This paper examines research in using Web Based Inquiry Learning (WBIL) as an alternative to online inquiry learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. WBIL was built to assist junior high school students in understanding everyday science phenomena with a guided inquiry framework and various scaffolding sources. In addition, it aims to support teachers in designing their virtual inquiry classrooms for the new normal learning era. Learning using Web Based Inquiry Learning is effective in increasing students' inquiry abilities on environmental pollution material in the context of ESD (Educational Sustainable Development) which is marked by the results of the pretest and posttest data t-test calculations, obtained sig. 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). While the results of the LKS analysis that students have done on the web with the average score on each indicator is 83.2% with a high interpretation. WBIL in environmental pollution is also effective in increasing students' environmental awareness, which is indicated by the average percentage of all indicators, there is an increase in the percentage from 74.5% to 79.0%.

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of the realistic mathematics education with geogebra media towards learning outcomes on geometry based on students’ spatial ability. This research s quasi experimental with experimental group 2x2 factorial research design. Sampling was taken random sampling technique. Before taking the sample, the student's ability equivalence test was conducted in each class using the one-way Anova The gathered data in this research are students’ spatial ability scores obtained from the spatial ability test and learning outcomes of geometry test. The collected data which after were analyzed using two way Anova. Before using two way Anova the data were analized for normality and homogeneity of variance. The results of this study are: (1) There are differences in geometry learning outcomes between students who follow the realistic mathematics education learning model assisted by geogebra media and the learning model commonly applied by teachers, namely the cooperative learning model, (2) There is an interaction of realistic mathematics education assisted by geogebra media with spatial abilities on geometry learning outcomes (Fcount of 5.937(p < 0.05)), this shows that the learning outcomes of geometry among students who attend realistic mathematics education assisted by geogebra media are better than students who take conventional learning in groups of students with spatial abilities.

The aim of this study was to determine the feasibility of android-based teaching materials in the nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds. The development of android teaching materials can make it easier for students to access teaching materials in a practical way and help understand the nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds, and it is hoped that students can take advantage of information technology in terms of learning. The research used research and development methods with the ADDIE model. Data collection technique was using validation questionnaires and response questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the analysis show that the validation of the material aspect is 91.39% with very feasible criteria , media aspect validation 90% in the very feasible criteria, 94.73% linguist validation in the very feasible criteria, the chemistry teacher response questionnaire was 93.75% with very good criteria, the student response questionnaire for the small group trial obtained a score of 89.32% with very good criteria and the results of the student response questionnaire for the broad scale trial were 89.45% with very good criteria. It can be concluded that android-based teaching materials are in the form of applications with a capacity of 42 MB which were developed with very good student responses and very good teacher responses, so that these teaching materials are very suitable to be used as learning tools.

The cause of COVID-19, namely SARS-CoV-2, continues to mutate form a new variant. The latest variant that has been detected, namely variant Omicron or known as variant B.1.1.529, has a speed of high transmission rate up to 5 times that of the previous variant, including Delta variant. Since the last peak of daily Covid-19 cases was in July 2021 hits 56,000 new cases per day, for the first time in 2022 new case rate hits 64,147 positive confirmed cases as of 16 February 2022, especially in Riau Province, there was an additional of new active cases 539. This figure is considered quite high because Riau Province is included in the top 10 province with the highest number of positive cases at this time. The purpose of this research is to analyze the capacity of the Riau Provincial Health Office in preventing a drastic increase in the positive rate. Based on research results the capacity of the Riau Provincial Health Office in preventing an increase in the positivity rate The omicron variant focuses on mitigation and preparedness enhancement including: (1) promotion of healthy lifestyles and tightening of 3M implementation, (2) restrictions community activities, (3) acceleration of vaccines and, (4) provision of facilities and infrastructure hospital. The conclusion in this research despite the Covid-19 prevention the omicron variant is already quite good in Riau Province, some efforts are needed increased by the local government in anticipating the worst-case scenario if The positive rate jumped high considering the challenges in handling Covid-19 from geographical aspects and the availability of laboratory facilities that have not been maximized.

This research was motivated by the lack of development of innovative contextual-based learning media. The aims of this research were (1) to develop a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills, and (2) to determine the feasibility level of a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills. The method used was research and development of a 4-D model modified by Thiagaradjan. The research was conducted in 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The instrument used was a validation sheet which is validated by expert lecturers and junior high school science teachers. The results showed that (1) the process of developing a science bulletin was carried out using three stages of the 4-D model, such as define, namely problem identification, design, namely producing products and instruments, and developing stage, namely obtaining product feasibility, (2) feasibility level of food science bulletins. as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) oriented to critical thinking skills, it gets a very decent category from material experts and media experts, each getting a percentage of 87.48%, for material experts and 91.40% for media experts. Based on the overall validation value, if on average it gets a percentage of 89.44% in the very feasible category, so that science bulletins can be used as learning media and can be tested in science learning in schools.

