Sebagai institusi yang memiliki ciri khas kedirgantaraan, maka setiap penerbitan dari proceeding ini akan disertai dengan seminar nasional yang temanya dalam lingkup Teknologi dan Kedirgantaraan. Abstract

User Interface Design and User Experience both on a website will make visitors want to linger on those websites. But otherwise, a User Interface Design and User Experience bad a website makes visitors leave the website. This study, will analyze the website at the College of Technology Adisutjipto (STTA) Yogyakarta from the point of view of the user interface and user experience that is part of the Human Computer Interaction (HCI), in order to evaluation  and follow-up the website STTA to better meet expectations of users / visitors. The test result can be concluded that website STTA has Usability and Quality of Information is good, and Content, Pleasure, Classic Aesthetics, Expressive Aesthetics is enough

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi baterai selalu dikembangkan selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Baterai yang beredar dipasaran saat ini adalah baterai basah dan baterai kering.Baterai basah yang banyak digunakan untuk accu mobil dan sepeda motor. Baterai kering banyak digunakan pada baterai untuk senter, radio, jam dinding dan lain-lain.Perkembangan kebutuhan untuk menciptakan baterai yang ramah lingkungan dan mempunyai energi yang cukup besar maka perlu dicari solusinya.Salah satu solusi yang sedang dikembangkan saat ini adalah terciptanya baterai udara. Prinsip kerja baterai udara adalah mengambil sebagian udara sekitar yang kontak langsung dengan katoda karbon aktif sehingga molekul-molekul udara tersebut akan bercampur dengan cairan elektrolit pada baterai dan menghasilkan tegangan dan arus listrik setelah katoda terhubung dengan anoda menggunakan aluminium foil. Penelitian ini menggunakan massa serbuk karbon aktif 1250 miligram dan luasan aluminium foil 36 cm2 . Cairan elektrolit yang digunakan adalah air laut. Hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh menggunakan alat multimeter. Pengukuran Tegangan rata-rata adalah 0,781 Volt, Arus rata-rata adalah 1,043 mA dan Daya listrik yang dihasilkan sebesar 8,148 mW. Keywords: aluminium foil, serbuk karbon aktif, air laut, udara, tegangan,arus, daya

Abstract

The fast progress in telecommunication, especially in data communication, makes anyone get the information they need easily. It also makes more traffic in the channel. The intensity of the traffic is one of the parameters that considered by the IT unit. In this paper, the intensity of the traffic in institution A is calculated using Sharing System Teletraffic Model. As the result, the arrival rate and service rate are 1,129,139 bits per second and 16.566.740 bits per second. Keywords—telecommunication traffic, sharing system, internet

Abstract

This study aims to improve the economic value of farmers' land in the district of Bantul, so that the land has a higher economic value with the appropriate plants. Many farmers are still using self-learning and experience from generation to generation in determining the pattern of plant species, so that the harvest not optimal. So we need a system that can help farmers to determine the type of tuber plants suitable for chemical substances land. The research was conducted in Bantul District for data collection in the field. The results of data collection in the field can be a benchmark for the decision of farmers to determine the type of tuber plants to be planted based on the criteria of soil nutrition. Criteria is a barometer determining the type of tuber is KTK, O, Ca, C / N, Magnesium, Carbon. This research uses genetic algorithm. The results showed that the best tuber plant rank in Bantul Regency was the first rank of red onion, followed by garut bulbs, sweet potato and root talas. Genetic algorithm can be applied for tuber selection in Bantul regency, but has a weakness because it is probabilistic.

Abstract

Carburetor modification to the venturi mixer to put a hole in the center of the venturi (end of hole venturi type nozzle on the outlet end venturi section) can turn the engine generator using biogas fuel. Airflow velocity carburetor venturi section will begin upon entering the venturi section and will be maximal at the time in the middle of the venturi section. So of course the location of the placement of venturi carburetor venturi mixer on the right cross section will be obtained velocity airflow + optimum biogas. It is necessary for optimizing the placement location of the modification of the carburetor venturi mixer, air flow + in order to obtain optimum biogas which will have implications for the performance of the generator engine. In this research, manufacture three prototypes nozzle venturi mixer that will be placed at different places in the venturi duct, then the performance test was done to determine the type and location of the venturi nozzle prototype mixer is optimal. From the results of this study that : 1) Prototype nozzle venturi mixer with the tip of the nozzle in the middle (shape elbow) has the most complicated construction than the second type (type 1 and 2) the other. Manufacturing and assembly to form the elbow (type 3) is also more complicated and more difficult , this is because the space available / remaining biogas is limited to hole channel, and 2) Using a prototype generator machine type 3 is more stable when compared with other types, despite the decline, but not very significant in comparison with the other 2 types, so the prototype mixer venturi nozzle is the most optimal type 3 (square shape).

