principle of tijarah (trade) so as to formulate how to trade in accordance with the commandments of God and His Messenger. The equation of the two interpreters that they equally say that the verses were revealed on issues discussed on tijarah (trade). In terms of methodology they interpret the verse interpretation paragraph in accordance with the Quran, but the explanations are the different al-Qurtubi also use the narrations of the earlier scholars, historians and israiliyat narrators, and so forth, while Quraish Shihab explain these verses by including the views of previous scholars both from the clergy, Sunni and Shiite ulama. Differences in interpretation between al-Qurtubi and Quraish Shihab verses above, al-Qurtubi said these verses describe tijarah (trade) over the fore with the legal aspects, it is seen as the interpretation that he did indeed use a style of interpretation fiqh , al-Qurtubi says that the origin of the fallacy is also known as the forgotten, forgot to get directions and to forget that which it is traded hints and error, so it is clear that al-Qurtubi put forward it directly to the trade laws of God that is with include guidance and misguidance. While the Quraish Shihab said that the trade should be established with a willingness between sellers and buyers, although compliance is nothing hidden in my heart, but the indicators and signs can be seen. Consent and granted or what is known in the customs of the handover are the forms that are used to demonstrate compliance.

Abstract

Barat memiliki agenda dalam ekspansionisme dan dominasi dunia. Mereka memiliki apa yang disebut kehidupan modern, sains modern, dan dunia modern. Menjadi modern berarti mengikuti mereka dan menyalin semuanya dari mereka, meninggalkan budaya dan hidup berdasarkan apa yang disebut hak asasi manusia. Tantawi Jauhari adalah salah satu ulama yang sadar tentang bahaya ekspansi dan peradaban Barat, sehingga dengan tulisannya, tanpa ragu dia berpandangan bahwa penyebab rendahnya moral Muslim merupakan agenda yang tersembunyi Barat. Dan artikel ini akan menganalisis pemikiran Tantawi Jauhari tentang pandangannya dalam menghadapi bahaya ekspansionisme dan dominasi Barat dengan mempelajari bukunyaAl-Jawahir Fi Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-Karim.Dalam tafsirnya, ia menyimpulkan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan, pernikahan, poligami, manajemen keuangan dan fashion wanita beberapa persoalan umat Islam yang mampu diekspansi dan dominasi oleh peradaban Barat modern dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Syeikh T{ant{a>wi> telah merespon dengan sangat baik melalui pandangannya dan mencoba untuk memperingatkan setiap Muslim untuk kembali ke jalan, berpegang pada syariat dan menghindari mengikuti budaya Barat secara membabi buta.