Science education-based local media on the carbon footprint subject was developed in order to demonstrate the creation and description of the learning media that have been prepared. There are three stages in the R&D process: define, design, and development. The R&D approach is based on Thiagarajan et al. (1974)'s development model. In-depth interviews and expert-led validity tests are undertaken using a variety of instrument. Descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed on the data. The results of this study obtained a score of 93.8% (very feasible) in terms of feasibility, 98.4% (very feasible) in the presentation aspect, 94.3% (very feasible) in the graphic aspect, and 99.7% (very feasible). in the language aspect. So that when viewed as a whole, the aspect obtained a value of 96.5% with very feasible criteria.

The aim of this research was to describe improvement of student learning outcomes through implementation of interactive learning media based on Bio Smart application on human circulatory system material. The research design used was one-group pretest-posttest design. Samples of this research were students on second grade of junior high school 42 Surabaya two classes, namely VIII G and VIII H as replication class involving 56 students. Data collection techniques were observation, tests, and questionnaires. Research instruments were observation sheets on implementation of learning, test question sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis carried out was analysis of implementation of learning, analysis of student learning outcomes, and analysis of student response questionnaires. Learning outcomes on pretest and posttest were analyzed by Statistical Package for the Social Sciences or SPSS version 26. Analysis contain normality test, homogeneity test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Moreover, to describe increasing learning outcomes, N-Gain analysis is used. Result of this research is implementation of learning in both classes got results in Very Good category. Student learning outcomes have increased that there was significant difference between results of pretest and posttest in each class. In class VIII G there were 60.71% of students get N-Gain score in the High category. In class VIII H there were 57.14% of students get N-Gain score in High category. Responses given by students to learning from both classes get positive response in Very Good category. Conclusion obtained is implementation of interactive learning media based on Bio Smart applications can improve student learning outcomes.

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the learning process, improving learning outcomes and student responses by using Problem Based Learning model based on a local wisdom science class of second grade at junior high school. The type of research used a Pre-experimental design and the research design used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research was implemented to students in class VIII-G as many as 34 students at Junior High School 34 Surabaya in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques were using tests, questionnaires, and observations. The instruments of this research are test sheets in the form of pretest and posttest, student response questionnaires observation sheets. The implementation of learning using the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom has an average assessment at the first meeting obtained a percentage of 94.31% and the second meeting 100%. Learning outcomes can be seen in the increase of pretest and posttest which get average N-Gain scores of 0.69 which included the moderate category. Then the results of the effect size analysis show that the effectively of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom is 3.20 with a strong effect. The students gave a positive response to the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom with an average percentage of 97,93%. The conclusion of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom can improve student learning outcomes.

The purpose of this development research was to describe the feasibility of student worksheet to improve students scientific literacy skills on the reaction rate material in terms of aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method refers to the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan which is limited to the develop stage with limited trials to students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan as many as 30 students. The results of data analysis showed that the feasibility of LKPD from the aspect of validity seen from 4 criteria, namely content, presentation, language, and graphics, the percentage was 93.72%; 93.33%; 90.28%; and 92.78% with very valid criteria. The practicality of LKPD seen from the observation of activities and student response questionnaires obtained a percentage of 98.69% and 95.91% on very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the LKPD is seen from the results of the students pretest and posttest, namely cognitive tests and tests of scientific literacy skills which showed an increase with N-Gain scores of 0.67 and 0.60 in the medium category, respectively. LKPD to improve proper scientific literacy skills is very important to be developed as a learning resource so that it makes the learning process of students meaningful.

This research was based on the constraints found in the field about the science learning process in junior high schools. Learning activities oriented to scientific literacy and student independence have not been carried out optimally. Independent learning can be implemented by training it through e-modules based on scientific literacy. This study aims to detail the efficiency level of e-modules based on scientific literacy with the theme let's prepare for disasters to train the learning independence of junior high school students. The method used is Research & Development with the ADDIE model, namely the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. At the implementation stage, the results of the validity of the scientific literacy-based e-module with the theme let's be prepared for disaster to train junior high school students' learning independence showed that based on validation by material experts, the percentage score was 93.7% in the "Very Valid" category, validation by teaching materials experts obtained a percentage value. 89% in the "Very Valid" category and validation by expert educators obtained a percentage of 85.79% in the "Very Valid" category. The results of the efficiency level of e-module products reached a percentage value of 87.16% in the "Very Efficient" category.
