Abstract

Griya teknik elektro is a shop engaged in the supply of goods and services to repair engineering and electrical equipment. Currently, in carrying out transactions and processing financial reports, they still use paper media as the main option for storing transaction data and storing information, which ultimately causes difficulty in finding data and the high costs required to run their business. Because of this, the authors decided to carry out research entitled design of web-based accounting and sales systems at griya teknik elekto with the intention that all the problems faced by them both in the transaction process to report processing can be resolved. The accounting and sales systems contained in this study are described in the form of modeling use case diagrams along with class diagrams. The final product of this research is a web-based accounting and sales system that allows users to perform various data processing such as managing accounting such as customer ledgers and supplier ledgers, managing attributes such as brands, cities and stores, managing customers such as customer data and customer payments. , managing inventory such as products, categories and stocks, managing reports such as sales reports and return reports, managing purchase lists, managing purchase returns and changing passwords and also login and logout from the system.

Abstract

E-Learning is an approach to developing knowledge, skills, and competencies through internet technology-based facilities. E-Learning allows teaching materials to be conveyed to students via the internet, intranet or other computer network media. Mts Al Falah Pancuran is a school located in a remote area on the border between Jambi province and South Sumatra province. In this area there is no internet network so that it attacks teachers in finding references to make material as learning materials and challenges students to find references for learning. Build a web-based E-Learning application and implement it using the Nodejs web programming language, for database management using mongodb and its creation using the waterfall method which includes analysis, design, implementation and testing. From the results of the analysis and interviews the researcher tried to apply the web-based E-Learning concept by making one of the existing computers a server for the E-Learning application using a Local Area Network (LAN) network, so that the application can still be accessed even without an internet network because the application is running. On a computer that has functioned as a server and accessed by client computers in the same network.

Abstract

The use of the camera can only be used as a monitor which is usually used not equipped with other devices that allow it to hit an object, be it a human or an object and by using a camera is a hardware device that functions to capture images and convert them into digital images that can be read and processed. by a computer using a robot controlled by a smartphone in approaching objects, the camera sensor is useful for detecting colored ball objects. The detected colors consist of Red, Green, Blue, all colors are processed in the microcontroller which functions as the brain of the robot that is made and later the robot will send information in the form of SMS the results of color objects that have been detected. Research results On the camera sensor, the larger the megapixel camera used, the clearer the resulting image will be in the detection process. The time for sending SMS to the destination number is based on the signal quality of the GSM provider used and in developing information, real-time object information can be added. for object detection will be displayed directly by the smartphone connected to the robot.

Abstract

Ulu script is one of the letterforms or writing systems used and developed bt the communities of South Sumatra, specifically the Serawai, Lembak, Rejang, and Pasemah ethnic groups. Typically, Ulu script is used for daily activities such as storytelling, writing poetry, and recording customary laws. Ulu script needs to be preserved because its usage has been declining due to the introduction of the Latin script, which has become the international standard. To preserve Ulu script, a tool is needed to assist in transliterating Latin text into Ulu script. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based application for transliterating Latin text to Ulu script using mapping techniques and the sequential search algorithm. The resulting application can assist and facilitate users in transliterating text from Latin to Ulu script.

Abstract

Chicken meat is a food ingredient with balanced nutrition needed by the body. The quality of each meat is a combination and variation of the properties of the meat, so that meat products can be eaten. The purpose of this study was to classify chicken meat production by province in Indonesia using K-Means Clustering analysis. From the analysis results, the best Average Silhouette Total is 0.84 and consists of 3 clusters. Cluster 1 is a province group with high chicken meat production, with a total of 19 provinces. Cluster 2 is a province group with moderate chicken meat production, with a total of 4 provinces. Cluster 3 is a province group with low chicken meat production, with a total of 11 provinces.

