This study expresses a positive classroom environment depending on two axes; physical setting of the classroom and the role of the teacher as a positive atmosphere creator. By applying the proposed environment, the study tries to discover the impact of it on EFL college students’ self-actualization and risk-taking. To obtain the objectives and to verify a hypothesis, an experimental design was applied by using two groups, experimental and control. The sample of the study consists of sixty EFL first stage college students divided into two groups, each of which is thirty. The first group is the experimental, which is taught in a positive classroom environment as stated by this study. The second group is the control one, which is taught traditionally by letting the classroom as it is, without any positive addition. Two measurement tools have been used; a scaled questionnaire that has been adapted from Stephen D. Luft (2007), and a self-actualization scale that is developed by Jones & Crandall (1986).Using a t-test for the two independent samples shows notable effects on EFL college students’ risk-taking and self-actualization. Based on the results obtained, educational implications that are concerned with teachers and students have been put forward.

The aim of this study was to explore the differences between the skills developed in teacher training programs and the skills used in the classrooms. The population of this study was 937 Head Masters BPS-17 selected through IBA Sukkur. These Head Masters were selected for primary and Elementary schools by the government of Sindh. Data was collected from the participants through simple random sampling. The sample size for this study was 187 IBA Head Masters all over the Sindh. The questionnaire was used as a research tool to get the responses from IBA selected Head Masters about their teachers who are teaching in their schools. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistics. Participants’ responses were analyzed through percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The mean score shows that the majority of teachers don’t have planning (M= 2.31), presentation (M=2.29), and management skills (2.34). The mean score of command over the subject factor is (M= 2.02), appropriate teaching methodologies factor (M= 2.28) and evaluation skills factor (M= 2.22) shows that majority of teachers don’t have command over the subject and they do not use appropriate and modern teaching methodologies. Furthermore, teachers do not have evaluation skills to measure the students learning objectives and to know the students' strengths and weaknesses. It was concluded that whatever teachers learned in the professional trainings do not use those skills in the classrooms because most teachers are not interested in teacher training programs.

The existence of ornament which adorns almost the entire walls of the tomb functions as decorative or symbolic. Ornamen provided information about the life of Raja Binamu when he was still victorious. The analysis is described in a descriptive qualitative manner with an interpretive approach. The discussion is described based on problems related to how the ornament is able to be an attraction of visitors or tourists. The scavenger began by analyzing the ornament in the tomb with Thomas Murno's ornamental composition theory which was developed in Guntur, according to Murno, organizing the composition in art works in this case there were four models of ornaments, namely: composition based on expediency, composition based on representation, composition based on expository, and thematic based composition. It also uses concepts that are based on tourism science strategies. The results obtained in the form of an understanding that the ornaments there contain two understandings, namely ornamentation as a decorative element, namely the presence of thematic repetition ornaments such as parengreng flower motifs. The symbolic ornaments explain the life and activities of kings during his life and have a moral message. Related to its potential as a tourist attraction, the presence of ornaments needs an understanding and image strategy in the form of 1) bringing up ornaments or ornaments in each of the promotional media, 2) providing information about the types of decoration or ornaments in books (booklets) tourist guides and 3 ) creating merchandise taken from ornamental motifs in the Raja Binamu tomb complex

The present study attempts to scrutinize talk types of an in-service teacher in an EFL classroom interaction based on the Foreign Language Interaction (FLINT) system proposed by Moskowitz (1971). It was conducted qualitatively through the lens of a case study by involving an experienced female EFL teacher at a senior high school level. The data were collected through several procedures consist of direct observation, audio recording, and interview section. The result disclosed that from 12 talk types in the FLINT system, 9 types were used by the teacher. One of them ‘praises or encourages’ took place as the highest type. It denoted that the teacher really appreciated the students’ effort to boost their learning motivation. Meanwhile, the least type used by the teacher was ‘criticizes student behavior’. According to the interview result, the teacher rarely used criticism because she tried to keep the students' feelings and mental. Thus, this study is expected to provide a new reference especially for EFL teachers as a consideration in using talk to get students’ attention and participation during the learning process.

The present study aimed at investigating alternative assessment (AA) within the Yemeni university EFL classrooms in terms of identifying the challenges of using AA to assess undergraduate EFL students from the perspectives of the faculty. Data were collected, through a questionnaire, from (66) lecturers and professors of different ranks who teach EFL at the collegiate level in two Yemeni public universities and one national university. The results of the study indicated that faculty members of English departments at Yemeni universities face some challenges of using AA to assess undergraduate EFL students. These challenges belong to various factors, including the instructional environment, the students, the management of Yemeni universities, the faculty members, or the nature of AA. Statistically significant differences were found in the mean scores according to years of experience variable between respondents with less than 5 years and those with 5-10 years of experience in favor of those with less than 5 years of experience, but not according to the type of university, gender, and specialization variables. Accordingly, some recommendations were given to address the identified challenges, which might lead to a better implementation of AA in Yemeni university EFL classrooms.

This study aims to analyze the differences in the use of verb synonyms in Indonesian language. Data are verbs and their synonym members, which are collected using observation and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed using substitution and descriptive methods. The results showed that the distribution analysis provided two possible characteristics. The first possibility consisted of a number of verbs which have the possibility to distribute in parallel with all members of the synonym and the second possibility was the verbs that could not substitute one another (complementarily distributed) with all members of the synonym.