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Produk Barang dan Jasa pada suatu koperasi bertujuan untuk meminimalisir biaya publikasi produk melalui media iklan, baik elektronik maupun cetak. Selain itu, sistem dapat membantu koperasi mengelola pemasaran produk serta memperluas jaringan pemasaran. Penelitian dilakukan di KOPKARDO (Koperasi Karyawan dan Dosen) STTA Yogyakarta. Sistem dibangun dengan teknologi web yang terdiri dari dua bagian, yaitu bagian server yang akan digunakan oleh admin koperasi untuk mengelola konten pada informasi produk yang dipasarkan dan bagian kedua pada sisi client sebagai pengguna yang mengakses informasi produk-produk koperasi. Berdasarkan teori yang ada dan data yang sudah didapatkan di lapangan, dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dapat membantu koperasi untuk mengelola serta memperkenalkan produknya, selain itu dapat membantu para anggota khususnya yang ingin membeli produk-produk yang disediakan oleh koperasi. Hasil uji fungsionalitas sistem menunjukkan bahwa sistem telah berjalan baik sebesar 89,47% pada sistem server (admin) dan 100% pada sistem client (pengguna).

Abstract

Grid computing is a group of computers that connected to computer network and working together to complete a certain task. The computers inside must be coheren so the processors can work evenly when given a task from server. Grid computing can be used in many areas and purpopes, and in this research it will be used to compile C/C++ program. Compilation is a process to transform a human readable source code into a computer readable code. The compilation process will take place in a personal computer (PC). By using grid system in compilation process, the waiting time of a source code will be reduced as the compilation task will be divided among the computers. For that reason a C/C++ compiler software that using grid computing will be made. The task will be distributed among the computers inside the grid. It can also help someone who want to compile C/C++ source code but he doesn’t have the compiler on his PC.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the effect of mixing time, mixing speed and curing temperature on morphological and mechanical properties of epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. The method used in the manufacturing process was hand lay-up method. The fibers with 30 mesh and 25% volume fraction are mixed with epoxy for the time variations of 15 and 45 minutes by speed variation of 695 rpm, 773 rpm, and 853 rpm. In order to investigate the effects of curing temperature, the same mixture was blended manually for 20 minutes and cured with the temperature variation of 40, 50, 60, 70 and 800C. Experimental results show that mixing the fiber and matrix with the speed of 695 rpm for 15 minutes increases the tensile strength but slightly declines the impact strength. This phenomenon could be possibly caused by the longer the mixing time, the higher the amount of foreign particles entered into the mixture that could affect its properties. Both the tensile and impact tests show that the temperature of 80oC is the optimum curing temperature for epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. Crack deflection presented by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) micrographs results in an increase in the crack propagation path and in the energy-dissipating events in the region immediately ahead of the crack tip.

Abstract

In recent years, turbine use or pump operation as a turbine (PAT) has become an ongoing alternative to managing Water Distribution Networks (WDNs) in microhydro power generation units. Commercial pumps available on the market have a variety of shapes and models. Generally, pump manufacturers do not provide their pump characteristics curves that work as turbines. This paper presents a theoretical study on the efficiency of pump operation used as turbine (Pump as Turbine). Based on the results of the study, PAT efficiency increases with the specific speed (Nsp) and with special impeller will increase efficiency by 93% 8.07% and 5.45% and efficiency also increased by modifying the thickness of the pump blade.Kata Kunci : Pump as Turbine (PAT) , blade, efficiency, specific speed

Abstract

The important aircraft combat role for air defense, based on the state to develop a fighter with capabilities increasingly sophisticated. Until 2016, the fighter who is still being developed fighter 4th generation and 5th generation. Basically, the classification generation combat aircraft does not have a basic standard. In this study, will be evaluating of fighter technology in the world of the configuration aspect. Based on the configuration and design goals, there were marked differences between the 4th and 5th generation. Studies in the literature data come only in the form of printed and electronic articles are public domain data. Part studied in pattern 4th and 5th generation are nose, wing, fuselage, tail, engine and weapon configurations. The fifth generation fighter concept is low Radar Cross Section, so that the aircraft is difficult to identify the other. This concept is in the design of the internal weapon bay, blended wing body, internal fuel tank, low observable inlet, and the use of radar absorbent material in the composite. Each aircraft that does not have these characteristics, it is included in the fourth generation. The results of the study can be used as reference for the development of 4th or 5th generation fighter.