Abstract

One of the activities that humans always do is communication. This communication is carried out by everyone, but there are special ways of communication that are carried out by people with special needs, such as the deaf. The communication uses sign language, where learning the language is quite difficult, especially for students who are deaf. There is a solution that can solve this problem, namely the use of technology. One of the technologies that can be used is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is able to combine the physical world and digital elements that can be used to facilitate human activities. Augmented Reality is designed and packaged in the form of a mobile-based application to make it easier to learn sign language. The use of this designed application is specifically aimed at students with special needs. In addition, the use of the application can also be felt by a group of people who are learning sign language. Application testing involves various aspects, such as functional testing, device compatibility testing, performance testing, AR accuracy and compatibility testing, interaction testing, usability testing, and testing in real environments. App testing engages users, either in user testing or through the feedback they provide. The users involved are divided into 2, namely users as experts in AR testing and users as customers or in this case teachers. The test results prove the value with a high percentage. Tests by experts achieve an average value of 93.13% and tests by customers achieve an average value of 93.60%. This average value can be classified as a reference that the application functions properly, according to needs, is safe, responsive, and provides a satisfying experience.

Abstract

Currently, the use of Internet technology is overgrowing. With the current pandemic conditions, a student or worker must carry out activities remotely using the internet network, especially the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) network. This research describes the performance comparison of a WLAN network using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies in the tethering process on smartphones. Determining the performance of a WLAN network that works at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies will be focusing of this study. The study of literature, the internet, and observation for data collection is the method used in this study. Quality of Service (QOS) measures the performance of the two WLAN networks with parameters including throughput, packet loss, and delay values. This network performance test was carried out using scenarios in urban and rural areas in the WLAN network tethering process with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. This wireless LAN network comparison analysis process uses Wireshark supporting software to maximize measurement. The results of measurements using the QOS parameter are then analyzed, and whether the category of good or bad wireless LAN network performance quality uses the TIPHON standard is known.

Abstract

In a university that has an informatics profile, a computer laboratory is needed. The laboratory is also an important facility for practicing the application of the theory that has been learned. Therefore, a laboratory head is needed who has competence in managing the laboratory so that learning is more effective. However, what happened was that the head of the laboratory who was elected did not have competence because the selection system was subjective so that it could not solve the existing problems. Therefore we need a decision support system in selecting the head of the computer laboratory. The method used in making this decision is the weighted product (WP) because this method can solve multiple withdrawals and easier calculations, and the time for calculations is shorter than other decision-making methods. after ranking with existing calculations, the results obtained from the calculation of the Weighted Product (WP) method with the highest value are in alternative A2 with the name Gery Mivano, S, T with a value of 0.374910. These results can make it easier for academics to make decisions for heads of computer laboratories who have competence in solving existing laboratory problems so that practical learning in computer laboratories can be more effective. Abstract

Sentiment analysis is an activity that is used to analyze public opinion about an incident such as the Ministry of Education and Culture's internet assistance quota during the Covid-19 pandemic through one of the Twitter social media. Twitter is a microblogging platform that is used to write an opinion or opinion about an event that can be used as a source of data used. The Naïve Bayes method and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are methods with a Machine Learning approach that can be used to perform sentiment analysis on Kemdikbudristek policies regarding MoEC Quotas in the process of classifying a tweet based on its emotional level and knowing the accuracy comparison between the Naïve Bayes method and the Support Vector Machine ( SVM). The results of the sentiment analysis process using the Naïve Bayes Algorithm and Support Vector Machine (SVM) based on public opinion, in this case Twitter users regarding the Ministry of Education and Culture Quota policies, resulted in a higher level of accuracy for the Support Vector Machine (SVM) than Naïve Bayes with an accuracy of 80%, for an average -the average precision value is 80.3%, recall is 80.3% and f1-score is 80.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a machine learning-based application capable of detecting hand gestures and patterns in Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO). Sign language plays a crucial role in non-verbal communication, particularly for individuals with speech impairments like the deaf. However, the challenge of comprehending sign language often inhibits interactions between the deaf and others. In an effort to address this barrier, the research leverages machine learning techniques with a focus on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method, utilizing a dataset annotated with hand gesture landmarks. Landmark information providing detailed positions and shapes of key points on the hand, the CNN model can learn specific features essential for classification. The resulting application aims to bridge communication between the deaf and other individuals who may not understand sign language. By harnessing this technology, a significant improvement in the accuracy of hand gesture classification in sign language is anticipated, thereby strengthening the communication and interaction capabilities of the deaf within their environment.
