Abstract

This study aims to determine complementary therapies that can be applied to managing anxiety and depression in the elderly in the community. Methods for searching articles through English databases: EBSCO host, Scopus, Pro-Quest, Wiley Online Library, Sage Publications, Science direct, and Springer Link in the last ten years. The search results obtained 282 articles, and six reports identified that met the inclusion criteria. Systematic review analysts use the PRISMA diagram. There are six complementary therapies used: aromatherapy, reiki, laughter therapy, acupressure, religion, aromatherapy, music, and reiki. In conclusion, all of these complementary therapies are effective in the management of anxiety or depression. The complementary treatment suggested in the direction of pressure is aromatherapy, while depression is religious therapy. Keywords: Depression, Anxiety, Parents, Complementary Therapy

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the knowledge and attitudes of healthy snack children through snake and ladder games in Lubuk Pakam sub-district. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design of two groups of the pretest-posttest system. The results showed that by using the statistical test, the value of p = 0.000 <0.05. Based on the pretest and post-test results on 54 students, the average change in knowledge before the intervention was 12.8, and the closest intervention was 15.5. The shift in attitude before the intervention was 10.2, and after the intervention was 12.8. In conclusion, there is the influence of snake and ladder game counseling on healthy snack foods on elementary school children's knowledge and attitudes. Abstract

This study shortens the laboratory service time by shortening the centrifuge time and obtaining serum as an examination material. The research method used was pre-experimental research. The results showed that the average LDH in the blood group centrifuged 3000 rpm 5 minutes was 309.9 U / L and 306.4 U / L centrifuged 4400 rpm 3 minutes in the blood group. In conclusion, there is no difference in serum LDH levels from blood centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes and 4400 rpm for 3 minutes. Keywords: Centrifugation, Lactate Dehydrogenase, TAT

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive profile based on the characteristics of the elderly assisted my elderly friends in Bandung. This research method is quantitative descriptive research. The results showed that out of 80 elderly respondents, most were in the normal category, as many as 72 elderly (90%). The elderly who are categorized as usual to mild disorders are mostly in the age range of 60-70 years, are female, homemakers work, married marital status, medical history of hypertension and physical activity are homework and gymnastics, while for the elderly with disorders cognitive weight, age 78 years, female gender, widowed, marital status, work as a housewife, medical history of hypertension and physical activity, gymnastics and housework. In conclusion, the cognitive abilities of the elderly assisted my elderly friends in Bandung City in 2019 were mostly in the normal category and the cognitive skills of the elderly with typical to severe types; most of the elderly did homework and gymnastics. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of midwives and internal marketing efforts (empowerment, reward system, and capacity building) with midwife loyalty. This research is an analytical study with a population of midwives involved in PONED services at Puskesmas. The results showed that employment status has a positive correlation with loyalty (sig = 0.019). Empowerment efforts and reward systems have no relationship with midwife loyalty, while efforts to increase competence have a positive relationship with commitment (sig = 0.037). In conclusion, the certainty of employment status and the better the efforts to increase competence carried out by the Puskesmas will determine midwives' loyalty in PONED services. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between patient characteristics, including gender, age, education level, occupation, and dental health values ​​, with the decision to purchase dental and oral health services. The research method used in this research is analytic observational with a cross-sectional study design. The results showed that most of the dental clinic patients were female as much as 73.8%, adult age was 82.2%, middle education was 60.7%, students were 68.2%, and the value of moderate dental health was 55, 1%. There is a significant relationship between the amount of dental health (p-value = 0.024) and the decision to purchase dental and oral health services, while gender, age, education level, and occupation show no significant relationship. In conclusion, patient characteristics in dental health values ​​determine patients in making decisions related to purchasing dental and oral health services. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between information factors, knowledge, family support, and attitudes to become a member of the BPJS. The research method used was observational with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that 69.4% were female, 32.2% were aged 36-45 years. 53.4% ​​have a high school education. The people who are members of the BPJS are 69.53%. There is a relationship between information about BPJS and BPJS membership (p-value = 0,000) and family support and attitudes to support BPJS, which are also related to BPJS membership (p-value = 0,000). Knowledge about BPJS is not related to BPJS membership (p-value = 0.229). In conclusion, information about BPJS, good family support, and a supportive attitude towards BPJS will determine BPJS membership, while knowledge is not related to BPJS membership. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of self-efficacy, outcome expectations, socio-structural factors, and intention on the behavior of the infant-mother (6-24 months) in exclusive breastfeeding. The research design used was observational with a cross-sectional approach. This study indicates that the variables that affect the mother's intention to provide exclusive breastfeeding are socio-structural factors (p = 0.016). Respondents who choose to provide exclusive breastfeeding will have the behavior of giving exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.003). In contrast, self-efficacy (p = 0.340) and outcome expectations (p = 0.682) do not affect the mother's intention. Likewise, the mother's exclusive breastfeeding behavior was not influenced by self-efficacy (p = 0.294) and outcome expectations (p = 0.586). In conclusion, the factors that influence a mother's exclusive breastfeeding behavior are intention and socistructural factors. Keywords: Exclusive breastfeeding, Cognitive Social Approach

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of caring training on the behavior of providing nursing care to students of the Poltekeks Kemenkes Padang. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental pre-post test control group. The results showed that knowledge's p-value, affective, and psychomotor variables = 0.000 (p <0.05). In conclusion, caring training can improve students' experience, affective, and psychomotor in providing nursing care. Keywords: Nursing Care, Caring

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of SEFT interventions in improving the quality of life of HIV / AIDS patients in Padang City. The design of this study was a Quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. This study found that the average quality of life of HIV patients before SEFT administration was 97.07, and the average rate of life of HIV patients after SEFT administration was 102.6. It can be seen that the mean difference between before and after SEFT action is 5.57 with a standard deviation of 6.98. The statistical test results obtained p-value = 0.011. In conclusion, there is a significant difference between the quality of life of HIV patients before and after SEFT treatment. Keywords: HIV, Quality of Life, SEFT
